I really enjoyed staying at the Park Plaza - they offered a reasonable rate, were located almost across the street from Victoria Station, and just down the road from several excellent restaurants. The room itself (I went for the upgrade) was quiet, comfortable, and welcoming. My only complaint was the front desk. They appeared clueless from the checkin […] process until the checkout. How do I call another room? Not sure. Do you have the reservation for another member in the party? Hard to say. When will the room be ready? Can you check back? ... It just seemed that they were unprepared for the hospitality part of their job. That said, the hotel was quite perfect in all other respects. Not sure why their reception staff was so bad, but that was the only reason I did not give all 5s in the review Mehr

The hotel was great, except for the weather being unseasonably warm and the hotel cooling system was still in winter mode. (No AC) The only bad part of our stay had nothing to do with the hotel, they were tearing up Victoria Station for a remodel and it made things interesting trying to get going. Once on the Underground things were fine, just the construction […] was making things difficult for all the surrounding hotels. Mehr

The location is great. It's literally two blocks (max) from the London Victoria tube station / Victoria rail station / Victoria bus station. This means that if you're flying to Gatwick airport, you have easy access to the Gatwick express train (a short 30 minute ride for ~$28), easy access to taking day trips outside of London (train station), easy […] access to all of London (3 tube lines intersect at Victoria station!), and easy access to the bus station for day trips. Also, Victoria station is really in the heart of London - a short walk away from Buckingham palace and some of the main sites. The hotel itself is nice, especially for London standards! Like most London buildings, the building isn't the newest, but it's got everything you look for in a hotel room - mostly, a comfortable and CLEAN room. At least, that's what I look for. They provide FREE internet, which is nice. If you want faster service, it's only 5 pounds, which is a lot less than most hotels! So yes, I think it's a great find and I'd stay there again. I travel a lot for work and pleasure, and I'm glad that I've found my London go-to. Mehr

We liked this hotel mostly for its great location in the heart of historic London. This hotel is within easy walking distance of many historical sites such as Westminster Abby, the House of Commons & Big Ben, Trafalger Square, Buckingham Castle, etc. It is also close to the British Museum and several theatres. We also enjoyed the extra optional breakfast […] package that also included the use of 1st flr executive lounge which we enjoyed most afternoons were we had some wine & snacks after a long day walking around downtown London. This package also included the high speed internet access. We took our breakfasts in the exec. lounge too since it was so peaceful and relaxing. Mehr

Flying in to Gatwick and continuing through Heathrow can be a tough connection. We elected to fly in to Gatwick and then take the Gatwick Express to the Victoria Station. It was a very short walk to the Park Plaza Victoria where we stayed overnight. There are lots of places for dinner, including the Queen Arms Pub and many for breakfast close by as […] well. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are quite large for London. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our only issue during the stay was the lack of air conditioning that time of the year. It was unseasonably warm and we could not get the room to cool down. I wish they would have warned us at check in not to turn the air on, because it just made things worse. The next day we were able to make a short walk back to Victoria Station and take the Tube, with one easy transfer to Heathrow. All in all a great hotel with a reasonable price and fantastic location. The hotel was perfectly situated for our trip to see Wicked the musical. Reception was clean and welcoming, staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean however there was a large stain on the carpet which looked like it hadn't been cleaned. There were no biscuits with the tea/coffee facilities which I found quite strange for a 4* hotel. It took […] us a while to work out how to use the shower. The hairdryer was useless as you had to hold the button down whilst using it and there was little power. The air con in the room did not work and just blew out warm air and the heating seemed to be on in the whole hotel very high which made it very uncomfortable. We had the window open however this made little difference and we had a very restless nights sleep. We did not have breakfast as this cost an extra £15 each. For the price we paid I would not rate this hotel 4* and wouldn't stay again. Mehr

Some problems with a non-working room telephone at start of trip but this was soon sorted out. Very helpful staff, and in particular the lady at the reception - Justyna, who allowed me a late check-out and full use of the gym and shower facilties before making my way to Heathrow for an overnight flight: nice touch. Will be back at this hotel.

usuaaly i complain about the hotels, so i am a difficult guest but this hotel was very well. my room wiew was not very well but it was silent...sometişmes neighbours woke me up this was the only problem....location and cleanless and stuff were good..bathroom was small ...still it will be my first choice for london in future

The hotel is in a great location for getting to/from airport and good base for seeing the sights. It's a nice hotel and comfortable, however I would question the classification of their "superior" rooms - supposed to have a king size bed and windows opening to views of the city - in reality the bed was no bigger than a standard double and the 5th floor […] windows opened to a view of a side street - when I questioned it with reception, they insisted we were indeed in a superior room and that the bed was a king! I've no problem with the room as a standard double but a superior it certainly was not. That being said, the location was the reason we chose the hotel and you can't fault that. Mehr

Long bathtub, nice rooms. VERY close to Victoria tube to get around while probably being a good locale for business; I was hoping to be near more of city activity. Good quiet area and friendly staff.

Service was fine, we stayed in January and the heatnig in the room was way too much, ended up having to open windows to try and cool off. The A/C cold setting pumped out hot air. Also the TV was broken. Stayed one night.

We stayed for three night and wanted a comfortable place to relax between busy days in London, and we got what we wanted. Very nice staff and clean. We definitely will come back.

Booked the hotel for a birthday surprise for my girlfriend We went to see wicked the musical at the Apollo which about 100metres down the road So it was idea The hotel was clean and very nice Staff were very polite and helpfull Room was great The resturant in the hotel jb's was fantastic very helpfull waiter food was great and not to expensive for cental […] London Only only negative I can say is the room was detailed to have city views All we could see was the road Would stay here again and recommend it strongly :) Mehr

This hotel is really good for its location as it is right near Victoria Train Station. It is also close to the Hop on, Hop off Bus (also next to Vic.Train station) The hotel also has largish rooms and the reception and concierge's are excellent. Very friendly, efficient staff. Did not eat breakfast in the hotel but it looked good. Street in which hotel […] is, has lots of fine cafeterias and shops. We had two minor issues in the room: toilet overflowed and a light bulb was broken. After one phone call to housekeeping (they passed on the broken light bulb to maintence), both issues were resolved. Will definitely be back to this hotel. Mehr

Very reasonable price for this high quality hotel. Staff on check in was great. I had requested an early check in and my room was ready when I arrived at 11 am. Location is fantastic - walk to everything. Lots of nice restaurants within a couple blocks. Concierge (Denny) was extremely helpful.

Good location, with Victoria tube station near by and plenty of cafes and restaurants. Also has a huge Sainsburys 5 minutes down the road should you need any supplies. Helpful hotel staff. Dealt well with the requirements of having a child in their hotel.

The location of this hotel was perfect! We were able to walk to several of London's famous attractions. We also took a tour of the city on a bus which we were able to board just 2 blocks away. The rooms were very comfortable and large with a nice size closet, mini fridge, ironing board, iron, hair dryer and safe. I was very pleased to see that they […] had installed USA plugs in the room for our convenience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to London who want to walk to all the sites. There is a lot of construction going on downtown to prepare for the Olympics so being able to walk to the must see sights is very important. I would stay here again! Mehr

Having been to London many times, I find this hotel meets every possible need and in a very professional fashion. Location, location, location. You can walk or take the tube which is steps away. We booked this hotel because we were going on a trip from Victoria Station and this hotel was the nearest we could find. We had a good room and its location was great. Breakfast was good and because we were there for two days we had a package which worked out very good. Would definitely stay here again if we are up in London and need to be that way […] and would recommend to anyone who wanted to stay in that area of London. Mehr

Excellent assitence staff were always reactive fravourably to any requests. location was perfect to theaters shows taxis at the door of hotel and train MRT station 2 minutes walk. Free use of computer and internet available 24hrs. We upgraded to excetive room and was not dissappointed, small view (at least not a brick wall) large room, bed very comfortable. The location of Park Plaza Victoria is excellent. You are close to everything. It's close to Victoria Station, Westminster Abbey, Parliament and Buckingham Palace. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, also Sainsbury's supermarket. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. After staying in a loud university dorm room for most of the week, I found this room pleasantly quiet and spacious. The room and hotel were comfortable and clean, and reminded me very much of high-end American hotels. My room even had a standard USA 120 volt AC socket. This would be a great base for exploring London.

Little surprised with the size of Executive Room but very nice bed and Nespresso coffee maker, free bottled water were helpful. Hotel staff are very attendable with informative. One of the best was, the location!!! very easy accese to everywhere~

Great location, nice clean room with moder amenities

The Park Plaza Victoria surpassed my expectations. The location was perfect for our trips around London on the tube and for our train ride to Gatwick. The hotel was large, airy and spacious. Our room was large (even by North American standards) and well-appointed (bathrobes, slippers, nespresso machine, kettle, mini-bar, bottled water). Helpful hotel […] staff and great service. I was initially wary of staying near a train station (two women), but those concerns were allayed when we discovered the quiet neighbourhood with restaurants, stores and supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsbury) a block or two from the hotel away from Victoria Station. Very friendly and helpful staff. This hotel is in a great position in regards to sight seeing...they will organise tours for you. Victoria train station & local bus stops are extremely close. Restaurants and supermarket only 50-100 yards/metres away.

We chose the Park Plaza Victoria for its proximity to Victoria Station, as we were attending a two-day event at Crystal Palace. We were happy to discover an excellent neighborhood of restaurants on the same street as the hotel. Although we stayed only one night, we slept very well on the comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Park Plaza is a high quality hotel with excellent location, only 5 minutes from London Victoria, ideal if you travel via Gatwick. Access to underground system is also very convenient. If you move further away from London Victoria, the street is full of nice restaraunts with a local character. The room was large for London standards, a plus for the spatious […] and well equipped bathroom. Overall acceptable standard even for a business traveller. One small remark, key board to the TV did not work. It was not fixed despite requests made to the concierge. Mehr

It's a really nice, modern, spacious and friendly hotel. The location is perfect, the food was very good, the room was clean and comfortable and quiet. An excellent choice! I will most certainly stay there again!!

Brilliant location. A 2-minute walk from Victoria Station. 15-minute walk to Westminster and Parliament. Hotel staff were very nice. The room was spacious and our requests were met promptly.
