"Somewhat Satisfied"
The hotel room we were given was newly renovated and had a great view but when we turned on the air conditioner is smelled like a dead rat in the room. To the conclusion we could not use it. The sink was clogged and the hotel made no effort to fix either of the issues, only offering us a new room which was horrible. The hotel was down a small street […] which I passed several times. Otherwise the staff was was very gracious and the location was fantastic... just feet from the Trevi Fountain. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung
"Central location to sights"
Second time staying at Hotel Trevi. The room was in a different building than our first stay. We reserved a triple room with 3 beds, and the pull out sofa was very uncomforable. The only lights were wall sconces controlled by a wall switch that lit up the room very brightly, but not good for someone else trying to sleep. No window, but had a door to […] a courtyard which we kept closed at night. We couldn't start the wall fan/air with the remote. The bathroom had some mold in the shower and the sink stopper didn't work. Didn't get our wake up call. We informed the front desk to no avail. The rate was quite high for the room condition, even though it was Saturday. I had to ask for a copy of the receipt for our first stay earlier that week because I only had a credit card receipt. "Awful"
Save yourself some time, money and disgust by booking elsewhere. The pictures on the website are in no way indicative of what the actual rooms look like. The walls in our room were filthy. The furniture was outdated, cheap and damaged. The grout in the bathroom was stained and moldy. Rome is a pretty warm city. The AC is controlled by the hotel , not […] you. The heat was on in our room and it was stifling. The location was decent, but Rome is a very walkable city, so staying near a major attraction isn't really necessary. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. It was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. By far. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

Great location next to Trevi Fountain. Refurbished rooms in the annex are very smart, modern decor, clean and comfortable, good sixed shower room, if the bedroom part was a bit on the small side. Breakfast was great, on the roof terrace. Can be a little cramp if its busy, but it did not cause us a problem.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

Rooms were ok for the price ($100 per night). There is no wifi except in the main hotel. They have several hotel locations under hotel Trevi which is fine except there is no wifi at the other locations which would be nice.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung
"Great location, lousy rooms"
Great location! Hotel was noise and rooms were confusing, as they sent us to another building about a block from the front desk (the hotel is a "group of 5 buildings around the main building", so I ended up not staying in one of those dreamy old rooms you imagine but an average modern age weird noisy room. However, it was just a decent room and it […] was just a room to sleep and crash while you walk the city, which is all you need. Location was very close to everything. Breakfast is included but lousy and very small room to eat it. I overall recommend it. MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung
Stayed in another part of the hotel that was a apartment about a block away. This building had genuine marble statues, and many antiquities in the courtyard. Room was a bit wierd with bathroom downstairs and bed upstairs, but if you can get over that, this was an awesome locationAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Good location but awful experience"
When we arrived we were informed that they don't have any more rooms, we were offered a room in another Hotel, part of their group, but far away from the city center? The reservation was done with 1 month in advance. After complaining we were offered a room in a building next to the Hotel, "room" with a surface of ~ 7-8 sqm. The second day they apologized […] for the conditions from our 1st night & offered us another room in a apartment building 30m away from the Hotel, which was quit ok. But, although they apologized for the conditions in the 1st night and told us that no other expenses will be billed for the second night, in the end we were charged for the second night (superior room), which unfortunately I did see only after one month in my bank statement. In both nights / rooms we had no hot water, which is really bad after walking all day long to see Rome, so although the location is good I would never recommend it . Great hotel - superb location, comfortable rooms and well priced. Three mates and I recently stayed here on a lads trip to room. Could not complain. We had a large room across the lane way that was great size and being separate to the hotel was a plus with easy access. Was a tad noisy of mornings. Location is fantastic! Stones throw from Trevi fountain […] and 2 min walk to shopping on Corso. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rome. MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"Amazing neighborhood but awkward hotel"
LOVED the hotel location- fantastic, and close to everything! Just a short walk to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. Tons of restaurants and shops closeby...breakfast was fantastic, but sadly the hotel is weird. The ONLY rooms they have available in the main building where you check in and breakfast is served are Standard. Therefore, beware […] if you upgrade then you will be moved to a satellite building a few blocks away. We found the satellite building weird, cold, uncomfortable and namely very UNSAFE. There was no security and no other tenants...very bizarre so we demanded to switch rooms but the price was not adjusted from a deluze that we paid to the standard that we were given in the main building. For such a lovely location, such a disappointment. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

Location of the hotel was excellent. Just around the corner from the Trevi Fountain. The young lady at reception was very nice and organised for our car to be picked up and taken to a garage to be parked. We were upgraded to a superior room and were very impressed with the modern feel to the room. Shower was small but water pressure was great. These […] rooms were in a different building only about a minute walk away from where we checked in but was no inconvenience at all. Breakfast was basic but good with variety and even served cappuccino's. Would highly recommend this hotel. MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"3 night stay in Rome"
Although we booked at the Hotel Trevi, on arirval we were told our room was at another of their properties. The place where we stayed was not a hotel at all. It was on the 5th floor of an apartment buildling. The first 4 floors appeared to be residences. There was no lobby -- or any other hotel amenity at this location -- just a hallway with numbered […] doorways. Our room was new, with sleek contemporary decor, very clean, and small for 3 people. For breakfast, we had to leave our building and walk a block to the actual Hotel Trevi. The location was great, right down a short street to the Trevi Fountain. "Hotel from Hell"
Expedia require to send out one of their inspectors to see what is on offer. Despite the room having been booked 6 months previously they had not made up their mind where to ' put ' us. We were shown a room, which we had to eventually took after finding out that our other room was on the fifth floor, no lift. Open panels showed electric cable boxes […] and general musty smell throughout. The room which we took for one night before being moved was dreadful. You had to climb into the bedet to access the shower. When we opened the window the view was that of a mass of pipes coming down in front of the blank wall facing. The breakfast room was too small and guests staying litterally had to climb over one another to access a seat, where you could find one, for breakfast. Coffee when you found someone was served cold. Food was not topped up when plates were empty. We were eventually moved to another hotel in the group. This hotel was slightly better in that we could open our window and find daylight and that we could access the shower. Breakfast room was again very small with only five tables. So when you went for breakfast you had to hope that you could get a table. The hotel seemed to be a one person staff. She ran the breakfast and did the rooms. We have visited Rome on many occassions and do know what to expect. But this was below all expectations!!!!!!!! MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

Hotel Trevi is in a very good position, minutes from the Trevi Fountain, shops, bus stop and restaurants. The reception staff were very helpful. The only thing missing was a mirror […] in the bedroom. The shower was very good but there was a constant smell coming from the bathroom. "Convenience"
The hotel location is one of the best around. It is just located about 1 miniute away from Trevi Fountain. Restaurants and high street shops are just around the vicinity. On the service part of the hotel, the staff were very accomodating and friendly. But the drawback is mainly the room conditions. Not very bad but acceptable. The beds and rooms looks […] a little bit 'old' but maybe that is how they wanted to create the theme. We had 3 family rooms and the ones at the back of the hotel were quite 'old' but the one I had across the hotel were quite modernised. I was happy with the one I had. "Great Location"
Chose this location because we've been to Rome before and this is an excellent starting point for almost any day trip. My wife and I, and 4 kids (ages 13-19) walked everywhere during our stay. Stroll to the Vatican, Colosseum, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, high-end designer stores - all 30 minutes or less on foot from the hotel - Vatican maybe […] 40 minutes depending how quickly you walk. You can easily walk for hours in the general area as there is much to see. The Trevi Fountain is of course seconds away around the corner. There is a grocery store a few steps from the Trevi Fountain - directly to your left when standing back facing the fountain (60 seconds from the hotel to the store). Water and beer are less than one-quarter of the price at restaurants and convenience stores - buy water here before setting out each day, and a cold beer to take back to your room in the evening (open until 9pm). We had a 2-person and 4-person room, which were located in a separate building around the corner. The fact that our rooms were not in the main building was okay, but we had to walk our bags to the main hotel building when we left because the taxi/van could not fit down the road/path that led to our rooms. A little inconvenient but not too bad. Overall, a great location from which to explore Rome. Enjoy the Eternal City... MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung
