H10 Itaca - Barcelona

Located to two major train stations (plz Espaya i sans estacion) as well to metro lines, H10 presents the best location that is close to everything but away from the major bustling of the city. At the very moment I gave my name and reservation, I was received with a complimentary glass of Champagne. I stayed for three nights, though I used the location […] sparingly since I was busy absorbing everything Cataluyan--visca Cataluya! I must say that I was very fortunate in finding this hotel. I didn't rent a car but because it is not at the epicenter of Barcelona, it is posible to find parking space around. If you are a walker like me, you'll find the plaza Espaya at a nice walking distance along to the Mntjuic and everthing near. Please spend money on a great map. Get also a metro map. Enjoy your time. Great hotel with decent prices. The beds are a bit firm and the shower is oddly designed but overall would highly recommend this hotel. Close to multiple Metro stops.

Very nice and very helpful receptionists. They do speak good English and willing to help us out with everything...from sightseeing, metro, bus, even print out the boarding passes is free.

Very close to Sants Estacio metro/train station, literally a 2 or 3 minute walk, so easy access to and from airport, to the sights of the city and for those planning trips away from Barcelona by train. Dont be concerned about noise being as the hotel is so close to the trains - there was none. Staff friendly and helpful with excellent English. We stayed […] here on the day of the Spanish national strike and the staff were all present and the service was unaffected. Overall a great hotel for the price paid. the hotel was great and clean. but the room was hot, the location didnt do it for me. it a bit far from the places i wanted to go.. and the metro was in maintenance between pl catal and pl uni.. 3\4 times during my stay (maybe my bad luck) the wifi is free but they gave me password for only one device. i didn't bother to ask again,, H10 is great but […] maybe i'll use H10 casanova next time.. The staff were terrific. The one complaint we made, a clogged sink at 3 in the morning, was taken care of by a front desk person within minutes of our call. The nieghborhood was safe, the super market in the basement was convenient and there was even a small late night market across the street. The train station and subway are a nice 10 minute stroll […] away (if that). The other highpoint is the wonderful buttett breakfast. (We paid 10 euro, I am not sure if that is a off season price but it was quite a value) The low was the room faced the street, there was several broken items like the close hanging reel above the closet, the bidet towel hanger, the electric blind closer and several non working TV channels. We did not complain about these items and since we got the last room in the hotel this maybe just a quirky room they did not plan on renting. The only other complaint would be the desk staff did not read our preference sheet until we checked in (if they had we probably would of got a different room). The truth is the staff make this hotel. The location near plaza espania and the train station is good and most attractions can be reached with about a 15 minute subway ride. One note, once a code for the wifi is used it cannot be used again for another computer, so if you have two laptops that could be an issue. Mehr

My first night there I didn't realise the aircon wasn't on (due to it being November) and I couldn't open the window, because I was on the main road and there was a lot of traffic noise. So I called reception to ask if I could be moved to a room at the rear of the hotel. Don't get me wrong, the rooms are soundproofed, but not if you like the window […] open. They did move me and they moved me to a superior room which was very nice and they sent me a free dessert to my room and didn't charge me for the use of a kettle. It's supposed to be 2 euros a day for a tea/coffee tray with a kettle. They have a nice terrace out the back and a small decked area on the roof with a jaccuzi. Very limited room sevice menu and I didn't eat at the hotel, so I couldn't comment on breakfast or the restaurant. But there's a supermarket next door where I purchased snacks and water, very convenient and cheap!! So don't use their minibar, pop next door and fill the fridge with your own drinks. The hotel is a five minute walk from Sants Estacion, so very convenient for location and accessing all parts of barcelona. I would definately stay here again. Mehr

Had booked standard room, which was very OK for the price. Unfortunately, at 11pm I had to ask for another room because I could not sleep due to overheated room : airconditioning was not working and it was impossible to sleep with windows open due to heavy traffic noise. Reception staff immediately acknowledged that there was a AC issue and that it […] was not possible to manually modify the actual setting that was programmed for "heat" all over the hotel. They quickly found me another (upgraded) room at the back of the hotel, where I was able to sleep with open windows, less noisy. They handled the issue quickly and efficiently. Very nice welcome upon arriving at the hotel, with a glass of cava, nice touch ! Mehr

The Hotel was very clean and offered free internet access. The overall rooms were a nice size and a little above European standards. On a good note, the hotel is closed to a grocery store, which was next door and convenient to the train station that gives you quick access to the tourist bus that you can use to travel throughout the city.

Stayed in the H10 in September 2011. Room was great (on sixth floor) - extremely clean and cleaned every day of our stay. Staff were extremely helpful with any queries we had. Hotel was not within my kind of walking distance of the main attractions but it is a really short walk from the Sants metro / train station which makes it ideal if you wish […] to use public transport from Airport and the metro is fantastic for getting around to all the sights! Metro to Las Rambas takes only approx 10 min. Mehr

Very convenient to both train station and airport. Was worried about the "neighborhood" but that was unfounded - it is fine! Staff was very congenial and helpful. Great value - booked and paid ahead online for best rate. Furniture "slightly worn" but otherwise room was nice. Would definitely stay there again.

Excelente ubicación cerca de Sant Estació y el mejor hotel de la zona, los empleados sumamente amables, esta el lugar para regresar una y otra vez!

la copa de cava de bienvenida ya te hace presagiar que la cordialidad impera en la diosincracia del hotel. La ubicación es excelente, a 5 minutos andando de la estacion de sants o parada de metro de dos lineas. El único pero es el tamaño de la habitación, u poco justa ya que incluso no cabia ni una silla para dejar la ropa. Me recordo a los hoteles […] parisinos pero con diseño moderno y a una cuarta parte de su precio. Volveré Mehr

Kom seint på kvelden etter en nesten-ranet-kveld i Barcelona, ble godt tatt imot, hjelpsomme i resepsjonen og ellers, bra rom, godt hotell å komme til, nær sentralstasjonen.

El hotel esta muy cerca de la Estación de Sants y Plaza España, la habitación es de un tamaño adecuado y las instalaciones son correctas. Los recepcionistas son educados y amables, especialmente Svetlano.

Chambre très bien chauffée pour des températures extérieures faibles ... coffre fort laissé fermé par client précédent : intervention très rapide du service technique petit déjeuner très complet prix raisonnable pour un 4* 10 proche de la gare de Sants 5 minutes à pied hotel intéressant quand promo internet

산츠역에서 가깝습니다. 시내관광을 원한다면 좋지 않은 위치입니다. 저는 주변을 기차여행하려고 했기 때문에 만족스러웠습니다. 보통의 4성급 호텔 규모와 시설의 다양성을 기대했다면 실망할 수 있습니다. 시설의 퀄리티는 4성급에 손색이 없지만, 규모와 종류는 아닙니다. 아침식사는 아주 만족스럽습니다. 로비의 바는 너무 일찍 닫습니다. 대신 테라스는 늦게까지 열려있습니다. 집 정원에서 처럼 맥주와 담배를 즐기고 싶다면 나쁘지 않습니다. 가장 가까운 metro가 7-8분 정도 걸립니다. 직원들은 실수가 있었지만 유연했습니다. 체크인 한날, 수페리어룸을 예약했음에도 스탠다드 더블룸을 배정받고 다음날 아침에 정정되는 일이 있었습니다. […] 대신, 스탠더드더블로 예약되었단 다른 날의 숙박을 수페리어룸으로 업그레이드받았습니다. 실수는 있었지만 그 이후의 처리가 고집스럽지 않았던 점은 다행이었습니다. Maravilloso hotel..., gente muy amable en la recepción... El sitio ideal... No dejen de visitar la plaza de toros transformada en centro comercial..., muy cerca del hotel... hotel con colazione ottimale, internazionale e completissima, persino caffettiera della nespresso. lo consiglio e ci andrei sicuramente. vicino a metro o stazione dei treni. very good

El hotel H10 es un buen hotel, pero sus habitaciones deben tener el mínimo exigible a un hotel de 4 estrellas. Son realmente pequeñas (al menos la nuestra, que nos dijeron que era la superior!!). No hay espacio para moverse, no hay silla porque no cabe, el armario ropero es mínimo...

Et kort og godt opphold. Fint og rolig hotell.
