Excellent Resort that is close to everything and is very clean. The Staff is very helpful and nice.

Nice property. Unlike other reviewers, we were never hounded to attend a time share.

Loved the room, great location,attentive staff. The only problem and to us, a deal breaker, was that our only windows faced the garbage and recycling station. Great place with major design flaw.

Very nice pools - outstanding views - out of downtown Sedona - we will go back

The room was clean with large bathroom and kitchen with microwave and full size refrigerator. No stove. There is a room to do laundry near the office. One thing we did not like, they don't use fitted sheets so we were constantly adjusting the bottom sheet. Not good if you move around in your sleep. We payed for 2 days of Internet but it was spotty service. […] The resort is about 6 miles from Sedona but the drive is so beautiful you never tire of it. Mehr

We rented a studio which had a little kitchen area with all the things you need for cooking! The room was very clean and the bathroom was very roomy. The hotel is not in Sedona but not too far and very close to Bell Rock. We would like to go back there again.

Hand in hand, everything was great. Great place, great golf.

We rented a studio - I wasn't sure exactly what "studio" would mean in the context of the resort, but it was what we'd hoped - a fairly spacious single bedroom with a small kitchen and very large bathroom (shower not tub). We enjoyed our room. Front desk was courteous The hotel complex was in very good condition overall, seemed new-ish to me. Our […] room was very clean and fresh - very comfortable for what we needed. Plenty of space to move about. The fitness center was open 24hrs only annoyance for us: 7 bucks for 24hr internet access. Come on. Free wifi! I have no comments on the surrounding neighborhood as we spent our short time in sedona. Mehr

Wonderful Place to stay

Everything about this vacation stay resort was great! Staff, room, setting, views - wonderful.

Great roomy hotel, amazing facilities, full stocked kitchen was convenient (dining table for 4, dish washer, microwave, stovetop, coffee maker, full sized fridge, pots, pans, glasses, etc. etc.) Only downside is that it is a little out of sedona so poor cell phone reception. i could only make calls by going into the parking lot and sitting in the car […] to stay warm. Also there is no free wi-fi in the rooms. It's perfect for wanting to get away, but was a little convenient. Mehr

We got a free upgrade to a king suite. Spacious room. Kids enjoyed the wildlife they saw outside. Tv's were the old CRTs but nobody really watches tv except the early morning sponge bob.

The hotel is really nice. The studio is cery cozy and comfortable. Lots of parking in fromt of the room. Near great trails. The only thing i disnt like is the distance to uptown sedona. But the road to uptown has a nice scenic view. Great hotel and will be back there again.

Excellent place to stay...Good service...Close to the Golf facility...Easy access. Highly Recommend it.

Excellent Resort. A little bit far away from town of Sedona, but does not really matter. Apart from the upselling they try to do to make you attend their timeshare presentation, everything else is great.

This resort was a beautiful place--tons of room, beautiful space and a balcony. The bathroom and fireplace were super fabulous! If you are in the area this is an excellent choice!

Room was large and beautiful. Check in was quick and easy. I did not get the "welcome pack" so the time share program was not mentioned at all. Be aware that there is no daily housekeeping service but that was not a problem for me. Would be nice if they had a full sized ironing board (instead of a mini one that you sit on a table) and better water pressure […] in the shower (water saving or not, if you can't rinse easily the shower takes longer!!). Surrounding area is SO beautiful. I would stay here again. Mehr

we liked out hotel but, at a nearby shop, we were cornered by a salesperson who in a very round-about way tried to tell us he could get our room paid if we: paid him $20 and spent an hour and 1/2 the next day touring a new resort at a sister location. He was pushy and in the end, rude.

My husband and I recently went to Sedona for 2 nights. I was hesitant to stay here only because the other reviews had talked about the time share push. EXCEPT, not once did they ask us to stay for a meeting or push any time share on us. We didn't even hear a word about time share. They were very nice and our stay in Sedona was very pleasant :)

Need to update tv. Had to call maintenance twice to rig DVD player so it would work. Need to finish out upgrading the remaining rooms. Bed and linens were very comfortable.

Stayed 2 nights but wished we'd booked for longer. The resort is in Oak Creek village, a 5-6 mile drive to central Sedona. Very comfortable first class accomodation with all expected facilties. Free use of internet at reception with complimentary coffee/ tea available. We were offered the sales tour which we declined and there was absolutely no pressure […] applied. No restaurant at hotel but plenty nearby with shopping (including an outlet mall) and golf available in the vicinity. Would definitely recommend on basis of value for money and quality. Mehr

Other than trying to get you to do a timeshare tour, this place is great. We stayed in Bldg 15 and had a direct view of Bell Rock over the golf course. The rooms are big and comfortable.

Went there for my birthday, had a great one night stay very nice place for the money

Did not like the attempt at the hard sale. It seems you can't visit a resort type hotel without being asked to attend one of there high pressure (they tell you it's not) sales tactics. We had to tell the lady several times we weren't interested before she stopped. That was the only downside to the whole experince. Everything was really great with the resort except for the beds - especially the pillows. Spend a little extra and get some goose down pillows and maybe a goose down mattress pad. You might want to check out the beds in the nearby Hilton Hotel - now that's are "goose down" heaven.

Husband & I only stayed 1 night but it was quiet, beautiful surroundings, suite/studio had everything we needed. Pool was a little dirty but most likely because of the windy days they had. Only frustration was the AC dripping all night. Still, would love to go back and stay a week when we get a good deal!

It is an awesome place to get away. To eat you have to drive back into Sedona. Staff was nice. Our key would not work, we had to drive all the way to the main building to have it fixed. The pool was nice and relaxing. I would definately go back, but better preapred. O' yeh, you have to clean up after your self, if not they charge you.

My room a was very clean and spacious. I can't believe how beautiful the view was from my room, (mountains and golf coarse). I did not use the pool but I saw lots of other guests enjoying them. The live entertainment was really great too. The gym had lots to offer and was also spacious. The staff was very professional and made me feel like I was part […] of their family. Mehr

We have stayed here before and again a great stay. I wish it was a little closer to the main part of town but knew exactly where it was located. It was beautiful and peaceful like always. We met a few people while at the pool and everyone was very friendly. If I were a golfer I would have loved to go out on the beautiful greens that my room backed up […] to. All the comforts of home at an excellent price....highly recommend...serene, peaceful, and beautiful. This is a time share resort but we declined the sales presentation and was not pressured in any way. This property should be star rated higher than posted.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Ridge Resort. My room was very comfortable for my family of four. Mom loved the big bath tub. I can’t wait to go back. They did ask if I wanted to attend a 90min class for a free stay. I declined do to it being our family vacation but may be interested in the class in the future only because I loved the Resort […] . I'm not sure why these people are allowed to post rooms on "hotels.com" when this is a time share. I thought they were going to chase me to my car when I said I didn't want a "welcome packet". In addition there is no service here. If you stay in one of the studios you have to do your own dishes!! They have a laundry list of things you have to do before […] you check out as well as a restriction on the temperature in your room. It's like they are doing you a favor letting you pay to stay . Unfortunately my husband booked this and he doesn't read the reviews on hotels.com. before he books a room. I think this taught him a lesson. Mehr

Nice place. We were in a room that had not been upgraded so it was a little out dated. (Very unconfortable sofa bed, my kids slept on the floor!) Do nit due the "90" min. sales tour, it takes more like 3 hours!

Very nice condo unit, reasonably priced. The location was a little farther from Sedona than we would have liked, but the trade off was the beautiful surroundings. We will return!

Because this facility had some very poor reviews on Hotels.com. I asked for the renovated room and was turned down. The room was in poor condition - dirty floors (our clean socks were black within minutes), lumpy, uncomfortable mattress, 6 out of 8 outlets not working in the kitchen, one stove top burner not working, leak under bathroom sink, loose […] tub faucet, ripped couch pillows and curtains, mildew smell in bathroom and laundry room, broken drawer in living room, broken screen on patio door, loose ceiling fan, and only one chair on the patio. We complained about these things and were told we could move. We chose not to move because of the amount of work and time that would entail with two young children on a fairly short trip. We were also told they couldn't possibly know about these things unless we told them. Maybe, they should have a maintenance team to check the rooms or have one of their employees stay in a room every now and then. This is the worst time share I have ever stayed in and I have a difficult time imagining that anyone would purchase a timeshare at this facility. It was also the worst value for my money. This was the first time I every stayed at a Golf Resort and would definitely stay at one again. The cleanliness of the rooms with everything being top notch is well worth the money.

The room was dated. A picture that was supposed to be over the couch was missing and there was a dent in the wall. wall paper in the shower was peeling. wheel fell off in the dishwasher... learned later that these rooms are not part of the Diamond owned resort -- they are only rented to the public until they are upgraded. nice size unit, but not such […] a great deal.
