würden wiederkommen, das internet kann man vergessen, brieftauben sind schneller.m frühstück sehr gut und umfangreich

Gute Mittelklasse, zweckmäßig eingerichtet für normale Touristen ohne Schnörkel. Frühstück ausreichend.

eines unserer besten Hotels während des gesamten USA-Aufenthaltes, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, ngroße, saubere und ansprechende Zimmer, der Pool sowie der heiße Whirlpool haben bis 10 p.m. geöffnet, d.h. man kann nach einem anstrengenden Wanderungstag im Yosemite noch im Pool relaxen. Nettes und für USA-verhältnisse üppiges Frühstück mit ausreichend […] Sitzplätzen, sogar schön im Freien. Gute Ausgangslage für Yosemite,k netter Ort und nette Umgebung. Das Hotel liegt günstig für Besucher des Yosemite NP. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ausreichend groß. Das Frühstück hätte etwas vielseitiger sein können (Wurst oder Käse), war aber in Ordnung. Der Pool war sehr schön. Einkaufmöglichkeiten, Tankstelle und Restaurant waren in unmittelbarer Nähe. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Unser Zimmer war recht klein und dunkel, aber mit neu renoviertem Bad. Frühstück war o.k., aber etwas drängelig. Liegt etwas zu weit entfernt für Tagestouren in den Yosemite. Der poll ist eher ein Kinderbecken.

Wir haben dort nur eine Nacht übernachtet. Dafür war es völlig in Ordnung. Unser Zimmer hatte sogar einen Balkon !

Abgetakeltes Motel, das mit der Nähe zum Yosemite-National-Park wirbt. Der ist aber 30 mls entfernt und es gibt in Mariposa und Oakhurst ausreichend Hotelkapazitäten. Unser Zimmer war zur Westseite, auf die ununterbrochen laufende Klimaanlage des 10 m. gegenüberliegenden Supermarktes ausgerichtet. Dadurch war weder die Balkon-Nutzung möglich noch konte […] man das Fenster nachts geöffnet lassen. Im Zimmer war das Waschbecken (unhygienisch), Dusche und Toilette im abgetrennten Raum. Frühstück im Giftshop-Lobby-Bereich, Tische und Stühle abgenutzt und schmuddelig, wenig einladend. Fazit: Unser Aufenthalt hier war ein Fehler. . Mehr

Motel mit sehr einfachem Frühstück und guter Lage

Ich habe 3 Nächte im Miners Inn verbracht. Das Zimmer an sich war ok, wenn auch ein bißchen piefig und ein klein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, Das Hauptproblem war die Hellhörigkeit: meine Zimmer hatte eine (sehr dünne!) Verbindungstür zum Nebenzimmer, so das ich jedes Wort, das dort gesprochen wurde mitbekommen habe. Auch die Schritte aus dem Zimmer […] aus dem Stockwerk drüber waren deutlich zu hören. Daher habe ich insgesamt wenig und schlecht geschlafen und war froh, als ich wieder weg war. Außerdem war das Frühstück sehr bescheiden und die Damen an der Rezeption mindestens hemdsärmelig wenn nicht gar unfreundlich, Und schließlich; Wer zum Yosemite will, sollte möglichst nahe am Park - oder besser im Park - übernachten. Die Fahrerei von und nach Mariposa macht wirklich keinen Spass! Mehr

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Miners Inn. Dafür wars ok, Zimmer sauber, die Wände allerdings hauchdünn (unsere Nachbarin hatte die ganze Nach "Spass"). Zum Yosemite sinds immer noch fast eine Stunde zu fahren und für den Preis (gut, Hochsaison) und das was man bekommt ist es nicht zum weiterempfehlen. More affordable than IN Yosemite

This motel has a great "feel"--my partner and I both liked the ambience very much. Very extensive free breakfast--waffles etc.--in the morning.

Enjoyed the stay here. Helpful staff, great location. Plan to return.

Our room was extremely comfortable and large. After a long day, enjoyed the jacuzzi tub that two people could actaully fit into. Bed was comfortable, as was the furniture. Breakfast was decent too with a full offering of juices, fruits and grains.. The office looks to be undergoing remodeling, but everything was working and the staff was pleasant and […] efficient. The holel was nice and comfortable. The only thing that bothered us was the you could hear the footstep of the people on the second flor.

Best motel during my 10-day roadtrip. Spacious, with adequate electrical outlets, friendly service, and accessibility. The heater/AC unit was pretty noisy though.

Friendly staff. Nice room. Very poorly insulated walls separating rooms. Almost called management around midnight when occupants of adjacent room began arguing - or talking excitedly - in a language I did not understand. (And perhaps that was a good thing.) Also wish I'd thought to ask for an extra blanket (though could have taken one off the 2nd bed […] in the room). Continental breakfast was good. Enjoyed the perfect waffles made in the almost fool-proof waffle iron. Mehr

The check in office smelled like cigarette smoke, the smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night and NO one came to turn it off or even investigate, we had to call the office to have it turned off.. they said it happens all the time. The hotel is under remodelling and the breakfast was in one room the eating area in another and no one seemed to […] care there was no place to put trash after we ate so people just left it on the few tables available. The hotel is undergoing renovation. The upgraded room with a King bed and bath jacuzzi was great. The bath jacuzzi is large enough for 2 adults (with extra space to spare). The restaurant, within walking distance, is very good and very reasonable. Their pool is large. Unfortunately, it is outside and only opened part of the year. I would definitely […] stay there again. My only suggestion would be to have either a DVD player in the rooms or the capability to have pay per view. Mehr

This hotel is good value at the edge of a friendly, funky little town. Don't expect the ritz but it is good value for money. Free parking and wi fi. Breakfast is also free but didnt look very nice. Only thing the town lacks is a choice of good restaurants

Biggest problem was no internet service. Front desk said they would call for service, but in the meantime we had to go to a restaurant down the street to use WiFi. They were renovating and there was no lobby or brekfast room. We had to carry our breakfast across the parking lot and up a flight of stairs to eat it. The room itself was nice with a new […] fridge, microwave and TV. It took me awhile to figure out the heating system. The lock to the room did not work and we had to use the chain. Mehr

Great Location, very clean, and a great staff.

I stayed there two days to visit yosemite and enjoyed the large, well equiped room... ...the lobby was being renovated and the workers were asked for a time out while we registered. The breakfast was very good for a continental breakfast the room was clean and large. I would go back

i loved this hotel and location

This was our second stay at the Miner's Inn and it is our go-to hotel if you're visiting Yosemite. The best part about this hotel is the breakfast - they have an awesome buffet in the morning with a lovely variety of breakfast foods to start your day off right! The beds are comfortable and the surrounding area has a few great restaurants to choose from […] as well. The price can't be beat - and we were not disappointed with what we got for the money! We were going to Yosemite for only one day, so we didn't mind staying 45 minutes outside the park. The price was terrific, especially since they really do have an excellent breakfast, including waffles! The sound bleed from the next room was the one downfall of the hotel. The connecting door made it such that it seemed the people next door were in the […] same room. But if you luck out with quiet people next door, it's a great place to crash. Mehr

Miners hotel was great for the value. It was a 15 min. short walk to down town, eat at Savorys, and we went to live band at the lounge next to the hotel. Quite, relaxing, convenient.

good hotel lovely place

Rooms 130 and 132, i don't know about others, are separeted by a thin locked door. No sound isolation at all!! One can hear a whisper, cough, fart from another. We were a specially lucky - there were kids! They come late at night, so we did not have a chance to change rooms. That was a terrific travel experience.

The room is clean and the staffs are friendly. Nice place.

Generally a decent place, but with a few caveats. First, the walls are thin and it's quite easy to hear casual activity in adjacent rooms. We had the fortune of an extended family with two babies next door. Plenty of noise and commotion came our way until they finally settled down well after 10pm. The ventilation can be put on fan-only for a source […] of masking noise, but that only works to a partial degree. Second, the wi-fi was very flakey and unreliable -- strong signal but ongoing router or server problems both nights we were there. That made for a very frustrating experience to try even minor internet use. And third, the breakfast bar was rather crowded and not very well organized. Mehr

The staff was helpful & friendly. The breakfast was warm & filling. Most of all, the cell phone reception is better than hotels at the south end of town!

The beds, fridge and bathroom were super clean. Service was friendly and the continental breakfast was great. Only small issues like slow wifi, and noise andd light from nearby riteaid. The heater was alittle difficult either fulll blast or not enough but still an excellent value during the off season

Friendly, courteous staff. Clean, spacious rooms. Excellent value and reasonably close to Yosemite. Lounge food (dinner) was nicely prepared. Continental breakfast was good. The internet connection was not good, though. We'd definitely stay there again.

Hotel is really good.Just that it is bit far from Yosemite National Park.

The Miner's Hotel staff was very helpful. My first accommodations there were sub- par . They kindly moved me to a better room and upgraded me with no extra charge after I point out the problem. The new accommodations were lovely. They had a nice continental breakfast in the morning.

Unfortunately the overall quality of this hotel, which really isn't too bad, was completely marred by the multiple large stains on the hallway carpet. They sent my husband into a fit of laughter trying to guess how they got there. It was also a little inconvenient to check in across the parking lot in a separate building where breakfast was served. […] Breakfast was strictly continental as the waffle machine was unable to make a waffle that wouldn't stick in the pan. However, this was the cheapest stay in town, the reservationist was most pleasant, and the shower worked just fine. Mehr

Quaint motel, really friendly service, room a little dated, but very comfortable all the same. Good breakfast and an excellent location to visit Yosemite National Park. Would recommend.
