Das Hotel ist in ordentlichem Zustand. Alles ist sauber. Leider war das Bett nur in Queen Size verfuegbar. Personal war freundlich.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, große Zimmer mit Küche, in unmittelbarer nähe von 2 Metro- und Busstationen, sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu fuß zu erreichen wenn man halbwegs fit auf den Beinen ist ... Alles in allem: nichts auszusetzen! ;-)

Ein sehr nettes, hilfreiches Team, gute Lage mitten im Zentrum, mit lebendigem Irischen Pub direkt daneben. Einziges, aber sehr nerviges Manko: Unser Zimmer (im 8. Stock) war extrem laut (dabei muss es schon eins der leiseren sein). Ab 6 Uhr morgens ging es schon mit der Müllabfuhr los, gefolgt von starkem Straßenverkehr mit Kleinlastwagen etc. Man […] hatte manchmal das Gefühl, als würde der Verkehr direkt neben unserem Zimmer vorbei fahren. Starken Verkehr sind wir auch von anderen Hotels in Washington gewohnt (sonst wohnen wir immer am Dupont Circle), aber da gibt es überall Doppelfenster und der Lärm lässt sich gut aushalten. Hier müsste also dringend nachgerüstet werden, zumal bei dem Preisniveau. Schade, aber solange sich da nichts ändert, können wir das Hotel nur eingeschränkt empfehlen. Mehr

Hotel ist nur zu empfehlen. Achtung: Es gibt kein Frühstück, aber direkt nebenan sind Cafes und Bakerys. Wie USA üblich sind die Fenster sehr dünn und Straßenlärm kommt leicht durch. Wir hatten auf unserer Reise aber nicht ein einziges Hotel, in dem das anders gewesen wäre. Also damit muss man leben...

Service und Zimmerqualität waren sehr gut. Zimmer lag nach hinten raus, was mich prinzipiell nicht gestört hat. Dadurch aber sehr laut, insbesondere Nachts, wegen der Klimaventilatoren im Hof.

Das Hotel liegt nahe des weißes Hauses. Es hat sehr große, komfortable Zimmer und ist verhältnismäßig preiswert. Der Empfang war sehr zuvorkommen und superfreundlich. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind Cafes zum Frühstücken und ein sehr gutes Steakhouse zum Abendessen. This hotel was within walking distance of most of the major sites in DC. While there is not much activity in this area on the weekends, we were able to walk to all of the areas we wanted to see with the exception of Georgetown. The hotel itself is dated. The Quincy is a basic hotel. It has some ageing hip touches. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The suite is decent from a square footage point of view but has some wasted space. The lobby is tiny and there are few amenities. Ice, drink machines, and vending are all on different floors. The shower was terrible- HOT then COLD with low […] pressure. The AC wont ever really crank up and blow cold air. the room service consists of a very basic menu from the pub below. The location is great- lots going on in this neighborhood. I had a comfortable stay with no issues other than if you stay in one of the rooms facing the back alley, the trash trucks come in very early so if you are a light sleeper this could be an issue for you. Location is great, a mere fifteen minute walk to the White House and a few minutes more to the Smithsonian. Metro is very close by to get to anywhere. The room was very spacious. Sandwiched between two large buildings, the Quincy is an oasis from the city. The location is steps away from the Metro and around the block from 19th street where there are exceptional local restaurants. For shopping Nordstrom Rack across the street as well as high end retail stores round out the convenience of this location.Front desk staff were superb […] and knowledgeable.The room is BIG by DC or any large city standards. Close to Metro and eateries. Staff WONDERFUL. Hotel old, falling apart, noisy. Large rooms. Lousy internet speeds. There were lots of crumbs under the desk. (Hadn't been vacuumed.) The plumbing was terrible. One tub handle was screwed on and spun when trying to turn off. The toilet noisily refilled from a leaky flapper. LOTS OF STREET NOISE. There is […] a reason there are earplugs in every room. I was interrupted at 8:30am by a maid who wanted to know if I had checked out yet. Another knocked at my door the night before to offer me a bottle of water and a bag of candy. (I was in the process of changing for dinner.) If you want a "convenient location" hotel, this is the place. If you want a quiet hotel, look elsewhere. Mehr

Parts of the hotel felt a little dated, while other parts felt modern and fresh. The room was exceptionally clean...the bed was probably the cleanest hotel bed I've ever slept in! Our room was facing the street and I have no noise complaints, either from outside or from other guests. The amenities were wonderful...We had a full size fridge, stove, sink, […] and a small microwave, which was helpful for travel with a 2 year old. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about DC. The location is close to the Metro, which makes it easy to get to all the museums. This hotel is very near to great eateries and the White House! It is en-route on the hop-on hop-off sight seeing bus routes so that is another alternative to get from the hotel to the sites! Very clean and a very friendly staff!

First of all the staff was fantastic. The hotel was very nice and quaint. The location was perfect in that it was close to two Metro Stations and an easy walking distance to many things. The overall experience was fantastic and we will absolutely be staying at the Quincy again. Highly recommend.

With a good central location, the Quincy was convenient to transportation and casual food restaurants. Our accommodations were handsome and clean. After a long day of sightseeing, we appreciated our generous room, which included a comfortable sofa area adjacent to the t.v., a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. I was in town for the Rock-N-Roll Marathon and to see Washington D.C. for the first time. Location was great to many great restaurants and clubs/bars. Two Metro stations within a block. I was in D.C. when the large snow storm came through the city in March. I checked in on Monday and up until that point everything was fine. During the storm I heard water dropping on the carpet and found that my ceiling was leaking. I told the front desk and they were accommodating, to a point. I was moved to a different room, however the front desk […] staff did not apologize for the incident or ask if I needed assistance. When I got to my room to move, the engineering deparment was already trying to fix the problem and all of my belongings that were on the cabinet had been moved. I had to ask the gentleman to move several times so I could get the rest of my belongings out of the bathroom. I got a new room however this room had heat issues and it did not work. The carpets in the hallway are bubbled and more than once I tripped. There is no gift shop in the hotel however there is a CVS a couple of blocks away. Overall it was a good stay but I might try to find another hotel for my next trip. Mehr

What a great surprise to find a kitchen in the room! The Quincy is comfortable, clean, and warm, walkable to all the sights (if you're used to city walking), and the price is perfect.

Room was a bit warm. We cracked the window (and it was in the 20s outside) to cool it off a bit. The Keurig coffee system was a nice touch, as was the refrigerator and microwave. However, if the hotel has the money to put all that in a room, it surely has the cash to replace its water-wasting toilets for EPA WaterSense models. The toilet in our room […] was a 5-gallon-per-flush model; WaterSense toilets use 1.28 gpf. Plus, it ran intermittently, and running toilets can waste hundreds of gallons of water a day. Mehr

They were nothing but nice, having a doorrman to greet you is always a luxury, and the room was very spacious. I had a wake up call, there are kerigs in the room as well as a large couch. It was close to everything and a great deal for DC!

The shower hot and cold adjusters were very out dated, along with the sink. The room would be fifty times better if the wall paper was changed and made more modern along with the carpet. Thanks. Will be staying with you again soon.

The hotel is well located in downtown DC and within walking distance of most organizations and government buildings. The room is also quite large, comfortable and clean. Only coffee is offered in the AM. The LG television did not have HD broadcast. The fitness area is off site and requires a walk of a couple of blocks.

The Quincy is my husband's favorite place to stay on business. I'd only been there once before. The location is terrific, right near metro, walking to Georgetown (if you like to walk, maybe European standards, rather than typical US), near the mall. The staff is just the best--always super friendly, amazingly helpful. The one disappointment on this […] trip is that we were there two days for fun and two days on business--both business days, we took showers at 7 am and ran out of hot water! We live in DC and needed a hotel room for one night due to some plumbing issues at home. We booked The Quincy on hotels.com and prepaid. The room itself was nice, though there was a light that made a lot of noise when it was on, but overall we were satisfied with the quality of the room for the price we paid. HOWEVER, a day later, an additional charge […] (remember, we had prepaid with hotels.com) of $85 appeared on our credit card bill. A call and voicemail to one of the managers went unanswered. Thankfully, a second call to a different manager was answered and the charge was reversed. We were also offered a comp night. I'm glad they set the situation right, but how many people have something like this happen and never even notice? Mehr

For me, it was fabulous! Hope my feedback helps. PROS: 1 block off the Farrugat No metro stop - easy from the airport. Staff was friendly, engaged and polite. We were in DC for the inauguration - The Quincy gave us a commemorative thermos for the event...nice touch. No need to rent a car - it is 1/2 mile from the White House and the monuments. Definitely […] walkable. You are only a few blocks from Dupont Circle - great food/shops. There was a great pub right next door. Corner Bakery, au Bon Pain, Starbucks, CVS drug store, and liquor store all on the block. The bed is sooooo comfortable and they give you like 6 pillows (down like softness). The room was clean, comfortable, and wonderfully decorated -had a sectional sofa, fridge, microwave and hairdryer. They also have complimentary toiletries, at the desk, in case you forgot a toothbrush or something (thought that was great). You also have the option to be "green" with your sheets and towels. CONS: it is an older hotel. There is no fan in the bathroom. There were also a few cosmetic things. It is a city and they are on a busy street and back up to an alley with trash trucks....I brought earplugs and it wasn't a problem at all. It is also very warm in the hotel (which I loved) - I would recommend turning your fan to "off" it stays comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. Mehr

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The staff became family and we knew them by first name. They were so helpful even our cleaning lady. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Location was great for the inauguration.

OMG!!! When I arrived and was taken to my room, I could not believe how wonderful it was. The reviews said large spacious rooms - CHECK CHECK, great location - CHECK CHECK, friendly staff - CHECK CHECK, and clean rooms - CHECK CHECK. My stay for the Presidential Inauguration of 2013 was perfect. The room was huge with a lovely bathroom and even a Keurig […] coffee maker. I had a refrigerator and microwave. There was a comfortable sitting area with a sofa and table. The location could not have been better - I had convenient access to two Metro stations. On Inauguration morning, I was in my ticketed area withing 90 minutes from departing the Quincy. Upon my arrival, someone knocked on my door and presented me with a gift to commemorate my stay during the Inauguration - a coffee thermos. Each night when I returned from Inaugural balls and parties, the staff greeted me by name and commented - "we were waiting for you to get safely home." An excellent saty. Mehr
