"Close to the site we were there to visit"
It was very pleasant and I would stay again if the need arose. Only downfall I can comment on is, the jets in the spa did not work.

Our stay was just a quick one night getaway. We were married in Osky that day and just wanted to stay some place other then home! The room was perfect! The only thing i recomend is more pillows on a king size bed! The breakfast room is pretty small so we didnt stay and eat breakfast. THe bed was very comfortable.
Would definately stay at a Baymont hotel again.

"Odd Smell but tolerable"
Nice staff and very helpful. Hotel has odd but tolerable smell. It's almost a curry and Christmas spice type smell throughout the halls and lobby. The side door that needed key for entrance was broken so, no key was needed as it was left unsecure. Breakfast was a push as it's included with room and I didn't have to pay. I went to Smokey Row on the square […] for quality coffee and breakfast. Easy access to HWY 163 and a straight shot to Des Moines. Mehr

The breakfast food was not good. When we had a plugged toilet, the staff responded and fixed the problem very quickly. That was appreciated. We found one roach in our room.

"Baymont Inn in Pella, Iowa"
Nice facility and well located in the community with easy access to the downtown and on - off highway ramps. Clean and quiet!
The first room we had the air conditioner quit working. The second room we moved to; the door did not latch and smelt like cigarette smoke and the hotel is non smoking!!We had to move to a 3rd room that was much better!! The front desk tried to make the rest of our stay as comfortable as possible but could not refund us anything for our inconviences […] because we booked our stay on-line. Mehr
"In the middle of no where, but not really"
Not much to say about this hotel, which is a good thing when it is a place to stay when you're in town on business and not your destination. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and it is only a half hour or so from Iowa Speedway, which seems to be far enough for you not to be hit with "event pricing", at least not for the IndyCar weekend. "only complaint"
when we went to check out we had to wait for about ten minutes for someone to come help us. we rang the bell several times and tried calling on the house phone. Finally a woman sitting outside smoking came in to help us.

Chek in was at 3PM at 3:30 I was still waiting. When they gave me my key I went to the room and the beds were not made and the room was trashed. She then assigned me to another room upstairs, when I got my bags upstairs and was getting comfortable she called up and said she could not put me in the room. Once again I made another trip to the loby and […] she gave me another room. I finaly was able to relax. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody. Mehr
"Close to relatives"
This motel was close to all the places that we wanted to go and see. It was convenient to the highway and easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Facility has improved since stayed there last year. New management has improved the overall experience. Only disappointment was had to wait to check in about 20 minutes, minor inconvenience.

This hotel had lazy people working in it. all we saw 1 do for 6 hrs was watch tv. I know this cause we were swimming and could see him the whole time. Ran out of pool towels, had no clean rooms and would not clean more,mold was growing in our bathroom,Ice machine was broke and no one fixed so some one took top off and had to fish for ice, wanted coffee […] from loby and they had none or I should say what was there was cold. The staff was helpful, the hotel was convenient to Pella and the surrounding towns. We enjoyed the ammenities.
