it is not in the center of the city, but right next to the airport. There is nothing aorund walking distance, but with a car it is very convenient for you avoid downtown hustle and it is a 5 minutes drive to the city; it has a restaurant attached to it. Hotel is nice and at the usual standards for the chain.

Very clean room!! Very helpful front desk person, nice breakfast. Only complaint - THIN WALLS! I could hear the tv in the next room and so I was paranoid the whole time about my kids in the room. Super comfortable beds and like I said clean room.

The hotel is located right beside Reading Airport, very easy to find. The area is quiet and serene. Short walk to airport resteraunt but 15 minute drive to "strip" for other resteraunts and local shopping. Twenty minute drive to Reading Outlets (town traffic) and half hour drive to Lancaster outlets (highway drive). Large rooms are impeccable!! Cleaning […] staff is friendly and helpful. Rates are very comptetive for the area. Have stayed here every year for past three years and will continue to do so!! When checking out, front desk staff was preparting paperwork for others who were eating breaksfast, packing room, etc. Three of us waited in line until that paper work was done. My suggestion to front desk, wait on the people standing in front of you and prepare paperwork for others not present when no one else is in line!! Mehr

I you want a nice place for the price ok nothing around but the airport the beds are super soft

This was a great hotel. The room was large, breakfast was great, and it was very quiet especially since it is next to an airport. Would stay there next time we are in town

This hotel was very nice. There is nothing really close by, but everything is within a mile or two. The room was nice, and there was a lot of space. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast they provide was very good. We had no problems, and the staff was very friendly. Was not very nice upon check out...guess it took her away from constantly watching tv and playing on the computer. Told me it was Holiday Inn policy to not EVER give a receipt upon checkout to a customer. Said I got a receipt at the other Holiday Inn Express I stayed at so what policy. This hotel was located just outside of Reading, PA right next to the quiet Reading airport. It was just the spot for a quiet weekend away! My stay was right on the first floor near the on-site gym and breakfast area near the lobby - great location! The breakfast had a good assortment for everyone and the hotel staff filling the station was very friendly […] and helpful! The hotel location was 30 minutes for anything my husband and I wanted to do including Cabela's, wineries, the Yeungling brewery, and many well known eateries. This Holiday Inn Express was very comfortable, clean, and affordable. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The food at the Malibooz Bar and Grill located behind the hotel was very good, and very reasonably priced also. The only downside was the location of this property. Although it was only a short drive into Reading, it was located in an […] industrial area at the Reading airport. Upon check-in the person staffing the front desk was professional and affable. The lobby was clean and bright. I booked 2 rooms 1 for myself and another for another member of our crew. My room was clean and comfortable, with the exception of my frequent nemesis, marshmallow soft pillows. When I called to ask for a firm one, I was met with a condescending […] half laugh and a statement of: 'That's all we have." Awaking with a stiff neck in the morning, I went to the front desk, in an attempt to locate a shopping area. After at least a five minute weight, a young woman, seemingly of high school age begrudgingly, arrived...She had been sitting in the breakfast nook the entire time, and clearly felt imposed upon, being required to do her job. She lackadaisically shoved pre-printed directions to the local shopping mall in my direction and without saying a word, returned to her seat in the breakfast nook, opening what appeared to be a fashion magazine. Incredulously observing this scene, I sarcastically walked over and thanked this young staffer for her "help". Without looking up from this publication she barked "NO Problem" as if it clearly WAS! While I was out, I received a frantic call from my traveling associate, who was staying in another room. Both rooms were pre paid for 2 nights via hotels.com. This young nit-wit was attempting to remove him from his room, paid for through the following day! According to reports from him and other guests, she was banging on the door loudly, and using profanity, and threats to call police. When told the room was paid for, for an additional 24 hours, she steadfastly refused to check the obvious records, barged in with a master key and demanded he leave the room. When I ORDERED her to the phone, she went to check the records and unapologetically huffed, "OH I GUESS YOU ARE RIGHT" and repeated her refrain about "No problem." When I returned to the property, she was sitting on her rear, right where she was when I departed 2 ho Mehr

This hotel was very near and clean and you cannot best the price. Only downfall is there is nothing around to eat/do. But its not far from the main road so its definitely worth it!

The hotel was ok, but there was nothing around it to do. It is perfect if you are flying into or out of the Reading airport, which is right behind the hotel, but not for sight-seeing or visiting the area. The hotel's vending machines were not working and couldn't get water for my 2 small children. We booked 2 rooms together and they were at opposite […] ends of the hall. Very inconvenient with 2 small children and their grandparents when we were constantly back and forth between the rooms. Mehr

The rooms are comfortable, affordable and in a convient location. The rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. I was extremely satified and this is the only place i stay in Reading,Pa.

Enjoyed the hotel accomadations and the location was very convenient to area attractions. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.

I was looking for a 3 star hotel at 2 star prices and this turned out to be a good choice. I was really impressed by how clean my room was made by the cleaning staff. The only reason this hotel doesn't get a perfect score is the bland breakfast they served in the morning. Everything is clean, new, and friendly staff. Great place after a long day.

The location was superb. I had a business appointment early the next morning and it turned out it was only a mile or so from the hotel. Much closer than expected. It was very nice being able to stay in a quality hotel that close to my destination and not have to settle for less quality just for location.
