Room was very dirty. Sheets on the bed were stained along with the towels in the bathroom. No toilet paper in the bathroom and the hotel is extremely noisy. Definitely would not recommend.

The room stunk of some kind of cleaner so badly that within 10 minutes I was sick. While my husband was frantically trying to air the place out, I thought I would call the front office to alert them to the problem but the phone did not work. He checked the connections but to no avail. As I sat on the sponge bed wondering what to do as all the area hotels […] were booked, I noticed the drapery looked like it hadn't been cleaned in five years or so and oh surprise, the TV remote didn't work either. There were no washcloths, cups, little bottles of soap...NOTHING! For the price we had to pay as a result of the local hotel bidding wars that weekend, we were extremely disappointed. A complaint to management resulted in a courteous "upgrade". This room was a little larger with a two person jacuzzi but, more importantly, I could breathe a little easier. It still smelled like a cheesy room; stale smoke, booze, flop house smell but it was a little better than the room from h%$$. The hotel guests in the room behind ours came in at 3am, drunk, raising cain till 5am. We got up at 5am to get ready for the trade show we were in all weekend. I just want to say thanks to those people who feel they are more important than anyone else so they don't have to exercise any common sense or be respectful of those who paid to sleep in this dump. We have stayed here several times. We love it's proximity to Foxwoods and LOVE the Tempur-Pedic beds. It's not the fanciest of hotels, but it's clean, very comfortable and affordable. You've got to love the whirlpools in every room! They even have a limo to take you too and from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casions if you choose. I would highly recommend […] this hotel! Mehr

Desk clerk on duty at 9 pm barely capable of greeting customer and taking check-in info.

It took a solid 5 minutes before I was acknowledged when I got there. The desk lady was on the office phone & a cell phone at the same time. I was told to call when I was ready for the limo but no one ever answered the phone. I had to walk to the lobby for assistance. No big deal but customer service levels were sub-par. Not enough towels available […] in the bathroom. Make sure you ask for more. The toilet seat would not stay up on it's own. Had to hold it. All minor issues but worth mentioning. They were very friendly and nice and did a great job to make me comfodtablei very much enjoyed the room and jaquzzi tub and bed was great

when we checked in to our room in Ct. the bed still had dirty bedding on it,there was dirty towels all over the floors.We went back down to the lobby explained this to them,they then changed our room.Went in to new room, phone did not work,remote for the t.v. did not work and when my wife went to use the bathroom she had to clean the urine off the seat. […] One heck of a way to spend my birthday. Although the hotel had suttle service to and from casino, the limo driver was on his phone updating his status on Facebook. When we arrived to our room, the complimentary coffee pot was dirty and there was an open bag of coffee, no cups or creamer to go in the coffee. The bathroom did not have any towels and when we asked for some, we received 2. The […] bed did have clean sheets but they were stained and only had one blanket and 2 small pillows for a king size bed. The women working the front desk was less than nice to us when we checked in. close to beach and casino. Nice set-up...seperate buildings containing 3-4 rooms in each.. fire pit and benches in outdoor area.comp. shuttle to casino available. The bed was really comfortable, the mirror was really dirty that was behind the bed, the shower curtain was moldy on the bottom & upon leaving and checking under bed, discovered a used condomn...not […] mine. Not as good as it was 3 years ago but far from the Bates motel other reviewers said. Staff is friendly, area is quiet and although some things are dated, well worth the price.

Except for the shower in the room, everything was satisfactory. The handheld shower leaked at the connection on the wall. There was absolutely no power to the spray. The overhead shower head only dribbled water even when the handheld shower was shut off!

The hotel staff were very accommodating. The room with the two double beds was large with a large bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable for sleeping. The room was clean. The location to Foxwoods Resort Casino is very close. They have a free limo service to and from Foxwoods Resort Casino. All you had to do is tip the driver. The price was very […] resonable. Mehr

Everything was acceptable. Breakfast was a nice surprise. Room was hot when I got there, heater was on 80 deg F. Thermostat worked fine to shut it off. Shhets on 1 of the beds did not appear to have been changed, but other bed was fine.

Good value and location, but not true to what I paid for. Pulled in and asked about limo shuttle. Front desk said "go settle in and call us later- no problem!". Got to room: tv, cable, heater, phone, all unplugged. Took heater 15 minutes to turn on. Phone completely dead. Finally went over to lobby to see about shuttle again and found the shuttle was […] "overbooked" and would not be available for an hour at least. Had to take own car to casino. Got back to room around midnight, found bathroom empty of toilet paper! No extra rolls! Couldnt call front desk since our phone was dead!! No faceloths in bathroom or even a bath mat. 2 bath towels and that was it. Overall very disappointed in quality of this room and service. Thankfully it was clean. just very run down and lacking a lot. Mehr

very disappointed,had to climb a flyte of strairs outside,the "suite" was a tiny room with a small bathroom.heavy smell of bleach as we entered the room. breakfast was pretty good though,will not return.

We were upset about the dirty bedsheets and that the room was cold all night.

The hotel atmosphere was nice, peaceful and relaxing. Staff were friendly. Didn't stay long enough to evaluate more. I love the hotel setting and style. One thing I must say is that I was very unhappy about the bedding sheets. The sheets were old and stained on both beds, so we had to sleep on the blankets. So we slept without blankets on a cold night. […] Also, the blankets are too thin for these Connecticut woods, and there were no extra blankets. I would stay here again only if they provide cleaner beds to sleep in. I did like the atmosphere and comfort level other than that. But for their rate, I at least expect clean sheets. Loction was good for our needs. Window was broken and very hard to close. The room was cold and the climate control system did not work.

We stayed because we had tickets for a comedy show at Foxwoods. Didn't know they had Lilmo service until 3am. A real stretch limo! Recommended donation for fare. $5 for Foxwoods and $10 for Mohegan Sun each way per person. About the same I give a valet anyway. Nice room, Tempu-pedic bed was very nice. Have fun when you go!!

We wanted someplace to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. I booked a smoking room with a whirlpool that would benefit our bodies. That was the biggest feature we were looking forward to. After our dinner, we disconvered we were in a non-smoking room with a whirlpool that didn't work. After reading some of the previous reviews of this facility, I was reluctant to book. However, the price and location were right. The bed was a super comfy memory foam and the room was very clean. The Foxwoods Casino is minutes away on a very direct route. I will definitely stay here again!

After the first night, everything was great. We had a room where the limo service was outside of our room. Was rather noisy, but the following two nights were great. I would stay there again, but would want a room away from the lobby or not book for a Saturday night.

We have stayed at Cedar Park Whirlpool Suites twice and both times were impressed with the place. The staff are very nice and all the beds are Tempur-Pedic and VERY comfortable! It's not the fanciest place, but it's clean, comfortable and close to Foxwoods! (Much cheaper than staying at Foxwoods.) When we arrived found many younger people there & it was noisy. We talked to staff & were immediately up graded to a very quiet & spacious room. Staff could not have been more accommodating. Very nice grounds. Rooms need some maintenance.

This hotel was a great experience it was close to the Casino, and very clean, the price was also good. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the future.

We were upgraded at no extra charge. Nice surprise. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet, liked the feel of the place and am pleased to recommend to others!

Our short stay was very convenient as well as very relaxing. We found to within driving distance of everything. The staff was ver polite and the overall hotel was well worth the stay. If you enjoy a little seclusion with your wife/husband while keeping to budget, this place certainly does the trick. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH OUR HOTEL STAY. THE STAFF WAS AMAZING! THE ONLY COMPLIANT I HAD WAS THERE WAS SODA AND A JAR OF CHEESE IN OUR FRIDGE AND HAIR IN THE WHIRLPOOL. The "suite" sounded nicer than it was. The room was pretty small, the bathroom smelled bad and the showers water pressure was horrible so i cant imagine what it would be like to use the jets in the tub. The people who worked there were nice though, I would go back for a one night stay but probably not any longer.

I reserved a deluxe room with two queen beds. I got to my room and it was a deluxe with two full beds. When I went back to the checkin office I was told there were no queen rooms and no concessions were made for them not having the room I had a confirmed reservation for.

have stayed here 3 times and would go again. staff is pleasant and helpful. the room was clean and comfortable. could not hear noises from other rooms even though we knew they where occupied.

Really loved this place. Nice to sit by the fire at night and actually ran into someone who's brother we knew. (He was nice enough to take the boys fishing on his boat. Thanks Mike). Very disappointing and past its prime; comfortable bed, but very poor interior design, broken ironing board, and paper-thin walls. We were woken at 4 AM by a couple fighting next door. Continental Breakfast was ok and there is a cute outdoor breakfast area and BBQ setup. Only 2 decent places to eat within several miles.

if your looking for a cheap place close to casinos this is alright but dont count on a romantic whirlpool getaway, this aint it. service is horrible, getting towels was like pulling teeth and when we did get them they were stained, bedding had pills which were like sandpaper which negated the comfort of the tempupedic. stayed twice both in the "luxury" […] king room. first time had a big room nice shower second time had a tiny room with coffin like shower. both times the jets in the whirlpool didnt work, not that it was clean enough to want to get into. theres better hotels with shuttle service for the same price in the area Mehr

The layout of the hotel is strange, and some parts of the facility are not very well maintained. All of the rooms (even the bathrooms) have a triangular layout, which is a little strange. But the mattresses are all Tempurpedic, which is a big plus, and the rooms are clean. The hotel was very nice, great location. Hotel room was very clean. Disappointed in the shower (extremely low pressure), slightly disappointed with "breakfast" offerings- waffle, cereal bars, english muffin and coffee (without cups) and no juice offered ok but not something we visited on our second day. Funny thing was that they fogot to leave an extra […] roll of toliet paper in the room, just what was left on the roll, they gave me TP when requested but then took out the "extra" roll the next morning, a bit strange.I would stay here again, happy for what we paid through hotels.com I would be disappionted if we paid the advertised "daily rate". We arrived after a six hour drive and was told we could not check in for an hour. Having 2 children in the car for a long time they then said wait let me see if we have a room. Needless to say we were checked in and in our room in 5 minutes. The maid service was excellent, even better then expected. She was extremely friendy and brought us new towels […] hot and fresh from the dryer the minute our showers were complete. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room layout was excellent.....my kids really enjoyed the hot tub as it was clean and the jets kicked....would recommend to anyone. Stayed here for a quick one night getaway because it's fairly close to the RI beaches. The place itself was fairly quiet and seemed built to code, could have been a nice place if only it was clean. Upon check in, there was dirt on the floor, previous guests spare change lying around, food crumbs on the tables and floor, old coffee cups and plastic ware […] left out on the porch, trash in the restroom and a medical-grade cotton swab lying next to the trash can in the bedroom. I politely asked the clerk at the desk to have the room cleaned, since it was obvious that the linens were changed but not much else was done, and we were heading out for a few hours. He said it was supposed to have been cleaned but that he would take care of it. When we returned, nothing had been done. Since it was late I didn't pursue action, we really only needed a place to sleep for one night, and I have been in worse places. However, for the price paid, we should have felt comfortable to use the facilities in the room, which we were not. The shower seemed clean-ish, but had no water pressure. Literally a trickle. We did not dare try the whirlpool in place that hadn't even been swept. Overall, I would not stay there again, and cannot recommend it due to the poor cleanliness. If the staff took up responsibility and took care of the place, it could be very nice someday. Mehr
