Das Hotel hat Verbesserungspontential und ist nicht mehr ganz auf dem neusten Stand. Das Zimmer wurde am Sonntag nicht gemacht (das Zimmermädchen war wohl verkatert...) ansonsten ist alles sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter freundlich. Alles in allem würde ich das Hotel weiterempfehlen, einfach weil ich denke, dass man zu diesem Preis nicht mehr erwarten […] kann. Mehr

Das Apex European Hotel Edinburgh ist sehr gut gelegen. Bushaltestelle Flughafenbus und Bahnhof Haymarket sind gleich um die Ecke. Das Zentrum mit den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Dîe Zimmer sind nicht riesig, aber sauber. Gratis Wi-Fi.

Günstiges sauberes Hotel, für Stadturlaub bestens geeignet, Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichbar!

Sehr gut erreichbar vom Flughafen (A8). Gratis-Hotel-Parkplätze. in 15 Minuten zu Fuss an der Princess Street. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ist bestens für einen kurzen Aufenthalt geeignet. Dank der Lage ist man in 10min. schon im Stadtzentrum. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

very good and comfortable. most of edinbutgh is walkable. carpet on main thoroughfare looked like it needed replacing

I was very satisfied with the standard of the hotel, shame my partner got her Edinburgh Railway Stations mixed up and thought we were staying near the Waverley & Princes Street.Poor location for night life, good indian restaurant nearby

Arrived late at this hotel, but still received a friendly reception. The room was very compact, the bed was almost touching the desk, but everything was nicely furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was good, but buy it when you get there, not with the room as there are more options to choose from. Staff were helpful and friendly. Very nice and clean. Staff very well mannered and helpful. It would have been nice to hear some Scottish accents!!

The hotel was easy to find and only a 10 minute walk from Murrayfield which was ideal for attending the Bon Jovi concert. The car park only holds 11 cars so be early if you want a space!

Good accomadation with parking available. Close to all sites, bus stop nearby if you did not want to use the car. Close to Murryfield . Great news if you are a music fan as I visit that venue a lot. I will be staying here in future for future venues as is so convenient.

Reception staff excellent - kind , helpful , friendly and very welcoming. Restaurant staff equally efficient and hospitable . Rooms cleaned daily , fresh towels etc. Loved staying in your hotel . Lovely people

I have stayed on Room only basis, - Friendly reception staff, - Reasonable room size but congested with heavy size furniture -Good bed with clean sheets -Big LCD tv with freeview - DVD player, Small fridge - Clean wash area with shower and rubber duck - Old Carpet needs cleaning - Water leak from shower area down to wash area

Very nice hotel and very friendly staff at the desk. Location is a bit far away from everything, but as we were just travelling through is was more than okay. hotel is better from the inside than you might think.

Apex European presents good value in the Haymarket district of Edinburgh. I used this hotel as a springboard to other Scotland destinations accessible by train from the Haymarket station. Good quality standard business type hotel. Had a window which opened - excellent.

Clean and comfortable hotel located within easy walking distance of the city centre.

From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough for us. They were very friendly helpful and informative of where to go and what to do. The rooms were well set out and quiet to say we were near a main road.

The hotel staff were very helpful. However, our overall experience was marred by a grossly over-heated room, with no air conditioning or other adequate means of lowering the temperature. (The temperature seemed to be a particular problem on the 3rd floor.) It was disappointing that unlike other Apex hotels in Edinburgh, the hotel we stayed at on the […] Haymarket had no spa, (although it is possible to use the spa in other hotels free of charge, albeit not very convenient.) Other little niggles included the fact that the hotel had run out of cafenated coffee sachets for the rooms, the hotel bar environment was very poor and the lift had broken down for the duration of our two day stay in August.). I read others reviews of this hotel that said the lift was not working. It was still not working when we stayed there. Room was very hot and no fan was provided to bring the cooler air into the room.

This was a very nice hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The bed was very comfortable and made for a great night's sleep. There was a computer in the lobby with complimentary internet use. The restaurant was a little pricey for what you got. Business style hotel.Excellent room.Only 200 yds from Haymarket station.Bus stop on the doorstep.Buses every 10-20 minutes depending on time of day,including night buses.Overall, an excellent base for a visit to edinburgh

By which I mean the area wasnt the greatest and tram work going outside. BUT inside v. nice and quiet roooms, breakfast v. good, staff friendly. Bit of a walk to the centre, but we dont mind that, not for familiies though.

I wasn't too impressed with the hotel. Apart from the very, very small room (the ensuite bathroom seemed bigger than the room itself), and the lifts being broken for my room on the 4th floor. The Apex European is located in easy walking distance to the centre of town and does have a parking lot, that combined with its four star rating is why we selected it. When we arrived, we were greeted about an excellent receptionist, who was cheerful and helpful, which we found true of all of the staff at the hotel. The structure was another matter. The […] carpets were threadbare, the elevator was out of service, the windows only open less than an inch and there was a heatwave plus no air-conditioning. Very convenient hotel in the heart of Edinburgh, which is easily accessed from the airport by a bus shuttle (to the Haymarket Station stop). The rooms are clean and free wireless internet service is provided. Friendly staff.

Bra hotell om man ska flyga till fran Edinburgh bfra forbindelser till flygplatsen. Annars ar det ganska stokigt i Edinburgh stora infrastrukturprojekt ar p g ( nov 2011)

L'hôtel est plutôt bien situé, très propre et le personnel est plutôt professionnel. Bien pour éditer les billets d'avion de retour. Le petit déjeuner est copieux mais un peu cher.

t fint hotell med kort avstand til sentrum og mange hyggelige pubber og resturanger. Hyggelig betjening som hjalp oss med det vi trengte. Pupen på hotellet var oppe 24 t i strtek vær dag. Gode senger og god frokost.

APEX European hotel är ett hotel som är ett av 3 (?) APEX hotell. Det ligger lite utanför centrum ca 10 minuter. Tågstationen Haymarket station ligger 2 minuter från hotellet och tar dig norrut. Ska du söder ut måste du med största sannolikhet byta i den centrala stationen Wayverly (osäker på stavningen). Hotellets restaurang är under all kritik. De […] flesta av personalen är trevliga även om de behöver träna på "Service with a smile". Maten verkar avancerad på menyn men om man orkar gå in till city finns det mycket bättre utbud som också smakar bättre. Vi åt frukost en morgon, förutom att den kostar 10 pund (ca 100 sek) var den inte bra. Vi åt visserligen den kontinentala, vi kollade inte ens på den brittiska med korv ägg och annat fett, eftersom deras middagar var dåliga. Restaurangen har ett dåligt utbud på öl och ale. Vin listan medioker. Snabb info om taxibilarna: Om man skall bo här boka taxi på flygplatsen, ta inte de som står utanför i kö, de är dyrare i alla fall om man åker 2-3 pers. Vi betalade £11 till. Med de svarta taxibilarna kostar det minst £ 15. De sistnämnda har en högre startavgift och av någon anledning slänger de på ytterligare £2 när de kommer fram till destinationen. Mehr

Fantastiskt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vi kände oss riktigt välkomna.

Hotellet lå ca 15min gang fra George Street og svært nær Jernbanen. Det var lite støy fra trafikk utenfor og det lå to hyggelige puber ca 3-5min gange fra hotellet. Rommene var rene, godt vedlikeholdt og godt utstyrt. Vi spiste ikke på hotellet, men tok pub-frokost i nærheten. Anbefales på det varmeste.

Ontzettend prettig verblijf gehad in dit hotel. Goede service, mooie kamer, erg netjes en opgeruimd bij aankomst. De schoonmaak was eveneens prima. In principe ligt het hotel vrij gunstig om bij het centrum te komen; lopend doe je er 15 min tot aan de rand van het centrum over en 30 min om helemaal in het centrum te staan. Bästa hotellpersonalen jag upplevt och god standard på rummen. Restaurangen är dyr och det är inte värt att köpa hotellfrukost som kostar över 100 kronor per måltid när du kan gå 100 meter och ha 2 andra alternativ som är bättre och bara kostar 30-35 kronor. Överlag får hotellet ett väldigt gott betyg.
