The Lighthouse Resort Inn & Suites - Fort Myers Beach

Der verwinkelte Bau hat Charm. Der Service läßt zu wünschen übrig, aber wenn man nachhakt, dann wird das was fehlt relativ schnell gebracht. Besser ist es, kein Schlafzimmer zum Hof zu haben, da wegen der Tiki-Bar jeden Abend laute Musik spielt (manchmal aber auch sehr gute Musik!).

Mtten im Geschehen und dennoch sehr angenehm und erholsam, alles schell und einfach zu erreichen. Die Tiki Bar sehr gut geeignet, um den ereignisreichen Tag bei einem Getränk und guter Music abzurunden.

Das Hotel liegt ca. 200 m vom Strand entfernt. das Hotel ist soweit ok, aber: Im Innenhof, am Pool befindet sich die "TIKI-Bar". Von 16 Uhr bis 1 Uhr morgens ist die Verstärkeranlage in Betrieb oder es finden live-Musik Veranstaltungen statt. Dementsprechend wenig Ruhe !

Schönes, älteres Hotel in den bekannten Kolonial Stil. Am, oder mit am Hotel ist die berühmte "Tiki Bar" intergriert. Wichtig: Zimmer an der Außenseite des Hotels verlangen da die Bar bis 2 Uhr nachts geöffnet hat. Freundliche nette Bedienung und sauber. Vom Hotel in 2 min zum "Time Square" wo sich verschiedene Restaurants und Beachbars befinden.

In der Beschreibung hiess es, das Hotel liege am Strand, aber das trifft nicht zu. Es liegt an einer stark befahrenen Kreuzung, auch wenn es bis zum Strand nicht weit ist. Das Hotel liegt in der Vergnügungszone, mit vielen Shops und Restaurants. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat für uns nicht gestimmt, denn das Zimmer war klein.

jeden abend happy hour essen... gut, doch tiki bar sehr laut bis spät in die nacht. deshalb zimmer im hinteren bereich wählen!

Zimmer 615 - tiptop inkl. Kitchenette Personen welche Ihre Ruhe suchen, werden hier wohl kaum glücklich denn dank der Tiki-Bar herrscht immer Betrieb mit dementsprechendem Lärmpegel. Hätte ich morgens ausschlafen wollen, wäre dies nicht möglich gewesen, da ziemlich früh (dh kurz nach 7 Uhr) der Gebäudeunterhalt den hinteren Balkon mit einem äusserst […] lauten Sauger/Gebläse gereinigt hat Top Lage zum Strand und eigentlichen Kern von Fort Myers Beach. Es empfiehlt sich rechtzeitig vor Ort zu sen, da nur ein beschränktes Parkplatzangebot zur Verfügung steht und die Hotelparkplätze sehr gerne von den externen Gästen der Tiki Bar benutzt werden. Ansonsten muss man halt einen der kostenpflichtigen Tagesparkplätze (5-6$) nutzen. Mehr

Ein sehr gutes Hotel. Zu Fuss ist man im nu am Strand, Shops oder Restaurants. Wegen der Tiki-Bar ist es halt etwas laut. Aber uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Have stayed here numerous times over the past ten years. Convenient location, prices are reasonable. Room wasn't ready until after 5:00. Understandable, as it was during a holiday weekend. We had a lot of fun. If you want quiet you need to go down the road. But this place was a party all night with the tiki bar in the middle of it all.

It is a really nice motel. We enjoyed ourselves . there is food , drinks and music right there at the motel . They have a really nice Tiki Bar. They have 2 full size swimming pools which the grandkids loved. We spent 3 nights and had a great time.

Cleaning lady was VERY rude!!!

Location is perfect! Hotel complex was cute as heck with a cute theme....pool areas a cute and tiki bar was adorable. Some of the units were adorable and updated but unfortunately the unit we were in needed updating bad. Beat up pretty bad but clean. I would stay there again and again was in prime location to walk to everywhere we wanted to go!

The pics on the website are very deceiving. Not as modern as it looks. Outside is cute and the tiki bar was fun. Liked the food. The problem was it took us an hour to find our room. Our key was #623. We asked a guest who had the same problem the previous day, a housekeeper who had no idea and the bartender who pointed the bldg out. After running the […] floors, we found it on the third floor. The accommodations were excellent Convenient to everything. No car rental needed and if you wish togo to the marina a cab is on $5. Could not ask for anything better.

I booked a King Suite and was stuck in the back of the hotel looking at the trash bins. Had to sleep on the sofa bed to have air conditioning as bedroom could not be cooled by AC. Make sure you ask for what you paid for or you may get stuck in a dumpy room. They state free internet but you can't get it from your room. Have to go to the restaurant. Very convenient location in middle of Fort Myers beach activity. Convenient bar/restaurant open until 2 am located in center of hotel as well. Hotel was CLEAN - yay! Overall very happy with my stay. Accommodated all 6 of us in 2 bedroom suite very nicely.

The website photos are deceiving. They don't show the Tiki Hut just outside our room, playing head banging drum music from 4PM to avfer 2AM. The pool and painted exterior is tropical cute but you can't see the gravel parking lot that is the view from the other window. The location was great, you could walk to everything. The rooms were clean and colorful. But I would not stay there again. It was definitely more of a college spring break hotel. Not so much a place for 40 somethings. The Tiki bar was cool, but loud because the bar is in the middle of the rooms. There were cats walking all around, it just didn't make […] me want to eat there. The hotel is just off the highway, the room we stayed is just under the bridge. We could feel the vibration of the bridge when the cars passing by.

Hotel needs some updating. Lot of noise all the time. Great location to beach.

the location of the inn was great. had problem with extending at the same rate as hotels.com, as previously promised. furniture in room not great. room pretty clean and well equipped for a longer stay. parking not always easy but bus service nearby.

Wonderful place to stay and would go back in a minute. Right across the street from Times Square and the beach. Rooms with balconies overlooking the pool and Tiki Bar more than made up for not being right on the beach. Loved it.

She stayed at a 300 a night hotel on beach and she hated it. She loved our room! Be prepared for late night noise from the Tiki Bar though!

Hotel has a great location. Not the safest place there is as the balcony door would not lock at least in our room. The noice from the Tiki-bar can disturb in the middle of the night. And parking sports are sparse.

A quick walk to the beach. Cool tiki hotel bar!

Location is across the street from the beach in Ft Myers Beach. The Teke Hut and pool were great. Good place for family fun.

Probably had the most night life activity going on both Friday and Saturday evening at the Tiki Bar If this is what you where looking for, lots of fun........

We stayed in 2 rooms because we added a day right before we arrived. 1st room 166 a single smaller nice no problems. 2nd room 157 king suite. Both near the pool near the tiki bar near the beach, but still felt like a private get away.We have already decided when we come back this is where we will stay. Employees were helpful with restaurant recommendations […] and questions in general. No problems parking and you couldn't be closer to all the action than here A beautiful place . We will be back. This hotel has a Tiki Bar located right in the middle so rooms are very noisey. They have live music everynight. They also didn't have any hand towels that was weird. If you asked for oone you were given wash cloths and said that is all we have really for 4 nights. Anyway not a very friendly place wouldn't stay there again or recomend it.

Loved the hotel!! We enjoyed the location...close to all the action and music. The full kitchen saved us money..enjoyed eating breakfast on the balcony. Very nice sized rooms. If you came to party..this is the place for you!!

Great Location to the Beach; "Hot Spot" Tiki Bar ... The room although in need of some minor repairs was clean and comfy. The Resort is only a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach where there are several casual restaurants and shops. This is a nice place to stay. The rooms are nice & have a lot of room in them. We just wished the pools didn't close so early. We think that 9pm would have been a better time since we could not go to dinner then get to use the pool for some time in the evening.

The place was old and our room was moldy smelling. Very shabby and carpet was dirty looking and stained around fridge. My husband went to front desk and said we were unhappy about the room and they never offered to change so we checked out next day. We had booked for 4 days. The air conditioner unit was a side of bed which blew right on your face. The […] band played until 11:00 PM, or if they got tips, longer. It was more of a neighbourhood type bar. Also had no internet service you had to find a place outside. We left and found a better one and cheaper. . Mehr

Has wonderful courtyard each with a pool, great tiki hut bar and grill. Fun atmosphere. Hotel prime location to times square. hotel could use a bit of updating in the guest rooms and I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite.

Enjoyed my stay thoroughly!

The place had a live band, bar food, nice mixers, and fun people. We went to a couple other places on the beach, but returned to the Lighthouse for a lot of fun.

I can't say enough good things about this resort! I brought my mom here for a getaway & we both loved this place. Rooms are cozy & well equipped. There is nothing pretentious about this place. The vibe is the perfect combination of relaxation & fun...makes for a great vacation! The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome (Stan is the MAN!) […] The beach is within walking distance, though they have 2 swimming pools on site. The Tiki Bar has tasty drinks, great bar food, the clientele are fun and welcoming and I was able to watch all the football I wanted! I would absolutely stay here again. Mehr

always enjoy staying here. it is close to the center of ft myers beach, great tiki bar and restaurant, and friendly staff. rooms a bit dated, but clean.

The first room we were assigned was very small and narrow. the front door opened right in front of the bed. the blinds didnt meet the edges of the window and the window was in front of the parking lot. this particular room also was near the TIki bar which was having karaoke night and the sounds traveled very well, unfortunately. but it was the smell […] of overflowed toliet or damp dankness that prompted me to ask for a different room. The second room was much nicer, no bad smell. large fridge, dishes and silverware. it was on the second floor which felt safer than a door that faced a parking lot next to a bar full of drunks. the receptionist was very nice and changed our room with no event. hotel is located at the center of everything. breakfast could be bought which was good and not expensive. pool was nice though we mostly went in the ocean.
