Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Positiv war auch, dass es sehr viele kostenlose Extras gab

Leider, leider war um 05.00 Uhr ein riesen Lärm von der Küchenmannschaft, die Café machte, Milch wärmte und vorbereitete für den Tag. Da die Türen zum Swimmingpool offen waren hörte man alles sehr gut, auch das ordnen der Liegestühle etc. Sonst sind wir zufrieden. Aber dieser Nachtlärm hat uns enorm gestört.

We stayed at this hotel one night during Semana Santa - the week before Easter. We booked the hotel online the morning before we checked in. It was a great find. We spent the afternoon on Gibraltar and the evening in the quaint town of La Linea de la Concepcion. We had a fabulous time and would recommend the experience to others.

Stayed here for two night. I didn't see a single guest. I think I had the place to myself so slept like a baby. The place is beginning to look its age but it's clean and comfortable and you get a decent night s sleep. The rooms are warm and cozy.

If you are planning to visit Gibraltar this hotel offers a location that is a short walk to the entrance point. My smallish room had a balcony with a great view. The front desk personnel were very helpful. There was an old fashioned TV. Good and free internet service in the spacious lobby. Street parking is available in the offseason. You may not like […] the saloon style (swings open) bathroom door that does not lock closed. There is a mini bar with free water & soft drinks in the room and in the lobby. It's a short walk to the center of the rather unremarkable town. Skip the BLAND Chinese restaurant (on the way to Gibraltar) and try the outside area of the white color restaurant a few blocks past it. In summary, you could do much worst in the price range. Mehr

I have stayed at the AC many times and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We stayed in 5 hotels from Malaga to Gibraltar, the AC was by far the best of the group. If you are going to Gibraltar I highly recommend staying there and walking into Gibraltar. Traffic is terrible and there is no parking. You can walk to Gibraltar from the hotel, about 15 minutes or take a taxi. 3 or 4 Euros. My sister stayed at this hotel and said that it was very professionally run and more suited to business types so she felt as there where many males using computers! She loved the location saying that the beach was over the road but due to her husband having dodgy knees struggled a bit with the walking etc. They did not take the breakfast option as […] they told me it was quite expensive but being near the town they ate there although it is mainly Spanish and my brother in law ordered octopus thinking it was chicken for his breakfast. Overall I felt that they really enjoyed the very av-ant garde interior of the hotel saying that the rooms where amazing very modern and state of the arch. The coffee was free but you had to climb stairs to bring it up to the rooms and the swimming pool was not open but was overlooked by some local flats. Mehr

Hotel and room spotless. Room very comfortable. Free wifi very useful. Pool area shut - receptionist explained that the summer season had finished two days earlier (this was 17th Sept) despite the temp outside being 30 deg and sun blistering. So nowhere to sit outside to drink the free coffee available. Nearby beach had poor quality grit,gravel and […] dirt. Walk inland felt like being in a rundown shantytown - stay on the seafront. Staff all ok but lacked sparkle and offerred little info unless specifically asked. Did not have breakfast after reading other reviews. Food seemed expensive for what it was e.g. beefburger more expensive here than in best hotel in Gibraltar. Hotel did not really try to promote an in house dining experience which is sad as there is little else nearby. Never yet found solarium or fitness room. Overall good for price but so much room for improvement - get your fingers out Marriot guys! Mehr

The hotel is nicely furnished and offers a very pleasant place to stay close to the border with Gibraltar. Staff are friendly and speak English. Free cold drinks and beverages were much appreciated.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. The only criticism we had was the state of the balcony attached to our room. it obviusly hadn't been swept/cleaned in a while as there was a thick layer of dust and dirt on the floor and window sills. We would have also appreciated some seating on the balcony, i.e. a couple of plastic chairs. The room and bathroom […] were clean and pleasant and the staff were courteous and helpful. Very impressed with the quality of this hotel,everything was !st class! Receptionists spoke English and were helpful and courteous.I had booked an superior room for 3 nights and added an extra night at the start in a standard room-I was put in a superior room for the extra night at no extra cost! This hotel was a good choice. Close enough to the rock to walk but suggest a cab. The walk is 1/2 hour-not 10 minutes as staff say. The cab is under 4 euros and well worth it. save your energy for the 45-1 hour bus trek up through the city and the long line to get the lift to the rock's peak. get your tickets beforehand to avoid the line. anyway, the […] hotel is clean, refreshing and well worth any price. Amazing hotel for the price we paid. Included were a little travel comb, toothpaste and razor. The drinks ( non alcoholic) in the mini bar were free too. A 20 minute walk brings you to Gibraltar

hotel was clean and modern and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, cereal and pastries and the usual cold meats and cheese you would expect for spain. the area around is not great but is unfortunately typical for la linea. There is no bar at the hotel and none nearby but you can order a drink from the lounge or room service but is expensive. the lounge […] is more like a waiting room. good for business travel or as an short stay if traveling along the coast with a stop in gibraltar. Pool is disapointing and not very inviting in a courtyard surrounded by high walls and not much sun during the day. Getting in/out of Gibraltar by car is an absolute nightmare so better to do the 20 min walk and get straight through on foot. if visiting Gibraltar for a few days you may be best staying at a hotel in Gibraltar. The staff was friendly. It was at least a 20 min. Walk into town and the crossing to Gibraltar but we knew that when we reserved. Our first room was nice but smelled awful. When I asked about the smell the front desk immediately moved us to a different room that was fine. The included breakfast was nice.

I found this hotel to be very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff members were all very friendly and helpful to a first time traveller to that area. The hotel is located a little off the major traffic areas, but it was not a very far walk to the plaza or several restaurants. This is a good find.

For cleanliness and comfort you cannot go wrong with the AC. The staff are kind and helpful and the location is ideal. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the centre of La Linea and about 20 to the Gibraltar checkpoint. So the quiet area makes for a great nights sleep. There are one or two local bars and cafes in the area and the beach is a 5 minute walk. […] The views from the front of the hotel are fantastic. This hotel is also a good base for exploring the whole of Costa de la Luz by bus or car. Free mini bar in the hotel rooms and hot or soft drinks in the bar are a real bonus and the pool is lovely. A real nice hotel in a good location, our room had sea views towards Gibraltar, could not have been better. Various staff at reception all spoke English well and were always pleasant and helpfull. We always found parking close by which was good. Room was cleaned daily and fridge stocked daily with cold drinks which was a nice bonus. Cant really fault […] the place at all, everything we wanted and expected, so top marks to the AC and all at a very good price. Thanks to all staff, hope to be back again someday !!!! Mehr

We enjoyed our stay here. The view from the window over the bay were perfect. Walking to Gibraltar along the sea front took about 20mins and was a pleasure. Can't fault the hotel in any way, would recommend to anybody.

The AC la Linea was clean and well appointed, however it is in a none tourist area approx 20 min walk from the gibraltar frontier. Helpful staff and a really clean hotel make it a pleasent stay.

Great staff, comfort, cleanliness and location. It is a 20 minute stroll to the centre of town or Gibraltar but just 5 minutes or so by car. A quiet location makes for a good nights sleep. It is convenient for touring the whole coast which is beautiful. Added bonuses are the free tea and coffee in the bar and soft drinks or water in the hotel rooms. […] The pool opens in June and is lovely. I highly recommend this hotel to all travellers. The room was very big, great balcony with beautiful views and and a quick 15 minute walk along the water to Gibraltar. The things I didn't like (but wouldn't keep me away) are that the front desk wasn't helpful with restaurant recommendations or things to do during the day. They didn't have any maps (outside of La Linea which I found wasn't accurate) […] and no menus for us to look at. Can't they partner with some local restaurants so we can see menus before we go? Also they might suggest La Marina by the water for dinner but I suggest you stay away. Mehr

We decided to stay at this hotel on our journey around Spain, as we were getting married in Gibraltar the next day at 11am. The hotel was probably about 2 km from the Gibraltar border (you could walk it). Parking at this hotel was easy (perhaps as it was not quite the season) we parked right outside and gave our number plate to the reception as we were […] in the yellow section, which was OK for the hotel. This was a very modern looking hotel with modern features, which is definitely the type of hotel I like to stay in. The reception area was gorgeous, modern and clean, the hotel smell was lovely throughout the complex. We were told that Wi-Fi was Free in the lobby/lounge area, although you could pay for access if you wanted it in your room. As it turned out I liked the idea of sitting downstairs in the business/lounge/eating area for the internet as they provided free drinks (cold and hot) they had a nespresso machine there, so you could make as many as you wanted, or hot water for teas etc. We were also told that the mini bar in our room was complimentary, so that was definitely a nice touch. If you wanted you could get drinks from downstairs and take them in to your room and re-stock your fridge if needed. Our room was exactly as I would expect, looking at the way the hotel lobby was built. The bed was really comfortable with lovely pillows and a comfortable mattress. The bathroom was completely modern with glass sinks and a wonderful shower, powerful and hot.. They provide a great starter pack in the bathroom (comb, toothpaste, shower gel etc). Our room overlooked the water, so we could see The Rock of Gibraltar from our window/balcony and the Med. The Wi-Fi always worked and it was fast. We did not eat at the hotel. I looked at the breakfast and it looked nice, but we wanted to eat outside of the hotel the next morning. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, in this area and anywhere else that I can find them. They are in Spain, Italy and somewhere else. I wo Mehr

We have stayed at this hotel several times and the standards are excellent. Friendly, helpful staff and clean, modern facilities make for a very pleasant stay. The mini bar for water and soft drinks is free and complimentary hot drinks are in the bar. It wasn't warm enough to use the pool this time but its a bonus during the spring/summer. Gibraltar […] is a good 20 minute walk but usually takes 5-10 minutes by car. The hotel can also organise trips to Tangier. Highly recommoded! Mehr

A pleasant stay, just a 5 minute taxi ride from Gibralta. The free mini bar, free coffee facilities and free wi-fi were welcome surprises. The dinner menu is a little expensive and choice limited. Overall, great value for money.

Very good, clean hotel with excellent views of the Rock overlooking the bay,Surrounding area a bit run down,Good local bars (very Spanish not much comfort)close by for late drinks and early coffee if not booked for breakfast.and "menu de dia €4.00" As food and drink quite expensive on the rock. Just wish our fellow guest would remove her high heels […] when she got in at 1 AM. Be prepared to que up for quite some time going to and fro to rock if driving. Mehr

The hotel is on the Spanish side very close to the border into Gibraltar. We found our en-suite room large, clean, with balcony from which we had an excellent view of the Rock and harbour. A fairly modern hotel, the room and bathroom were spotless, the bedding and towels fresh and crisp. a lot of complimentary toiletteries, as well as complimentary […] soft drinks in the fridge. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was fairly basic but plentiful. No tea, but the staff were happy to oblige and supply it on request. All in all more than happy to recommend this hotel to anyone, and we would certainly go back there ourselves. Mehr

Nice room for the price, great view over the bay from our balcony. Staff were polite and helpfull also spoke english. 20-25min walk to Gibralter along the sea front, 10min from the centre of La Linea.

If you don't want to stay in Gib as it's too expensive try this one. free wifi that is fast in the lobby, free mini bar. The room wasn't tiny, firm bed, desk,m chair, fridge, place to put your luggage and wardrobe. Not close to resturants, but close to bus stop if you are on foot. I would stay here again.

Stayed two nights and it did everything we expected. It's like a 5 star tavel lodge - and I mean that positively. Free mini bar drinks and afternoon rerfreshments are a nice touch. A bit further out than the Iberostar but an easy walk to the centre. Buses go 100yds from front door.

The address is abit misleading as you do have to cross the border to Spain. Do not panic a quick left and a nice mile walk along the beach and the hotel can be found. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and suited my own needs very well.
