We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. The rooms are really small. The hotel made no effort to do anything special for the event unlike other hotels. There is a 15 dollar per day resort charge that isn't mentioned when you book. The hotel is just far enough out of town to be inconvenient, though there is a car service. Wouldn't stay again […] . Service was not up to par with the quality of the property. Many examples, including: 1. Tried calling front desk, then operator, twice one evening and nobody answered after long wait on phone - what quality hotel doesnt promptly (or ever) pick up calls from guests??; 2. Soap for shower was not replaced for two days after it was completely used up; […] 3. Several snacks in room had expired shelf lives, including one item that showed a 2010 expiration and another item that showed a 4 month old expiration. I spoke with the person servicing the in-room snacks, explaining the issue and asking him to replace my expired snack items. He said his boss didnt want to replace expired items AND he never replaced the stale snacks after being asked; 4. the wait staff in the 6th floor lounge spends more time talking to each other and checking their cell phones than servicing the food/drink bars. I had to ask for the coffee and sugar to be refilled several times while they just stood talking in the adjacent room; 5. While having lunch at the lobby bar the bartender/server was busy coming and going from bar area and difficult to get his attention. Only positive was that my concierge promptly had a shirt ironed for me prior to a formal reception. Very sub-par service for the quality of hotel property. Needs new management. Mehr

The Hacienda was wonderful! The happy hour and breakfast were fantastic and staff were incredibly kind. Butler service was unecessary and they tacked on a random fee at the last minute right when we arrived and had not let us know in advance. That was not cool. Other than that, GREAT experience! Right in the heart of the Plaza area.

Being off the square a bit isn't a bother since the hotel has the shuttle to get you back and forth. We only waited at most 3 minutes to be taken anywhere. We would definately stay again!

Stayed at the Hacienda with my wife and 2 kids. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean. We had a room with 2 double beds. The only complaints would have to be that the beds were a bit too small. It felt more like an oversized twin bed. Also the room didn't have a luggage rack or iron. Found that a bit odd. I would stay there again, […] but would probably look to a larger room with a king sized bed. Mehr

Really enjoyed staying here during the holidays. Service was excellent and the room was quite nice.

Check in was easy. Room was comfortable and quiet. Van to city center was very convenient.

Wonderful place, and a tremendous staff. Our room was lovely, complete with a complimentary fruit basket and a personal invitation to the evening cheese/wine/beer gathering. Everyone was very gracious and friendly.

The Hacienda exceeded our expectations. It's a beautiful, well maintained property. On arrival, we were checked into a dark room with little natural light. I had mentioned in the reservation that my husband is visually impaired, and staying in this room would have been a challenge. Despite being fully booked, our butler worked with the staff to move […] us across the hall into a lovely, well lit room. Our stay was a pleasure. All the staff was polite and helpful. Convenient shuttle service took us back and forth to wine tastings and Canyon Road. We tend to stay closer to Canyon Road, but we are making this our new favorite in Santa Fe, and so should you! Stayed at the Hacienda side...reasonably nice but over priced. Friends stayed in a 'suite' on the hotel side and could barely fit in their room. Just a bit of a tired property. Not terrible but not worth the rate.

Although a bit out of the way re:downtown shops, restaurants, etc., Hotel Santa Fe is beautifully run,with friendly & efficient staff, and the best food of any place we ate.The Hacienda wing with its small & modest Spa facility, has the newest rooms which were lovely. The massage therapists in the Spa were all very good. The pool area is small but has […] an outdoor hot tub & was not crowded in early June except on weekends when children could be noisy. Positives are the complimentary shuttle service all day between 8 am & 10 PM to all locations in 4-mile radius of Hotel and free delicious breakfast in the Hacienda wing. This hotel is beautiful and has excellent service such as a butler and bed turn down. The weekend we were there the lounge had an award winning Native American flute player. Excellent staff and super close to down town.

I chose this hotel because internet, parking and breakfast were included in the rate. Butler service was also included, which was an added bonus. The butlers took very good care of us. Taxi service was fast and convenient. My only complaint is that the walls are thin and we could hear conversations in the next room.

If you are on a trip to see Santa Fe - downtown - this is a great place for a jumping off point for walking the area. Its about 10 minute walk to old down-town with all the shops and the capital building. The state visitor center is only a mile away and has pamplets and maps of all parts of the state for just about ANY kind of activity you can think […] of. Room was clean and free of any distractions from outside noises. Restaurant was execellent, but somewhat crowded. Staff was awesome and helped me locate the restaurant my dad had visited 25 years before based only on a name Rancho de Chimayo. Dont try and find this place at night - it has great food but is way outside Santa Fe. Room we had was a bit small. However, when we go back we will upgrade to a suite for the views and a bit more space. Mehr

We were confused as there were two addresses listed and two separate names for the hotel. I guess it depends on your approach as to which address is used? The hotel decor was absolutely beautiful as well as the room. I know it is winter time but the grounds were horrible. They really need to hire someone to cleanup the grounds. Conveniently located only a short walk from the center of Santa Fe. The service from the entire staff was exceptional. The breakfast and afternoon reception are a big plus as is the availability of the shuttle which was always prompt and accommodating.

The Hacienda is adjacent to the Hotel Santa Fe, but worlds apart. The building is quiet, the in-room fireplaces are great and the service (and butlers) are excellent. Our only complaints...no fridge in the room (although the free breakfast is really nice) and no mirror in the bedroom...the bath does have a huge floor length mirror and one above the […] sink. Great place...good location, free shuttle and close to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. Mehr

Excellent service --very warm, welcoming Room and bed very comfortable and clean Shuttle drivers were informative and took you everywhere so the location was OK even though you were not in the center of the Old Town No views

We had a beautiful suite - large living area with fireplace, free water bottles, great bathroom, quiet. Breakfast was included - order the bluecorn blueberry pancakes! parking is free. great locally sourced salad restaurant within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again - we go to Santa Fe for the opera

From the personal greeting and excellent customer service from the Butlers, this Hotel is one of the finest places my wife and I have ever stayed at. The restaurant is 4 stars and very reasonable. Except for an annoying squeek in an exterior door just outside our room, the Hacienda was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet for its location just off of a busy intersection. The staff was very friendly and extremely courteous. Not close to the Plaza but an easy 15 min walk.

We had a great time in this hotel, we stayed at the Hacienda, it is very good.

The room was large and comfortable. We loved the bathroom-roomy and clean. The breakfast buffet at the Hacienda was adequate but go to the main hotel restaurant-in addition to the buffet, you can order hot breakfasts from the menu for a minimal charge(I think it was $4 ) That being said-for the price, I expected a little more attention to detail. No […] bathrobes in our room until the last evening(we were there for 3 days) We had a coffee pot in the room, but no coffee, The internet was useless-hardly any signal at all in our room-dial-up would have been faster. Rooms very dark-except for reading in bed. We could have been a little more demanding, but that's just not our style. The negatives were minor, but like I mentioned earlier, for the price, there should have been more attention to detail. Mehr

I highly recommend this hotel as long as your room is booked at the Hacienda portion of the hotel. Great location, great free breakfast, nice fitness center and spa, helpful and nice staff. The room was cozy and perfect.

We stayed in the Hacienda part of the hotel. It was a seperate building from the main hotel. It was a wonderful room with tons of space to unpack all of our things and still have room to play for a toddler and all of his things (including a pack-n-play and toys). The balcony is private and safe for a toddler, as well. It was a mix of families and couples, […] but it was very quiet and relaxing. Besides the huge room and bathroom (which has an amazing shower!), you have a butler (which everyone really shares) to call on for anything you may need. They also have London taxis to drive you anywhere you'd like to go. You can walk to the railroad yard which has shopping and resturaunts or take the free taxi to the plaza or Canyon Rd. The hotel is surrounded by the nicest resturaunts. We couldn't find anything cheap like a taco bell or a KFC. All in all it was a wonderful hotel and we loved the continental breakfast in our own private dinning/lounge room. Great hotel and spa. Mehr

They do everything right at this hotel! The Native artwork that is in the rooms and hallways is quite superb. The butlers are very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Wonderful attention to detail.

The Hacienda and Spa at the Hotel Santa Fe was a delightful, well-run, comfortable, and reasonably priced alternative to others closer to the Plaza. Still, it is only a 15 min interesting walk. They have a first-class shuttle service as well.I'd definitely stay there again.

This hotel is owned by native americans and the artwork, displayed throughout, is magnificent. Just talking to the staff is a lesson in history.

We didn't realize that the Hacienda was a new addition to the Hotel Santa Fe. The service was great and the butlers, yes real ones, were both helpful and super friendly. We learned more about Santa Fe this weekend than on previous visits. Although the hotel is a few blocks out of the mainstream district, the hotel provided shuttles transported us, at […] a few minutes notice, to wherever we wanted to go in town. The Hacienda was just like staying at someone's home. It was very spacious with a fireplace and 4 door armoire for storage. It had a wonderful breakfast buffet that came with the room. Every detail was covered with such care. I usually stay at condos, so this hotel was perfect! It was in great walking distance to the plaza as well.

Very nice Southwestern room and much more than a "continental breakfast". Staff was helpful and free yoga on the spa deck was wonderful! We also had a great meal at their restaurant. The location was in a new area near the Railrunner train, Farmers Market and some very upscale galleries in new modern spaces. The 15 minute walk to the Plaza was refreshing […] although the hotel has a free shuttle service. Mehr

Our stay could not have been better. Staff and facilities were what would be expected of a much more expensive hotel.
