Mariner Motor Lodge - West Yarmouth

We enjoyed our stay very much. Only thing was we were given a room on the second floor way in the back of the motel. We had requested a first floor room because I have trouble walking up and down the stair and our request wasn't honored. It was vacation week when we stayed so they had activities for the kids. But the hotel was a little run down and when I could not get online, I was simply told they could not help, if I had the 30 character pass code I should be able to get on.

Only needed a place to sleep for one night so it fulfilled the purpose - clean & convenient. We were on the side with the outside pool (pool was closed) and the lights were on all night. I use the daylight to wake me but we had to keep the drapes closed & slept later than intended. Also, there was no elevator. The Lodge was only 2 floors but if was […] difficult for my partner to do the stairs. If we were staying more than one night would have had to change rooms...or motel. Mehr

Not a fancy place to stay, but well worth the price and conveniently located in Cape Cod. I could have picked another hotel closer to my destination and paid 4-times the price, but I went with this one and was happy to stay here. Mariner Motor lodge might be rated as a 2-star hotel, but it is the top of the 2-star category.

We only stayed for one night, but the motel was quiet and clean and had more than ample amount of room. The bed did seem a bit uncomfortable, but I think it was more the type of mattress pad that was on the bed. Also, all of the pillows were too big. Each room should have at least one pillow that is smaller. All in all, a clean place to stay.

the desk personnel was very helpfull with any questions we had, and the pool was heated to a very comfortable warmth

This motel exceeded all expections while on vacation there during the Labor Day weekend. The motel offered so much. The heated indoor and outdoor pools awesome! The free mini golf fantastic, and discount on area restaurants great. Overall an excellent stay. My family and I will be planning to stay next year.

Does not have microwave.. No proper internet ..

We stayed here for 4 nights in August mainly because of the price. The rooms are ok but could do with updating as could much of the communal areas. Our daughter did enjoy both pools and the indoor pool was a real bonus on the day it rained but the water did seem a little murky! It is in a convenient location for restaurants and multiple mini golf courses […] and only a few minutes drive to Hyannis but we paid less money for much better hotels on this trip - you are paying to be on Cape Cod and in hindsight we would probably rather have paid a little bit more for a nicer hotel. The perfect place to stay for a night or two (or more), We stayed one night until the house we rented was available, The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. An indoor and an outdoor pool are both in good condition anf the pool is adults only from 10 PM until Midnight. Coffee room, game room. An old fashioned Motel with old fashioned service.

Nice Hotel for the money! Helpful staff! It was great having an indoor and outdoor pool! Also the discount for a beach pass was nice!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Motor Lodge is located in the middle of the cape for convenience to all areas. Right on route 28, yet when you are there it feels private and quiet. Enjoyed our vacation at the Mariner Motor Lodge and we are thinking of vacationing there again.

We stayed at the Mariner Motor Lodge after looking through reviews for many other hotels on the Cape. This was our first time to Cape Cod and the reviews sounds pretty good so we went with the Mariner. This hotel is good and worked well for our first trip. It is very close to everything plenty of restaurants, four mini golf places and various other […] attractions. Seagull beach is less than two miles away, $15 to park (were there Thursday and Friday). The beach was nice, good amount of people, quiet water but there was a lot of seaweed. Not sure what was going on with it but it was everywhere. There was a place to rent jet skis and parasail not too far from the hotel either. Lots of restaurant choices. Also very close to main street Hyannis. The hotel was nice and exactly what you would expect from this price range. No surprises here. Overall we had a really good stay and would come back to the Mariner. Mehr

We had a great experience at the Mariner Motor Lodge! The staff was super friendly, we were walking distance to restaurants and shops and close to lots of attractions. We got ample use out of the indoo and outdoor pools as well as the hottub. The bathroom was on the tinier side and the beds werent that comfortable, but overall it was an incredible value […] for the money, a great hotel for kids with minigolf and a play area on site. Really disgusting hotel, would stay very very far away from.

The Mariner is adequate for the price. It seems that all the local motels provide the same level of quality. They only have 1 ice machine, and no elevator, though it has 2 floors. Muscle up if you bring a suitcase. It does provide basic level of motel service. We asked for an extra hour of stay, during checkout, but were denied, yet the day before, […] they told me rooms are available if we wanted an extra night - just no extra hour for free. They have a nice pool, and its close to a beach, small shops, gas station, and general store for coke, milk, etc. They have a small dorm fridge, which was great for cold drinks at anytime, and they serve muffins and coffee in the pool area. Again, its adequate for price, time of year, and location, just dont expect Park Ave living. Mehr

floor felt dirty. noisy neighbourhood - lots of sirens. staff were friendly. no complimentary breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great for the kids with 2 pools, a small playground, and free mini golf. My only complaint was that the pillows were rock hard.... so much so that our 2nd night there I went out and bought myself a new pillow. Besides that I would recommend this place to others.

We stayed for one night with 2 grandchildren. They loved the mini golf and play area. Indoor and outdoor pool was great. You don't have to worry about weather. I would have preferred queen bed to full/double but can manage for a night or two. A mini breakfast was included and that was mini mini as it consisted of only coffee/hot chocolate and blueberry […] muffin. (Muffin was good but choice was lacking. no cereal) but it was free. All help was friendly and no problem getting extra pillows, shampoo, towels. Location was great as it was only one door away from our favorite Pizza place,Takis pizza. I would stay again because the price was extremely reasonable for what we got. Mehr

The motel was as advertised. Clean, quiet, moden. Bathroom was very small, so if you are plus sized or have a disability you may not be able to use the bathroom. Had a refrigerator which was a plus. Facilities were very nice. Easy access point to all Cape areas.

The indoor/outdoor pools are very nice,rain or shine you can still swim!

We had such a great time. The hotel was on the main road, close to things to do, places for food and beaches. Plenty to do in hotel. Min. golf, basketball hoop, in and outdoor pools, suana, games room, breakfast room. We didn't have enough time to do it all. would love to come back.

Everything was good (for the price paid of course). It would be nice if it had a continetal breakfast included (as many hotels have). The rest was very good.

Nice place very clean close to everything easy to find the hotel gave discount coupons to local resteraunts free coffee two pools picnic tables grills swings free mini golf .... Great for families. Basic rooms older model hotel affordable for families

upon arrival we found the staff very friendly and accomodating. they were very informative on all of the questions that we asked. the rooms were very clean and comforable. i would reccomend this motel for families with children as there was plenty of fun activities to keep them occupied. also we found the location very convenient to restaurants and […] shopping. i'm sure we be back for another visit. Basic motel. Clean. Good location. Friendly staff.

The room was very clean. The other reviews are correct though, the bed was not very comfortable. I think it was the pillows. So if you are planning on staying a long time and can swing it, bring your own. We were on on the property for less then 12 hours, but the pools looked clean. I would stay here again if i needed a room for just one or two nights, […] but i would bring my own pillow. Mehr

Exterior of hotel was lovely. Outdoor pool was very nice. Location was great for the beach and shopping. Rooms were clean, but very tired looking; I suppose 'worth' the price we paid. No amenities as compared to other 2 star hotels we've stayed in. I would stay there again, but would request better mattresses. Staff was pleasant.

We found the location of the motel very convenient for shopping, eating, mini golf and the beach. Very nice outdoor pool, indoor pool and hot tub. We also had fun at their free 9 hole mini golf course. The Mariner is a reasonably priced, family friendly motel.

Great family hotel. Two beautiful large pools (one inside and one outside). The facilities staff was constantly monitoring the water cleanliness and ph levels in the water. Hot Tub was fun. Beds / mattresses need to be updated. Great overall hotel for family / kids.

This is a great hotel that packs a punch for your dollar. The rooms were a typical hotel room, clean, and had a fridge. The hotel is on a busy road--along with a ton of other similar hotels--but this also makes it within walking distance of many amenities, among them restaurants and a Christmas Tree Shoppe (for anything you may have left at home!) The […] pools, both indoor and out, were clean and very warm. The grille area was next to the pool, clean, and utensils were available at the desk. The grounds also boast a darling 9-hole mini-golf that was a huge hit with our kids. All in all, we will definitely stay here again. Can't beat it for the price on the Cape. Mehr

This is definitely a 2 star hotel but leaning towards 3. It's an older property but well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location excellent. There are excellent facilities for families... a playground, 2 swimming pools, both indoors and outdoors, and a small miniature golf course (no charge for the miniature golf). Very nice lodging especially for families. Desk staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the free 9 hole mini golf, the hot tub, indoor and outdoor pools and the convenient light breakfast offerings with the very nice server. Great beaches very nearby as well. Not world class but definately "Cape Cod" nice!! Would stay there again!

I like this hotel, there is pool inside, pool outside , barbecue area , nice stuff, clean room, complimentary tea and coffee close to the beach and restaurants , what else I can wish for this price .

The motel is a plain motel. When considering this motel, remember most of the motels around this area are not your fancy 3 and 4 star hotels. They had a lot for kids to do which included indoor/ outdoor pool and minature golf. The breakfast is not complimentary. You will have to pay for toast, bagels, etc. Go to Dunkin Donuts down the street and get […] their coffee and egg sandwiches. The coffee here is terrible. This is an average hotel pretty close (driving distance) to most restaurants, shops and a grocery store. There is a nice indoor pool but there is an age restriction past 10 p.m. Our 14 year old daughter, accompanied by both parents, had to get out of the pool at 10 p.m. The main floor rooms have a sliding door to the parking lot-allowing easy access […] to your vehicle. Unfortunately, there were some drunken partiers staying down our way using the area outside of ther room as a personal patio area. The bathroom is small and I can see that a larger person would have difficulty moving around in there! The rooms are smoke free but our room had a strong cigarette smoke odour as we entered. The ceiling had an odd plastering job and the furnishings were basic. We did enjoy having a mini fridge, as did our beer-swilling neighbours, I bet! The internet was not accessible unless we sat by the pool or the table area midway on the main floor. The staff were nice and friendly. One lady was able to answer our travel questions in detail. All-in-all, I guess you get what you pay for. As far as giving a recomendation-I wouldn't unless I knew the person wasn't looking for anything special and didn't mind the incoveniences. Mehr

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and friendly staff at this location. Our visit was merely to crash for the night before heading on the early morning ferry to Martha's Vineyard. We ended up enjoying the pools and mini golf course on site. Our only concern, the indoor pool was rather warm temperature. Great value for the price!
