Herrliches Hotel mit großen Zimmern, Balkon mit Blick auf den Jachthafen oder die Bay , Kühlschrank und warmen Frühstück in fantastischer Umgebung auf Shelter Island . Waren hier bereits zum 3. Mal. Parken derzeit nur $ 5 . Sehr freundliches Personal .

Das Hotel liegt günstig zu Old Town San Diego. Es benötigt mal eine Renovierung. Eine Lobby, in der man sich einmal hinsetzen kann, ist nicht vorhanden. Der Empfang ist aber freundlich und hilfsbereit. Empfehlenswert nur für Leute, die sich mit einem sehr einfachen Hotel begnügen u nd nicht viel Geld ausgeben wollen.
Lage
Best Western Americana Inn liegt in erreichbarer Nähe zum Flughafen in San Ysidro (South Bay) in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeit: Las Americas Premium Outlets. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region gehören: Knott's Soak City San Diego und Cricket Wireless Amphitheater.
Ausstattung
Best Western Americana Inn bietet Ihnen Folgendes: Außenpool und Whirlpool. Ein kostenloser Highspeed-Internetzugang (W-LAN und Kabel) steht in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Geschäftsreisenden steht Folgendes zur Verfügung: Businesscenter, Tagungsräume für kleine Gruppen und Konferenzraum. Jeden Morgen wird Ihnen ein kostenloses Frühstück serviert. In diesem Haus im Art déco Stil steht außerdem Folgendes zur Verfügung: Dachterrasse, mehrsprachiges Personal und Grillmöglichkeiten. Zimmer

Die 120 klimatisierten Zimmer im Best Western Americana Inn bieten Folgendes: Waschmaschinen/Trockner und Minibars. Die Betten in den Zimmern haben Pillowtop-Matratzen und Dreifachlaken. Im Zimmer steht Ihnen ein kostenloser Highspeed-Internetzugang (W-LAN) zur Verfügung. 27-Zoll Flachbildfernseher mit Kabel-TV-Empfang stehen in den Zimmern zur Verfügung. Darüber hinaus bieten alle Zimmer folgende Ausstattung: Schreibtische, Zimmersafes und Telefone mit Voicemail; kostenlose Ortsgespräche sind ebenfalls inbegriffen (möglicherweise gelten Einschränkungen). Zur Badausstattung gehören: Badewannen-/Duschkombinationen und Haartrockner.

Das weitläufige South Bay ist für seine unmittelbare Nähe zur mexikanischen Grenze bekannt. In San Ysidro, nördlich der Grenze, befindet sich der am meisten frequentierte Grenzübergang der Welt. South Bay ist vor allem ein Wohngebiet, es finden sich dort aber auch einige Industrie-, Gewerbe- und Militärgebiete. Bei Touristen äußerst beliebt sind zum Beispiel Knott's Soak City Water Park und Coors Amphitheater, in dem Konzerte bekannter Künstler stattfinden.
Alle Hotels in San Ysidro ansehenDas Hotel war ok. Leider haben sie unser Auto Auf dem Gelände des Hotels aufgebrochen. Von den Hotelangestellten gab es keinerlei Hilfe. Die Polizei kommt bei solchen Fällen nicht raus. Man muss einen onlinereport ausfüllen. Dafür muss man relativ gut englisch lesen und schreiben können, da vom Hotel keinerlei Hilfe zu erwarten ist.

Für eine Nacht i.o. Zimmer für 4 Personen recht eng.

The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable; the breakfast was good and nicely presented. The only downside was the internet signal--it was intermittent and not very strong to our room so had to go the lobby to use the internet.

We always stay at this hotel when in the area because it is always clean, the beds are very comfortable, there's free internet in the room and the TV's are good, plus there's a coffee maker, mini-fridge and microwave, so we don't have to eat out. Breakfast is included, and the room price is very reasonable. It's easy to get on and off the freeway nearby […] but far enough to have a quiet night's sleep. There are restaurants, gas, and discount shopping nearby also. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, and most speak more than one language. So, all things considered, a very good place to stay at a good price. Mehr

the room was clean and comfortable. The bed had lots of pillows. Look out of the room window and you can see the lights of TJ. Awesome.

Hotel is well placed near the US - Mexico border but be careful getting on I-5S from the hotel as you might not be able to take any exit into US. The hotel is very clean, quiet and serves the standard Best Western breakfast which includes boiled eggs, breakfast pastries and waffle.

I love my stay here. Clean beds, clean bathroom, clean carpet, clean and useful fridge and micro, room well lighted, great pool and jacuzzi. Easy to get to. I'm coming back!! And the staff was good and polite.

My husband and I had to cross the border to go to a clinic and staying at this hotel made it quite easy and convenient. It was clean and everyone was very pleasant. There is a very good resturant right outside the hotel parking lot and we were happy we stayed at this hotel.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful. Great hotel for the price. Not the best location unless you want to be near the border. Its close to Imperial beach which was nice but I'm more of a party person so I found Imperial beach to be boring. Overall nice hotel.

Stayed one night at hotel because of a concert we were going to at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre. I didn't know the area so wanted to stay close to venue. I think my husband said you could see TJ from there.....hehehe.....anyway we were worried about the car....but shouldn't have been....felt very safe no issues at all. Excellent Property, clean, quiet and comfortable
"Location"
The location couldn't be better. We are headed to Baja and wanted to be close to the border. Of course we had our concerns about safety but the property is safe and very conveniently located, (almost on the same property), to Coco's Restaurant, a gas station, freeway entrance and just down the road from CVS Pharmacy. 5 minutes drive from Plaza Las Americas. Decent and clean room. For the rate charged, wasn't expecting the Hilton, but service is friendly. The only down side is the breakfast, no major changes on the offerings thru the time of the stay.

"Mom Loved it!"
I booked this reservation for my mom who was traveling alone on business. She was a bit nervious it being her first time in a hotel by herself. She really liked it and felt very comfortable and she enjoyed the free breakfast. She like it so much she asked me to book another room at the same place the following week she had to drive out again.

The place was unbelievable: close to highways, outlets, restaurants, and the lowest tax in town. The bedroom was always clean, fresh towels at hand, microwave, coffee maker and fridge in working conditions. Free Internet. No bad smells whatsoever. Overall the place looks well maintained. The breakfast was good. For the price I paid, I feel like I got […] the most out of it. I did not use the swimming pool, so I can speak to that. Hola, si recomiendo esté hotel, la verdad muy bien, además me dijeron que incluia un desayuno americano, y para ser sinceros esperaba pan y café, y cual fué mi grata sorpresa, que había wafles, hot cakes, café, jugo, avena, leche, pan dulce.. así que por el precio y lo que me dieron quede muy bien, el hotel muy limpio, la habitación súper!, LO RECOMIENDO […] AMPLIAMENTE, si vuelvo a necesitar donde quedarme, sin duda, regresaré... El hotel esta muy limpio, fue mejor de lo que pensábamos, la atención y nuestra estancia fue excelente, a excepción de un pequeño incidente en el que un dia llegamos y el cuarto estaba abierto y la camarista no lo había limpiado, inmediatamente reportamos el incidente a recepción y la respuesta fue que la persona que tenia que hacer el cuarto estaba […] enferma y se fue y por un error dejo abierta nuestra habitación...inmediatamente el hotel mando a una persona a que nos limpiara el cuarto, de allí en fuera...el hotel esta de 10, muy recomendable, limpio y en buen estado. "falta de accesorios"
Todo muy bien, solo que ibamos 4 personas y siempre dejaban toallas, jabon etc. para 2 personas, tenias que recoger en recepcion.
