Both the night staff and the day straff were exceptionally friendly, cheerful, helpful, courteous, and professional. Their performance in each of these areas far exceeded any hotel/motel staffs we have encountered any place we stayed over many years.

We stayed here for one night and the neighbors sounded like they were doing constuction all night. The free "breakfast" consisted of cookies and milk and cereal. The location was very close to everything we wanted to see and do and only 5 minutes from the shore. I would reccommend this hotel to others. We stayed 2 different nights and the staff was very nice and helpful.

i liked the overall location of the hotel!!! only thing i was upset about was the house keeping didnt come in to often to clean while we were there!! had to ask for clean towels and had to empty our own garbage!!!

Though this hotel was nothing fancy, but they sure know how to make a guest feel welcome. Everytime we passed by the front desk, we were greeted warmly. The continental breakfast was decent. Not much to it, but the food was good. Only problem was that the food ran out quickly and there wasnt much a a selection the second day we were there.

Me and two of my friends came to stay at myrtle for the weekend. Luckily we found this hotel. It was great! Its near everything, best huddle house five yards away, friendly staff, clean rooms and overall great experience!

It's been a while since I have stayed in a "budget" motel. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room. It had a large bathroom and the room was furnished comfortably. I would stay there again.

You get what you pay for. If you're on a tight budget, this motel is adequate. Nothing special but it gets the job done, which is all I expected. Beds were comfortable.

This was my first time to Myrtle Beach, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel was located close to many places which made this experience even better. I would definitely return to stay at this hotel. Thanks so much!!

Ok we were looking for somewhere resonaable to stay.........the price was good............the musty smell the elevators needed to be cleaned...the beds were to hard, the sheets had not been changed on the one bed we slept on the other and prayed they had been changed........the tub in the bathroom has stains in the tub.....I think this place just needs […] a renovations done to it...........the Huddle House next door was best to the stay at the hotel....cause the breakfast bar was to busy and not stocked fast enough........so we went next door for breakfast! We only needed a place for one night, luckily. The room was pretty run down. Beds and bed linen not very comfortable, but the worst part was that our air conditioner wasn't working in our room. Front desk said someone was coming tomorrow to fix it, but that didn't help us. It was awfully humid and hot, so we weren't able to sleep. This hotel is good for just a comfortable visit to the beach. If you just need a place to stay and chill for a good price and that has good location near the hottest spots down in South Carolina, then this is the place to be. However, if you're looking for an enjoyable hotel with fancy things and fancy sheets and stuff, I suggest you choice a different […] hotel. This hotel is very good considering the low- rate. Its a good place to stay if you really just need somewhere to lay your head without paying alot of money. Mehr

This is an example of you get what you paid for. I needed an inexpensive room between Myrtle and Sunset for a couple of nights. The room seemed a bit musty when I got there. Cigarette burns in comforters and furniture. However the front desk staff was great. Excellent location. Seems perfect for groups that are tourists in town to party. This was a good hotel for the price. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. I would recommend you bring your own pillow as well, the ones provided were not very good. But overall I would recommend this hotel to someone on a budget or even for a short stay.

This hotel was great, the huddle house was great. They give you cookies @ 5pm, the staff was amazing and the breakfast was ok if you eat light but the huddle house next door was very affordable and GOOD. The location is perfect, surrounded by every restaurant you could think of. I would say if you want a buffet go to Benjamins Calabash Seafood. That […] place is amazing and it only cost $27.00, its alot of food to choose from and have a great dessert bar as well. The beach is in walking distance from the hotel as well. This is perfect if your not trying to stay in your room alot. You can also bring a dvd player as well, in our spare time we watched movies that we brought with us. Mehr

GOOD OFF SEASON PRICE AND LOCATED NEAR BAREFOOT LANDING SHOPPING CENTER. WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. WISH BREAKFAST WOULD BE SERVED LONGER FOR THOSE GUESTS WHO LIKE TO SLEEP IN WHILE ON VACATION.

The hotel was adequate. It is a little old but clean. it was close to the beach which was the reason for us choosing it. It's a good place to stay if you don't plan to be spending too much time in the room. A plus was that the staff was super friendly and helpful.

the hotel is very nice but if you have small toddlers or infants dont go there they say their rooms have micro-waves and mini-fridges but they dont. So while on our stay we had to buy a small bottle of milk every night of the week because it would go bad if we got a large one! also there were a large amount of loud teenagers outside the hotels main […] enterence and it wole my children we were carrying in. All in all nice hotel if you have no children! Mehr

At the time we booked this hotel was the cheapest in it's area. I thought that meant it would be terrible. It wasn't great, but it was just fine. It's wasn't low class. It is a long walk to the beach, but it is walkable and I was dragging a cooler. So overall, I thought it was a pretty good deal.

The non smoking room linen still smelled like it was used by a smoker. There was a new Dead cockroach the size of my thumb (I am 6'6 300lb so I have a big thumb). The bath tub had a warped floor and I almost fell twice trying to wash up. The continental breakfast was ok. The hotel is located on a main thorough fair. It was surrounded by what ever type […] of resteraunt, mini -golf course you want to try. The mall and Walmart were about 5 min away by car. Which is a good thing as I wanted to spend as little time in my room as possible and not just cuz I wanted to hit the beach. There are other hotels to choose from nearby , do your self a favor and try one of them. Mehr

Big, clean room with Kingsize bed. Not on Ocean front, but close to water and the main strip {Hwy 17} Went for Mustang week and was within 3 miles of event. Excellent staff, very helpful with directions, advise. Came with continental breakfast. A refridge was the only thing I wish this room had, but we made due with ice bucket. Would stay here again […] and highly recommend this hotel to others. Mehr

Front desk employees were always friendly and answered our questions. Room was clean and great for the price. Within walking distance to beach, food, and shopping. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, stayed one night only. Located very close to the House of Blues. Needs some maintenance but overall would recommend to others.

The hotel was clean - our room and the lobby. The breakfast was very good and fresh. The staff was very friendly. The room was old but good enough for what we wanted for this stay. The location of the hotel was excellent for what we wanted. We would stay there again. This was our 2nd stay and last time we walked to the beach pretty easily.

The staff was very nice, and the hotel quality was OK, but there was a lovely view from our room of a trailer park. We also saw some suspicious activity at the pool. We didn't feel very safe there, but certainly there were no incidents toward us to validate this feeling. The continental breakfast was decent, but we would probably not chose to stay here […] again. the hotel staff was the friendliest I have encountered and the hotel was very nicely kept. The huddle house across the parking lot is a great place to eat too.

I don't know why, but I expected this hotel to be shotty, but it wasn't at all. The room and bathroom were large, comfortable, and clean. There's an all night diner right next door which is very convenient. Staff were helpful and polite. Room even had mini fridge and safe. I was pleased.

The hotel is old but for the price who cares. Would have like to had a bath tub that was not so stained. But again for the price and how close to the beach it was a great place!!! Will stay there again. Great staff!! Very nice people. Wish I could remeber the lady's name. She working in the morning she is very thin and short hair. She was great!!!

The Super 8 Motel at Barefoot Landing was very discusting. The bathroom had left over hair in the tub and floor. The room had a very strong smoke smell even though they said they sprayed for it. I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE.

This was a great deal on a room at the beach. The hotel was located out away from the busy beach traffic. It had plentyof restaurants and shopping around.

The hotel met my expectations. It was clean and functional. I would stay their again.

The hotel is only about 3-5 blocks from the beach. Our kids loved the pool and so did we. The room was pretty clean except for a few pieces of trash under the beds. The beds could have been a little less firm and that would have made them a bit more comfortable. And they need to get a few more extra pillows, when I requested 1 extra pillow they told […] me they were all out. The free breakfast was decent, not great but enough to get your day started. This hotel is relatively low-cost, and close to the beach and shopping areas, which was what we were looking for. The only negative comment is that there was apparently a tiny sliver or speck of glass on the bedspread that I cut my palm on when I stretched across the made-up bed. The bed is hard as a rock like sleeping on a stack of plywood with a flapjack for a pillow! Plus my son found 2 blood spots when he turned his pillow over! The description states waffles on the continental breakfast but no waffle maker was present. There were old makeup stains on the fabric shower curtain (inside the shower). The desk staff were very […] courteous but I will never stay here again. Luckily we only spent one night here and we were hardly there except from 10:30pm- 9am when we checked out. When we came back from dinner the parking lot was full and we had to park in the back left lot and it was not lit. I didn't feel safe leaving my car there but there were no other spaces. I will research hotels more thoroughly before coming to Myrtle Beach again!! Mehr

I was not overly thrilled with the quality of the hotel, but as they say you get what you pay for. The price for the room was very good and I was prepared for a basic hotel room, not expecting the Hilton, where I stayed by the way for the following two nights for a conference. On the good side, the sheets were clean and fresh and the noise level was […] less than expected given that the hotel seemed to be full of workers staying there while working in the area. They were well behaved and pleasant. The young man who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful and our continental breakfast was as advertised. On the negative, my room looked as if someone had run a vacuum over the carpet for all of two minutes. The bathroom was filthy- it looked like someone had spit all over the sink and it was not cleaned. There were hairs all over the bathtub. At least the commode was clean and I did have clean towels. While the location of the hotel is nice, close to many "tourist" areas, getting in and out of the complex was seriously difficult, especially during rush hour. Checked in 1 room, the air wasn't working properly. they changed me to another room, with no problem. I did have only one problem, the shower curtain would not close and a little rust at bottom of tub.

first of all the bed was like sleeping o a piece of plywood, room was end room right out at the road so you had all the road noise and then you have the bar right next door that plays loud music and people are yelling until all hours of the morning, the hotel staff was great with assisting us to another room but only had 2 left one was a smokers room […] which I am not and the other the toilet overflowed and the carpet was wet..would not stay here again Mehr

There was a problem with leaking around the window but they were quick to move us to another room and made sure we were comfortable. The room was walking distance to the ocean, beach shops, drug store, restaurants and just a couple blocks from barefoot landing. Breakfast was fine and there was a huddle house in the same parking lot. If they allowed […] pets, I would NEVER stay anywhere else at the beach! Mehr
