My family enjoyed our stay very much. Will be going back & will encourage other family members to go.

Great place, some sand and hair in bed, everything else was very clean and spacious. Fast elevators. Nice water activities and lovely outdoor bar. Will definitely stay here again!

Had always wanted to stay at Camelot as the exterior had always amazed us. Upon checking in we were welcomed by the friendliest front desk we have ever experienced--extremely willing to please us. Room however left alot to be desired. Sofa had mutliple holes in the back section and cushions. We also left our socks and/or shoes on as the floor felt dirty. […] Our socks were proof that it was dirty. Also, the indoor and outdoor pools were dirty. Lastly, someone had written/drawn vulgar images on the decals in two of the four elevators. We even pointed this out, on the first day, to a member of hotel management who was in the elevator with us. When we checked out 3 days later, the images were still there. As we left the beach following our checkout, a list of hotels was made that we would consider on our next trip BUT Camelot was NOT on the list. Mehr

I enjoyed my stay very much! Location is great and there were no issues with staff. The room was very clean and was vacuumed for us each day. The only issue was the mattress on the sofa bed. My back was in knots. Very uncomfortable sleeping arrangement.

If you must stay here, do not accept a room near the elevators or carry earplugs for the noise. Be sure to drive the smallest vehicle you own for navigating the parking deck. Don't expect the service desk to assist you with extra blankets, if they answer they will tell you the blankets are in the dryer we will try later(at 10 pm, really?). By the way […] for clarification, "all the Movie channels" means one and that's after you program the tv yourself. However the maintence guys did a great job keeping the elevator running between its breakdowns and cleaning the graffiti from inside the elevator door every hour. The room and linen was very clean and smelled fresh. The king size bed we requested was provided and was as comfortable as any hotel I had ever stayed before. There are pros and cons to any vacation. Good luck with your decision!!! For the price tag there are definitely better options than this one. Mehr

This hotel had all the things we were looking for, a suite with separate living area and kitchen, an indoor pool and direct access to the beach. It needs some updating but it was clean. And it would be nice if it had a restaurant inside the hotel. The parking was great and very convenient.

My daughter and I really enjoyed staying at the Camelot. It was very close to the convention center and the boardwalk. The parking was great and very convenient. Also, it is right at the beach with ocean front view!!! If our cheerleading team comes back next year, we will definitely stay at the Camelot again. The room was very clean and well mainta […] ined. We did not use many amenities because we were there for a cheer competition but the pull out sofa had holes and was filthy. It was not usable and it just made me feel that nothing in the room was clean.

Camelot has a bit of age, but is comfortably furnished with all oceanfront units. Some of the elevators were having mechanical issues when we checked in, but I spotted an elevator mechanic later that day and everything seemed to be ironed out after that. We were there over St. Patrick's Day and were able to walk over to the festival on Ocean Boulevard […] which was fortuitous as parking and traffic would have been a problem. Broadway at the Beach is just a couple of minutes away by car. The unit itself was very nice, two flat screen television sets, ample closet and drawer space. Although the housekeeping staff left dishwasher soap, there was no dishwasher, but with our short stay, this was not a problem. The garage is a bit of a challenge, two way traffic can be very tight and the mirrors to see around the corners are critical. There was a big car show going on during our stay and several of the classic cars were in the garage which tied up a lot of spaces, but we were always able to find parking although we had to go up several floors. A positive is that the garage is contained in the main building unlike many of the other rentals on Ocean where the garages are across the street. Indoor and outdoor pools were in good shape, well used and many lounge chairs were available. Tiki Bar was a bit expensive, but very convenient. It was a very nice stay, we would recommend the accommodations to others and would certainly stay there again ourselves. Mehr

The sheets had hair on them. Ask for more sheets. New sheets had hair on them. Treated my son to this vacation. Had to call the Hotel Manager and complain about the sheets. Sorry I ever sent him there.

Fun indoor pool area for the kids. Rooms are basic but clean. You can walk right to the heart of myrtle.

Myrtle Beach is basically closed for this time of year so I had a great hotel and room for a terrific price. Enjoyed the connection with the other Oceana hotels and played bingo in the B Western as well. thumbs up up

Went for a weekend getaway for our family. We ran into a few problems, but nothing that the staff didnt take care of! The only thing we noticed is that the refrigerators were rusty which is no big deal!

The room, location, cleanliness were great, but navigating the parking lot was crazy. At lobby level, nothing bigger than a compact car can fit. Trucks took up two spots and couldn't back out of the spaces. Higher levels were tight spaces, vehicles were going up and down in narrow drive lanes.

The hotel is beautiful from the exterior, but as soon as you walk into the lobby you know it is going down hill. The floor was dirty and the small lobby was very unkept. Checking was good and as soon as I was finished the clerk tried to clerk tried to push me into speaking with a timeshare salesman. I declined and went to the room. The was was ok at […] best. The bathroom had failing smeared everywhere and was not clean. The carpet was dirty and had stains. I kept shoes on during the entire stay it was so bad. The room had a smoke odor as though someone had been smoking in it. The kitchen area was small but well equipped. The utensils were clean. The stove and microwave were dirty with food stains everywhere. The bed clearly had an old bedcover which I can not imagine had ever been cleaned. I placed the bedcover on the floor and slept with just the sheets. I would never stay here again. The hotel is below Super 8 standards!! Mehr

Hotel was great for New Years Eve... My only problem was the refrigerator had rust stains on the front.. Not a big deal I'm just picky.. All in all a great hotel to visit the beach.

We have stayed here a couple of times and have enjoyed it immensely both times. My favorite thing about it is location. It is within walking distance to Dirty Don's (oysters!!!) which is a huge plus and is a short ride or long walk to Broadway at the Beach. The rooms are nice, the view is awesome and my son loves the pools. Sure, you can find things […] to complain about, but, when you are at the beach why bother looking for those types of things! Mehr

The appliances were rusted and the pillows had hai(other peoples hair) all over them.

Lazy river was too slow and hot, The indoor pool was very cold. The door was misadjusted when the wind blew there was a whisleing noise

very nice updated hotel, excellent parking

This was a nice place but check in is not until 4 p.m. There was only one staff to check in and people were in line for 45 minute to an hour wait. It is a good location on the beach

We loved staying at this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location. We were right in the middle of all the things we like to do in Myrtle beach.

Room was nice but not that great for the name they have.

We stayed at the Camelot in MB for 4 nights in the off season. We chose it based on various reviews on this and other sites. The best way I can describe it is that it was good enough, I guess. It isn't dirty, but it wasn't clean either. The staff wasn't bad, but certainly not good either. The pool was closed while we were there, but we were not informed […] of that when we booked. (I think that is as much Hotels.com's fault as it was the Camelot's.) The location was perfect. The size of the room was great. The beds however, were full, NOT queen as we were told, and they were extremely uncomfortable. I guess I would recommend this hotel to someone with the caveat that it is an average hotel, so if you get a good rate, the location makes up for the overall "average-ness" of the property. However, if you find that it is not less expensive than other options, I would stay away. Mehr

Fold out couch was falling on floor couldn't sleep on and very uncomfortable to sit on. The room had one other chair and wasn,'t for sitting either. You could see where wall had been damage and was repaired sort of but never painted. No paper towels in kitchen. I was very disappointed for the money. Would not recommend.

Great location. Room very nice with ocean view.was on the 18th floor. Lots of places to eat in area.Would stay their again.

The hotel was very out dated. The kitchen refrigerator was disgusting. The price was good.but sometimes you get what you pay for.

The photos are very deceiving! The furniture is old and worn with holes. I did not sleep under the covers, scared !! Spend the extra money stay at the Anderson.

I would come back here again.

Pros: -the hotel was right on the beach and had multiple pools and hot tubs, as well as an outdoor bar -the location is not too far from the main pier/boardwalk area, but not in the middle of all the chaos -parking is secure and ample -all the rooms have an ocean view -the staff is very friendly and helpful -rooms are large, the beds have more than […] 2 pillows cons: -the water pressure was low at times tips: try to get a room on a lower floor. driving to your room on the 18th floor would take at least 5 minutes. This vacation property is great. if you have a family, you are in for a treat, the pools are nice, the beach was clean, the front desk was accommodating, and the house keeping staff was warm and professional. If you have any requests, just call ahead, the front desk will go out of their way to try and accommodate any reasonable request.

Hotel was OK, I wasn't too impressed. It felt more like a motel than a hotel. From outside it looks nice but from inside and up close you can notice its an older building. It could use some fresh paint and fresh carpeting. The room quality was ok too, we were surprised to see 2 large Flat Panel LCD TVs, normally you see that in higher class hotels, […] so that was a nice surprise. The kitchen area was nice too, full fridge, range, microwave, fully stocked cabinets with glasses and silverware, so that was surprising as well. Bathroom was ok, you can see rust spots in areas and peeling paint in other areas but overall it was clean. Outside area and pool was good size, there were 3 or 4 pools and lazy river which was nice. Good area for family with kids, as we saw a lot of families there. Hotel is right on the beach so access was very close, few steps and you're right on the beach. Parking was interesting, there are 10 floor of parking, rather tight but ok, we had no problms with our SUV vehicle, there was always parking available on the higher floors but we got lucky few times to find spaces on the lower floor.Most people prefer parking on the lower floors because its rather tight to maneuver and drive around the parking garage, so the lower you park the less driving. Elevators were spacious and fast, there are 4 elevators, 2 on each end of building, always close by so don't have to walk far. Overall I was ok with the hotel, I don't know if I would stay there again as there are hundreds of other hotels on the strip but I would recommend to others. Mehr
