Anlage sauber und gepflegt , toller Ausblick auf See Badezimmer nicht so top sauber - Duschtüre kaputt Liegesofa sehr unbequem

sehr schön u. groß, Angebot ist toll (Swimmingpool, Spielhalle, Karten für Parks kann man direkt im Hotel zu tw. Sonderkonditionen kaufen, etc.), Zimmer waren luxeriös (Whirlpool, großes Bett, Terasse, Küchennische inkl. Kühlschrank u. Microwelle - einfach toll!), extrem gute Lage (Nähe SeaWorld, Universal Studios u. Adventure Island, Disney Parks sind auch nicht weit weg u. nicht zu vergessen: Outlets sind relativ nahe, auch für einen kurzen Snack ist ein Walmart ein paar hundert Meter entfernt - genial!

we were told we cannot reserve a one bedroom unit with patios thru hotels.com. the unit we were given was very small with small windows facing the freeway. you need to call them and request a one bedroom deluxe unit to get a patio. we upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with patio and were very pleased. Huge tub and shower. nice unit. Staff was very friendly, however they do sell timeshares.

I have stayed at Westgate twice. It has all the comfort of home: Kitchen, comfy beds, clean, great property with lots to do. I highly recommend Westgate.

The rooms sheets were dirty, called front desk and was advised that someone will be there in 10 min. After waiting for 30min i called front desk back and was advised again that someone wiil be there in 10mins. This time i advised that i was told that 30mins ago. And the guy at the desk transfered me to the cleaning dept. i was advised by the supervisor there that he was not informed that my room needed sheets, so i took the sheets up to the desk and gave them to the guy that told me it would take 10min. now over an hour. while at the counter of course they advised that the cleaning dept. had just left the room and advised that no one was there. the parking was bad i had to park two buildings away from my room and walk while the police were arresting some guys for fighting real safe. thanks for no fun.

The hotel was nice, clean, and comfy. It was located close to shopping and restaurants and of coarse the big attractions but it is not on a busy street that was a big plus. The kids loved the room and it had plenty of space for all 5 of us. The only minor problem is this is a huge complex but they gave us a map and we found our way around. They have lots of security. We will stay here again.

the first thing since it's a resort you have about 25 people to carry your keys around for you since they're trying to sell you a timeshare...once you get past that you'll be shown to your room, the rooms are large in size and a good layout we had a 3 bdrm the decor is WAY outdated the BEST part is the HUGE jetted tub in the bathrooms the WORST is the fact that checkout is at 10am! BOO00000

the price that I paid was way too much. I later found a the same type of accommendation for a fraction of what I paid. the overall room was spacious and held our party really well. rooms were clean and bright..the overall maintence was poor.It looked like at some point there was a water leak in kitchen area and it was not fixed.

very close to downtown,supermarket,restaurants and universal studio.

Great room for the money!! The room was a 1 bedroom and was like a small apartment. The room was clean and everything worked -- lights, outlets, etc. The staff was very friendly and it was very nice to have the park services right on site for buying tickets. The location is wonderful; only minutes from the main attractions. Our only concern, was our bedroom. One wall is mirrored and adjacent to that is a large window. The blinds on the window were slat type and did not fully block the window. Since the window faced a walk way, people could see right in to the room through the slate and to the mirror reflection (which gave you a view of the whole room). Sooo, watch how you dress and what activities you do in you room! Other than that, I give the room 5 stars!

Outstanding Hotel

The hotel was a bit cheesy once you get past all the glitz and glammer of the lobby area........DEFINETLY NOT WHAT I EXPECTED.....The AC did not work like it should. the room lighting is too dim. The bathroom was probably the highlight of the room.

This condo had a big king size bed that was super comfy with tons of pillows. The view from the balcony was great and we love that there were seats and a table on the balcony. The spa tub was relaxing after a day at Disney! We had a minor problem with the toilet on the first day but they promptly sent someone to fix it. This is a great place for families!!!

We have stayed at this hotel/resort several times. It has been our get-away close to home. We love the convenience of everything it has to offer on site as well as the surrounding areas activities. Our stay this past time was not a pleasant as the others. Mainly due to the bed being hard as a rock this time. They promptly brought us a few more mattress pads after the first night and those helped immensely. Also, for this time of year, many things were closed or not as plentiful as usual. Maybe it was the economical times we are in? Overall, we enjoy as usual our stay at this resort, and love our room's central mirrored hot tub!

The Lakes Resort is convenient to all Orlando attractions. The resort itself is clean and well managed. The pools were wonderful. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Westgate lakes resort was so fun and exciting. We were a bit confused when we first arived, because the place was so big, but check in was a breeze. No hassles the entire stay. Walmart was less than a mile away. Every place you could want to eat at was 1 to 1.5 miles away or you could eat at the resort. Universal studios was less than 2 miles away. Seaworld was .5 miles away. Disney was about 8 miles away. This resort was in the perfect place for comfort and short drives to everywhere you want to go without the headache of noisy busy streets out front. I really felt at home. My wife and I cant wait to go back.

We booked the hotel because according to the search it was close to the convention center. Only if you are a bird and able to fly over the interstate is it close. Standard hotels rooms are much nicer and this "one bedroom" condo had a view to the elevator. A bit disappointing, we checked out after 3 hours to move to a hotel closer to the convention center.

Wonderful service, very safe lots of amenities.

The resort room was good for the money and the location is very good but be prepared for a tag team of sales people to really put the pressure on you to buy one of their timeshares. We were not. The last thing we expected the night we arrived was to get tricked into some free breakfast followed by a 90 minute "tour" of the facilities. The next morning we felt like red meat in a large room full of fast talking piranha like sales people with a bell going off anytime someone bought a share. All we wanted was a clean quiet room and to start enjoying Orlando. The resort itself is very nice but be prepared!

Excellent value and superior service - beyond our expectations. The staff were helpful, and the grounds were very well maintained.

We stayed in the studio condo which had a great view from the balcony. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We started our stay on a Thursday afternoon, but by Friday night we noticed a very different crowd staying there, which included a lot of partiers. Also one thing that I noticed was that there policy said no dogs but I saw a lot of them. There was a larger one in the room above us and he walked around all night.

My husband and I were only there for 2 nights and loved it so much that we purchased a timeshare! There were several pools (we even got a pool and jacuzzi to ourselves both nights)and plenty of activities to do throughout the day. Extremely conviently located between Disney and Universal.

We liked the room, The staff was nice and basically I have no complaints about the hotel except.... Its not a hotel its a resort and therefore they push you to buy a time share. To check in I had to spend 15 minutes with some guy setting me up for an early morning free breakfast and 90 minute presentation with golf cart tour of facility trying to get me to buy. I had my wife and kids with me and they wanted to go to Disney not tour the hotel in a golf cart. I came with one thing in mind sleep in a nice room and then leave to go see the local sights. Room was very nice and I have no complaints about the stay just expect a strong presentation and sales pitch.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times and each time I am so glad that we did. We have four kids but every year we come here alone to celebrate our anniversary and birthday. This hotel has a ton of planned activities for families as well as adult couples traveling alone. The staff is super and we have never had any problem with the service. The on site restaurant is delicious and the portions are huge. The only draw back is the parking, but if you come back to your room at a decent time between 9-11 pm you should find parking relatively close to you room. I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE!!!!

We liked the hotel a good area. Close by universal. It was one bad thing and that was the internet, we paid for the internet but didnt work in our room and when we wanted help the hotel didnt have anything to do with the internet and we have to call the the support!

Nice property in a good location. The room are clean, comfortable and with good space. The price that we paid for the product that we received very good. The first arriving is very important when we are a future guest. So will be good to have a better greeting at the front desk. The receptionist they receiving you like a nobody. Very bad service in this area. They don't pay you attention. We went at morning to check the confirmation, no helpful at all. In the afternoon no even talking to us. Is like a "Factory". Come and get out. Thanks

when we got there the room was really nice and the bed looked super comfy the garden tub we saw in the picture was not in the room. (that was the ENTIRE reason we booked that hotel) so we called down stairs to inquire, they said that the room we saw in the picture was an additional $56. so we paid bc we wanted the room with the tub. the tub was amazing the bed sucked. but you can't have it all. it's a really nice place, i just think they need better mattress in the big rooms and when you advertise a room for a certain price make sure you're showing up the correct room. it cost us more money and don't think we should have had to pay we were miss lead

This was not our first time staying at this hotel, however this stay ruined it for us ever coming back. When we first got our room the door key did not open our actually room (turns out the door was malfunctioning) they gave us three seperate keys (none worked) and an hour later finally sent someone up to fix the door, however the security guard who came up was rude and slammed the door after he fixed it. Then when we got back from Halloween Horror Nights at 1:30am our outside door was not letting us in. We called and they could not tell us at 1:30am that someone would be up in under an hour to fix the problem. Twenty minutes later a security guard comes up and calls the front desk asking them to call the person in room A (we were in B) because they locked the outside door, why that is even an option when people share a door is beyond me.... although she told us there was a key to unlock the door and not disturb the people in room A, but she did not have it. I could have woken them up myself had they told us on the phone that we were locked out like they knew we were!!!! It was absolutely terrible. Not to mention no one cared to apologize for a thing, if that is not bad customer service, I do not know what is!

Could not beat the price and what I got. Visit each fall and look for the same ersort and building. Quiet, good location and hot tub in room. Other hotels would be more expensive and provide less.

I Enjoyed our stay and would stay again

We just stayed at Westgate Restorts a few weeks back for our one year anniversary. The room blew us away. For the price we paid, we were amazed at the size and features of the room. TV had a DVD player. Room also had a mini kitchen with a decent sized fridge, microwave, toaster. We had a king size bed and a full sofa with pull-out bed. All rooms also have a screened in porch. The bed was a little hard for us but besides that we loved the room. Large bathroom with jacuzzi and a shower. The resort has many pools, restaurants, activities, and even minituare golf. We still cannot believe the price we paid for this deal. We saw some of the other rooms which are even larger and have full kitchens pretty much. I'd consider these more of condos than hotel rooms. Excellent value. Our room was cleaned daily, although I dont think they changed our sheets. My wife left her phone on the bed under the covers and when we came back later that day the bed was made but the phone was in the exact same position. We didn't mind though because for 3 nights I dont feel they need to waste sheets and water, just something to be aware of.

Well placed to all attractions, friendly and efficient staff, plenty of activities on site, lovely restaurant, huge rooms, well serviced and stocked.

We had a 1 bedroom studio. The grounds had a lot to offer for family activities. We played in one of the many pools and a game of putt-putt. Was going to universal so we didn't have a lot of time to join in on any of the other things going on at the resort, but if you were going to stay for the week I think you would have plenty to do.

Really enjoyed the convenience, cleanliness and amenities of Westgate Lakes.

My time at the resort was good.
