For a belated Valentine's getaway it was perfect. Never stayed at a Staybridge before but my husband & I will definately consider it when we travel in the future. The bathroom was very clean, beds comfortable & even the the room was near the stairwell it was quiet. The breakfast was better than most.

There are a couple of things that we find annoying when staying at this hotel. The front doors do not both open automatically, which while juggling 5 bags of luggage can be tricky. They do not have any trash cans around the grounds of the hotel( I think there is one in the front entry). It would be nice if at each entry, they had a trash can, since […] we came and went through the back entry next to our hotel room. We are thinking of staying here in the future with our dog, and wonder where we would put the bags after picking up after him. We also wish there was a room or area to drop off trash inside the building(or even a dumpster), we were told to just leave it outside our door, but I felt rude doing so, and it looked messy having trash in the hall(in a proper trash bag,but still.) The couches need replacing and we personally don't like the beds, but I think that is just something everyone has a different opinion on. We used the gym while doing laundry, so that was really nice to have. The laundry does take a long time to dry. We have had two different laundry room experiences, really messy and dirty, and really clean. I think they had just cleaned it when it was really clean. Mehr

Everything was great. We had the two bedroom suite and it was very nice. Price was right and staff was very nice and the breakfast was very good. We all agreed that we would definitely stay there again.

When traveling with a teenager, personal space is always an issue. Our suite for the weekend was PERFECT! No complaints about what was on tv or who would use the bathroom first....the kid had his own! The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds, oh so comfy. This was our second stay with Staybridge and we are hooked.

We spent five nights here. We loved the great food (breakfast and dinners too) It was our home away from home, most comfortable and clean. We loved the kitchen with dishes, pots and pans and everything you need to make this place home. We'll come again

Room and hotel were great. Only thing was that the garbage disposal did not operate which was kind of a problem. Otherwise awesome. Will be going back again.

They had a water leak in the lobby, they had no idea of where the closest church was or what time the services were. They put us and my 82 year old brother- in- law who was on a walker on the 3rd floor and the elevator went out and I had to carry all my luggage and his & the walker down 3 floors

The hotel was fairly inviting and had great common spaces (exercise, pool, breakfast and TV rooms. My suite was well equipped, but two things were irritating. First, my room smelled of cigarette smoke, even though the entire facility was non-smoking. Either someone was smoking in another unit or someone had smoked in my unit and it hadn't been properly […] cleaned. Second, when I arrived there were a few sunflower seeds on my bathroom floor. How those could be missed in a good sweep I do not know. The neighborhood was a mix of hotels, industrial, restaurant and some retail, so I didn't have to go far to get what I needed. Great location, has the potential to be awesome but in need of remodeling. We stayed here a couple of years ago and it was awesome. The place is still good but a good deal of things need upgrading.

My husband and I have stayed in Staybridge Suites in Colorado many times and I guess we were spoiled by the service,cleanliness, that we got at that location, this was the reason we chose this hotel. Some of the staff were very rude, when I asked for a toothbrush and toothpaste she told me I had to buy these items because we were staying more than one […] night so we should have been prepared for the stay. The room was not as clean as i expected the couch and chairs were very soiled. I will not chose this hotel in Grand Rapids in the future. Mehr

I went here for a weekend away from it all, got a hottub room and didn't leave the hotel almost all weekend. Fantastic stay, great room, great hotel, very good breakfast...only problem I had (if you can call it a problem) is that the hottub room is on the ground floor next to the parking lot so if I wasn't careful with the window shades I might have […] put on a show! The hotel and staff were great. The staff was very friendly, but at check in I was not warned of a $75.00 authorization charge to my bank account, before checkout I asked about the charges and they said it would be put back in my account in 2-7 days. I was beyond disappointed at this point because I paid in full for the room through expedia and had […] my budget figured out. Please warn the customer of authorization charges before hand. Mehr

I actually had to stay over in Grand Rapids due to bad weather, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was a GREAT value..the rooms were spacious and clean...quiet...bed was fantastic...even the breakfast was more than i thought I would get. KUDOS...this is a fantastic place to stay!!!

Very nice hotel for extended stay. clean and quiet. Very nice breakfast with a wide variety with both hot and cold selections including eggs, waffles, bagels, fruit, cereal, oatmeal,and meat. We only had a small problem finding gluten-free, dairy free items, but that is not unusual and we forgot to request in advance.

Good value, good location. We stayed here for three nights while visiting Meijer Sculpture Gardens. Complimentary breakfast buffet is OK, filling but not especially appetizing. Excellent hotel, I thought I would have to bring my own linen and dishes, but it was stocked with essentials. Very family oriented, especially for extended stays. Outstanding lobby, comfortable, home like quality to room. Able to accomodate space for at least four people comfortably, even five people.

Overall, very nice. There are lots of eating and shopping options nearby. Hotel was just completing an upgrade - new carpet, etc. Kitchen and bath was nice (marble counters, etc.) but the new low flow toilets were irritating and required constant flushing over and over again.
