Hotel Carlton - Prag

Nicht im Zentrum, aber leicht mit dem Tram zu erreichen. Gutes ALTES Hotel, Kein Parkplatz, verdient vielleicht nicht die 4 Sterne. Insgesamt aber gut.

Vorteil: Schöne saubere Zimmer, nur 4 Stationen mit der Straßenbahn bis zur Altstadt (ca.10 Minten). Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist nur 3 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung. Nachteil: Das Hotel liegt an der Straße und man hört ständig! (auch nachts) die quietschenden Straßenbahnen. Man muss die Fenster geschlossen halten.

Sauberes Hotel mit gutem Service, die Anbindung an die Innenstadt ist sehr gut, nur 3 Straßenbahnstationen entfernt, eine Haltestelle ist in unmittelbarer Nähe; das Frühstück konnten wir in angenehmer Atmosphäre genießen.

Room: The room has a classic feel but the hotel everything seems to be just refurbished. The room is clean and comfortable. My only comment is that for my room is that it could be brighter. Wifi connection in the lobby is good, but could be better if it is in the room as well. The hotel offers English breakfast with a good variety. This hotel far EXCEEDED expectations. Absolutely no complaints, the value for price excellent, and best of all it was close to family in Prague!

Close to tram station. Staff was very helpful and we loved the breakfast- not extensive but very well prepared. I would stay there again.

First location: A few meters from tram stop. From main train station is two stops. Otherwise from Wenceslas Square and "Museum" metro station on the square it's 4 tram stops. From Wenceslas Square it's a short walk to the Old Town Square. As for the hotel it was excellent. They gave us a suite (I don't know why, we paid for a normal room) and it was […] huge!!! Amazing room, very nicely furnished. The hotel ammenities include: hair dryer, plenty of toiletries, minibar, breakfast included, room service, and a safe box with a small extra charge. There's also free Internet in the room with cable and a computer available in the looby but there's no wifi. The bathroom has a nice tub, however there was no shower curtain and the shower head was one of those movable ones and the support was very low so it was a little bit hard to shower standing up (see picture) but with the comfort of the room it was not a big deal for me. There's also a shoe shining machine in the lobby. There's not many restaurants close to the hotel and the hotel's is only open for breakfast, but across the street there's a grocery store. Overall, I would greatly recommend this hotel. We had a very comfortable stay, service was excellent and it was well located. Mehr

This hotel is located in Praha 3 and be can easily be reached by tram (5,9,26). It takes about ten minutes by tram from the train station; just take it to the stop "Olsanske namestri" which is a few hundred feet from the hotel. The staff speaks decent English and is helpful enough with any questions. The room I stayed in had an odd layout with a cabinet […] located too close to the bathroom door so it could only be opened half-way at most. Other than the odd layout, the condition of the room was great, and everything was clean. There was a water kettle, and tea/coffee as well. The mattress didn't offer much cushioning, but it didn't bother me that much. The best part of this hotel is the included breakfast - they offer a great selections of cereal, rolls, meat, tea, and coffee. All in all this is a great hotel - the only real disadvantage is the somewhat far distance from the city center. Also, there is a food store located across the street from the hotel which is convenient, but be warned the staff is suspicious of foreigners. The security guard followed us around the entire time, and then demanded to search our bags as we left the store. Mehr

Hôtel confortable, située loin du centre de Prague, mais avec les nombreux tramways, on s'y rend en une quinzaine de minutes seulement et à pied, en 35 minutes environ. Petit déjeuner copieux, mais peu varié. Service courtois.

très bel hôtel, peut être un peu loin à pied du centre de Prague mais le tram nous y emmène en 5 minutes. Le buffet petit déjeuner est copieux et complet. Le personnel est serviable et discret. Un seul bémol, les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonorisées et les personnes ayant le sommeil léger peuvent trouver cela désagréable.

We were staying there for two nights and found the hotel very nice and cozy. Service was good and the receptionists helped us with anything they could: to find sights, in translating texts etc... Room was very nice and clean and in July the A/C was priceless. Location is also very good: it is just conveniently on the side from all the noise and all […] the tourist spots. With one tram (number 9) you can reach almost the whole city centre and most of the popular sights. Mehr

Hotel ,trés propre, bien situer ,qualité prix comparable à certain hotels à Bangkok (c'est peu dire) petit déjeuner trés copieux, un hotel à recommandé !!!

Ett mycket trevligt hotell med bra personal och stora bekväma rum. Luftkonditioneringen och den goda frukosten ger extra plus. Sängen var lite hård, men överlag hade vi ett mycket trevligt, stort och fräscht rum. Hotellet ligger inte särskilt centralt, ca 20 min promenad till gamla stan, men det går jättebra förbindelser med både spårvagn och metro. […] För det bra priset, så såg vi det inte som en nackdel att bo lite mer off, där det är lugnare, och dessutom hittar man alltid små guldkorn på vägen, som man säkerligen annars hade missat om man hade bott i de mer centrala delarna. Raitiotien puoleinen huoneemme oli meluisa. Aamiaishuone oli kulunut ja rapistunut. Vastaanoton henkilökunta oli avuliasta, kielitaitoitoista ja osaavaista. Aamiaispaikan henkilökunta ilmeetön ja neutraali. Aamiainen oli riittävän monipuoleinen, mutta ei kovin runsas. Yleisvaikutelmaksemme jäi hyvin positiiviseksi. Kulkuyhteydet hotelliin yleisillä […] kulkuneuvoilla olivat hyvät ja hotelli sijaitsi matka-ajallisesti miltei keskustassa. Mehr

Ce n'est pas le centre ville, mais 10 mns de tram suffisent pour s'y rendre. Un super marché fermant à 21H est à proximité; c'est un hôtel très agréable, le confort du lit me faisait dormir comme un BB. Petit bémol, on entend un peu le tramway passer sous les fenêtres, les fenêtres mériteraient un meilleur insonorisation...Mais c'est très supportable […] . Je vous conseille le tramway pour vous balader, pour 4 €, vous avez un billet 24H illimité...ou 80 centimes le trajet de 20 mns. Nous avons pris le taxi pour nous rendre à l'hôtel de l'aéroport, compter 700 couronnes (30 €), mais il existe des bus pour le centre, puis tramway jusqu'à l'hôtel. Prague est une ville où il faut se laisser aller. 3 à 4 jours est un temps idéal pour bien découvrir ses trésors. Le guide "prague en quelques jours" nous a bien aidé. Hotel bastante aceptable para su precio. Camas muy cómodas y habitación bastante completa. El único pero sería la moqueta y las cortinas, pero suele ser bastante habitual en Europa.

Fremragende beliggenhed, fornuftig tilstand af værelserne og nogenlunde serviceniveau (typpisk tjekkisk standard).

Fem hållplatser med spårvagnen och man var mitt i centrum. Bra och billiga restauranger i närheten. En lugn och behaglig storstad.
