Hotel staff was helpful and recommended a great restaurant. Convient to Biltmore, which is what we came to see. Not the Ritz, but good enough.

Clean, quiet, comfortable and a good price. We will stay here every time we return.

Lights didn't work tv didn't work shower was plugged up dirty n stinky only stay here for a late night place to crash

Hotel staff could not have been more helpful and gracious. Cheerful and upbeat.

I was able to reserve a King - Non-smoking room 4 hours before arrival, on Challenge/Marathon weekend (February 24). Friendly service, comfy bed, close to everything we needed, and other runners there too. Hope to stay here next year!

I had to stay in a "smokers room" because the only non-smokers rooms were on the second floor and I could not handle the stairs. Otherwise the motel was okay for a short stay. The "breakfast" was all white bread products and very unhealthy - I skipped that part.

This motel was a fantastic value for the price! It's definitely not a 5 star hotel, but the room was clean, service good, and I couldn't complain. It was exactly what I needed to fit my budget.

The motel was nice, but a bit pricey for the location. One thing I was very satisfied with was the staff. The lady who checked us in was very nice and very friendly. She made us feel welcome. Hats off to the front desk staff.

This is the second time I have stayed at this motel. It is convenient, comfortable and clean. However, this time neither bathroom light worked in the first unit I was given. I was moved to another, which did not have a refrigerator or microwave, which the first one did. Next time I will know to make sure.

Nice staff. Bed not so comfortable, but ok for an overnight stay. Would use again.

smoke detector broken,air condition knobs broken, dirty, bed hard as rock, pillows flat, breakfast a joke. not ever gonna go back. I am out for it too. would have kept looking if i knew hoe bad it was gonna be

the hotel needs renovatation. The wall paper is coming off the wall. The bathroom fixtures are coming a part. The room a paint job.

Very inexpensive and pet friendly. Only $5 per pet per/night. Rooms average, but great for the price.

People need to stop expecting 4 star hotel experiences at this price. Yes the decor could use some updating - but for the value this place is great and we will DEFINITELY go back when we are visiting the surrounding areas. This was a pleasant motel--clean, quiet and convenient. There were more amenities than I expected. I would definitely stay there again.

This motel was clean, with a microwave and refrigerator, which I didn't expect. The price was half other motels were charging, and it was a quiet location. We were very pleased until we woke up at 6am with the air conditioner putting out HOT air. We enjoyed the room, and was convenient to Ashville......did not want the hub but of the big city, and this site was perfect.........enjoyed the unique stores in town also........would recommend your site to my friends!

The check in was awkward and the supervisor/owner had to intervene. The entire hotel needs to be painted and repairs made to facility. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean but other than that, the carpeting was filthy, flies in the room, outdated and very unattractive furniture. The location was perfect for our needs. Another complaint was […] that there was no elevator for the 2nd floor room we were assigned and my mother is handicapped. They did move us to a first floor room but not without some difficulty. In general the motel looked run down. The top hinge of door on mini-fridge was broken.

The hotel was easy to get to, front desk was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, beds seemed new and bathroom was clean. The hotel seemed to be a bit older and the outside was not as spiffy as our room was, otherwise it was fine. We walked to a restaurant to have dinner and walked back. Deadbolt on door not working, Cable/TV issues could on get 4 channel clear discuss with person in office nothing done, room smelled, Faucets in shower would turn on but issues turning them off they were worn out.

Bedding had holes in them , not seen until spread was pulled down.... a human HAIR was on sink counter top. rooms lighting was poor, unless the window drapes were pulled back (exposed ones privacy to walkers by)

I feel like I paid too much for the room. This trip made me realize that I will from now on carry cleaning products with me whenever I travel. The bathroom was disgusting. There were hairs that did not belong to me on the toilet, floor, and shower. The bed was uncomfortable and I never put my bare feet on the carpet.

This place is really run down and a little grotty. The staff are friendly but the building itself is pretty awful. For reasons unknown the management have taken the odd decision of carpetting the outside stairs and walkways!! Who thought that was a good idea, No need to describe what state they are in! We woken each day by motorcyclists roaring out […] of the car park making as much noise as possible. Complimentary breakfast is served (Left out!) in the tiny lobby and consists of coffee and cerials, with only 2 tables in there it's a good job it wasn't popular. During our 2 day stay our room was never cleaned and clean towels were not brought to our room and our beds were not made. While I was sitting on one bed I looked over and there was trash under the other bed and it was not ours. I will never stay at a Super 8 again.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The rooms were not quite ready at the 2 o'clock check in, but where gotten to right away when we checked in. Once cleaned, the hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Only complaint is that the t.v did not get all of the channels and that the internet was somewhat slow. The hotel was what I expected, nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Mini frig was handy, and the shower head was great. The downtown shopping is within walking distance. We enjoyed all of the shops, My Father's Pizza, The Cellar Door and even caught a show at White Horse music hall. Mt. Mitchell/Blue Ridge Pkwy are […] within an hour. Mehr

The location of the motel is convenient and quiet. The overall atmosphere is quite nice. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. When checking in to room, I should not have the immediate desire to ask for cleaning supplies and be disgusted when walking on the floor barefoot.

Yuck. The room smelled as if it hadn't been used in quite a while. The tv had no cable, and when you're traveling with children, this is definitely a perk you look for when booking. I won't be booking at this motel again.

The employees at Hotel Super 8 Black Mountain North Carolina, were extremely nice, pleasant, enjoyable, and professional.They were great! And the location was very convenient for shopping and dining. I am looking forward to returning soon.
