Das Hotel liegt in Burbank direkt neben einer Highway Ausfahrt. Man erreicht den Rodeo Drive und den Walk of Fame in ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Universal Studio sind in 7 Minuten zu erreichen. Wer nicht das teure Hotelfrühstück möchte, kann günstig auf der anderen Strassenseite im Supermarkt bei VONS einkaufen. Es gibt alles dort. Von frischen […] Donuts über Bagles wie auch Starbucks Kaffee direkt im Geschäft. Der einzige Nachteil des Hotels ist, dass man nur mit Valet Parking das Auto abgeben kann. Das ist teuer. Hotel room was not as nice as expected but it was nice. The area was good, parking was expensive (Park on the street near hotel to save vallet cost) Pool/SPA was not in service when I stayed in April 2012. Very close to Warner Bros studios and a few miles from hollywood. Not the closest place if hollywood is your main destination, find another closer […] and easier to drive. Driving by the hollywood bowl can be a long wait if a concert is starting or ending. I got stuck waiting for 30 minutes trying to get to the hotel from hollywood. Mehr

The staff there is very polite and helpful! Also the location is good.Opposite the hotel, there's a supermarket!

I was very satisfied with my stay. I thought the hotel was well-appointed and well-run. The ratings of those who had stayed there was high, and I can see why. It is just over the Hollywood Hills in Burbank, which, i assume, is why the rate is lower than some lesser hotels in West Hollywood and Hollywood. In spite of its major renovation/construction underway for expansion, it manages to maiintain the comfort of its guests. It's a "boutique" hotel where an elder guest such as myself can still enjoy. When the new quarters are completed, the room charges may go up. Hope Hotel.com has its persuasive muscles to keep them down for us!

Beautiful hotel, clean, well taken care of. Quiet, provided for restful night. Bed extremely comfortable.

I have stayed at the hotel a few times and always found it comfortable. There aren't any views from the rooms I have stayed in but it's quiet and the rooms are well equipped. Visitors get free parking, guests are charged $32 for valet (self parking is not available) which I think is just unacceptable practice. I really enjoyed my stay. I wish I could live there. The decor is beautiful and modern but elegant.

We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and it was first rate. Since it has changed hands it doesn't have the same special feel. Our room's tv would not turn on. We had eng. come and fix that. The light fixture was broken and would not turn on. The Shower head was plugged and little water pressure. We did bring our small dog but once we found […] out there was an additional $100 fee, we took our dog back home since we lived so close. All in all our romantic evening turned out to be just another night in a so so hotel. Mehr

Hotel should have informed us that it was under renovations. Halls were often dirty due to contruction debris, and then there was the smell of paint and other contruction type oders. Would have booked elsewhere if I had known!

This hotel is on par with hotels that are priced much higher. Be warned, parking is Valet only for $32.

The photograph you see on the listing highly exaggerates the size of this urban hotel--I passed by a few times before finding this hotel. Rooms are small but decent. Not much hotel service. Hotel should also disclose the $30 plus tax valet parking fees to customers before bookings for comparison with other hotels--this was not mentioned anywhere on […] the listing. Mehr

I was a little set back by the appearance of the Hotel Amarano, as it was under construction and the front did not match its pictoral representation,. However the professionalism and courtesy of the staff, and their willingness to accomodate me was very pleasurable. Thank you for making my stay so great. Also, the location was very convenient!

A little pricey but great place. Only has valet parking which sucks. I was only there a couple hours and had to pay 30 bucks

Excellent boutigue hotel and wish my stay had been longer

Had a twin double room. Good size and comfortable. 10 minutes to Universal Studios and major outlet shops. Great bagel shop around the corner for breakfast - with a Laundromat next to the bagel shop. Very convenient eat while you wash.

Very nice hotel ..but no convenient parking.

The only thing is, we needed 2 bedroom room but they did not have one. So 2 person slept in the sofa, which was not confortable.

Such a cozy relaxing place that I almost hate to advertise it! The staff are invariably couteous and helpful. They remember you!

The only negative is that for the price of the hotel room parking should be included unfortunately it is not.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. The staff was pleasant and very accommodating. Our room was HUGE and very comfortable. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Amarano on our return visits.

Overall nice, 2 concerns, overnight parking was very pricey @ $30 & on Sunday nights the walking distance restaurants were either closed or don't have open kitchens.

We were quite pleased with this hotel. There is a Vons grocery store right across the street. There is also a Starbucks directly across the street. The staff was helpful an. The neighborhood was lovely. Thank you hotels.com

My husband and I wanted an overnight getaway and Hotel Amarano was a quiet, romantic escape. The staff was friendly and attentive, though we are low maintenance people and don't need to be fussed over. Parking is as others have indicated- park around the corner for free, or pay $30.00 plus tax. Easy choice, I think. Across the street there is a Starbucks, […] Pavilions and a few restaurants. We took advantage of the Pavilions and bought drinks and dinner and took it to our room. TV is phenomenal- large flat screen, maybe 42#? We brought Netflix from home and watched a movie. We had a balcony and that was lovely. The only downside was the shower. We were given a handicap bathroom, so the tub I imagined myself saokin gin, didn't exist. (perhaps this was because we boight one of the last few remaining rooms- I would double check this next time). Overall, excellent experience. We often need to get away from our teenagers, so we will return for some peace and quiet! Mehr

Did not seek any service, but overall decent look and decor of hotel and room. Room was clean and nice. What was annoying was the continuous motor /or some buzzz sound / traffic sound which did not let me sleep .. I was wondering what is sound as it was combination of traffice, some motor running somewhere.. probably it had to do with side of room […] and problem with that room only !! May be, the glass windows are standard thin glasses rather than double sound proof glasses which i have found in many hotels next to busy areas. So the overall experience of hotel was bad, as I could not sleep on bed, but had to sleep on sofa because of the humming sound... Mehr

Perfect. This hotel and its staff are exceptional. Its as good as it can...I will stay here again!

Enjoyed my stay here very much. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, and more than I expected considering the very reasonable rates.

This hotel was completely above my expectations. I received a true 5 star experience from a smaller non-chain hotel. Something that was surprising was that I had forgotten some essential bathrooms items and they were all given to be at not additional cost. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. My only item of complaint was the […] mandatory valet parking. The hotel had no self-parking so an additional $30 dollar valet fee was required. Looking back at it, it was worth it! Mehr

Really like the hotel and would have rated it a 5 instead of 4, except for the fact that they are going through major renovations. No pool for another year!! When you check in, make sure you look out the window of your room...you may be facing the construction site of the new wings of the hotel. If you are, change rooms. The bulldozers and working starts […] promptly at 8 AM...no sleeping in in those rooms. The first floor rooms have patios and if you are traveling with a pet (I was) they are useful for the open, outdoor space. I stay at this hotel. New, Fresh, Clean, but: - Only Valet "mafia" parking - Housekeeping knock your door: ~ 9:00am ; 10:00ам ; 11:00am - terrible situation. - Constraction Noise outside, front your window. They started every day after 8am. Cant sleep.

Outstanding. In almost every way. Noisy people out front create an uncomfortable 3am wake up call. I wished the staff would have asked them to leave otherwise great stay price and location

two negative aspects; 1) parking is now $29 plus tax! 2) they are currently building a pool and our room was right above the construction area (very noisy early morning)
