wir waren sehr zufrieden mit diesem Hotel. Sehr kinderfreundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß genug für uns drei. Es hat sich absolut gelohnt etwas mehr auszugeben.

Wir haben zu zweit hier übernachtet. Sehr günstig für 3 Nächte über Ostern. Für ein 2-Sterne-Hotel echt TOP ... mindestens so gut, wie die meisten 3-Sterne-Hotels! Das einzige, was gestört hat, waren die unfreundlichen Reinigungskräfte - trotz "Do not disturb"-Schild sind sie einfach reingekommen, und waren sehr, sehr unfreundlich, weil wir noch nicht aus dem Zimmer waren. Die Metro ist ein paar Minuten entfernt. Wir sind anfangs mit dem Auto nach Paris reingefahren... ist aber nicht zu empfehlen - die Metro (Tagesticket lohnt sich!) fährt sehr regelmäßig und überall hin und man hat keinen Stress mit der Parkplatzsuche. Einen Supermarkt hatten wir nicht gefunden... aber der McDonalds war auch nicht weit ;-)

Positiv waren: die Lage, die Sauberkeit, der Preis negativ war: kein Schrank im Zimmer, schlecht wenn man ein paar Tage länger bleiben will, der Aufzug ist so klein, dass nur eine Person rein passt! Die Lage ist wirklich erstklassik, ein Schritt aus dem Hotel und schon schaut man auf Sacre Coeur und rund um das Hotel gibt es viele Cafes, Restaurants, […] Bäckereien usw. Die Rue des Martyrs ist meine neue Lieblingsstrasse in Paris Trotz der vielen Möglichkeiten war es Nachts nicht laut, sodass man auch ungestört schlafen konnte. Das Hotel Clauzel befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Metro mit günstigen Anschlüssen. Ausserdem ist ein Besuch der Pariser Innenstadt auch gut zu Fuß zu bewältigen. "Hotel liegt auf direktem Weg zum Sacré Coeur!"
Die Lage war super! Aus unserem Fenster konnten wir sofort den Sacré coeur sehen. Es lag auf direktem Wege! Genial. Für ein 2* Hotel war das Zimmer schon sehr geräumig (habe ich auch schon anders kennen gelernt). Vor allem war es sauber. Das war für uns das Wichtigste. Die Möbel waren zwar alt, aber zum Schlafen war alles in bester Ordnung. Für einen […] Kurztripp würde ich persönlich nochmal hinfahren. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auf jeden Fall! "Durchschnittliches 2-Stern-Hotel (Level Paris)"
Das Hotel Clauzel entspricht dem, was man in Paris von einem Zweisternhotel erwarten kann. D.h. - Einrichtung in die Jahre gekommen - Badzimmer klein und duester - soweit einigermassen sauber, jedoch fuer heikle Personen - aufgrund des veralteten Interieurs - eher Tendenz zu "Schmudeligkeit". Die Lage ist nicht schlecht; 5 Fussminuten zum Place de […] Pigalle, 10 Minuten zur Sacre Coeur und zum Kuenstlerviertel des Montmartres, trotzdem nicht mitten im Rotlichtmillieu. "Das Hotel beim Sacré Coeur"
Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen, da es erstens an einer sehr lauten Strasse, welche die ganze Nacht befahren wird. Bei geschlossenem Fenster war es einigermassen möglich zu schlafen, jedoch war die Heizung so stark aufgedreht, dass man wieder durch die stickigen Luft aufgewacht ist. "Einfache Einrichtung bei Top-Sauberkeit"
Das Hotel Clauzel mit direktem Blick auf die Sacre Coe ur hat eine gute Lage. Sowohl die Metrostation als auch die Bushaltestelle für die "Grand Tour" sind in der Nähe. Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgerüstet, sehr kleines Bad, aber alles sehr sauber. Die Qualität der Matratze war erstaunlich gut. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, allerdings wäre es schön gewesen, […] etwas mehr frische Produkte zu haben. "Preis Leistung stimmt"
Ansich ist das Hotel sehr schön. Man bekommt für diesen Zimmerpreis einen angenehmen Aufenhalt. Die Zimmer sind nicht besonders groß aber für 3 Tage ist es vollkommen ausreichend. Das Frühstück ist auch ausreichend. Käse, Marmelade, Crossiant, Toastbrot usw... Nicht das selbe Frühstück wie zu Hause aber es schmeckt:-) Wir würden dieses Hotel immer wieder […] buchen. Allein schon deswegen weil es so zentral ist. Man kann Paris von diesem Punkt aus zu Fuss erkunden oder auch mit der u-Bahn. Sehr gut ist auch das in der Hotellobby ein Computer steht, diesen kann man kostenlos nutzen. Man sollte sich aber auf eine Nutzungsdauer von 15-20 min einschränken damit die anderen Hotel Gäste auch dran kommen. Mehr
"gut brauchbarer Ausgangspunkt für den Paris-Kurztrip"
Mit seiner Lage unterhalb des Montmartre 3 Min. zu Fuß von der Metro Notre Dame de la Lorette entfernt ist das Hotel ein gut brauchbares Ausgangsquartier. Das Personal ist freundlich; mit ein bißchen Französisch und / oder Englisch kommt man zurecht. Das Zimmer war einfach aber brauchbar möbliert; Matraze = ok.; das Bad könnte mal eine Sanierung gebrauchen, […] funktioniert aber; Haken fehlen; Minibar (Kühlschrank) gibt es nicht!Sauberkeit okay; 1-Person-Aufzug = besser als nichts, aber manchmal braucht man Geduld. Das Frühstück ist okay aber schlicht: Cornflakes, Baguette-Stück, Marmelade- u. Butterpäckchen, Scheibletten- und Streichkäse, Joghurts, O-Saft; - für die Lage und den Preis als Basisstation in Paris durchaus gut brauchbar, wenn man keine allzu hohen Ansprüche hat. Mehr

"Gute Lage - Hotel etwas renovationsbedürftig"
Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, vom Fenster aus sahen wir zu Sacre Coeur und es hat in nächster Nähe zwei Metrostationen und mehrere Restaurants und Bistros. Die Lage ist zwar nicht ruhig, aber wir konnten trotzdem gut schlafen. Das Hotel bräuchte mal wieder eine Grundreinigung und ist ziemlich "runtergewohnt".....das Zimmer selber war einigermassen […] sauber, zumindest das Bad war gereinigt und die Bettwäsche frisch.Das Frühstück war etwas dürftig, vorallem den Kaffee konnte man nicht trinken. Aber in nächster Nähe hat es mehrere Kaffees und Boulangerien...Ansonsten war's in etwa so, wie man das von einem 2 Stern Hotel in Paris erwarten kann..Für einen Kurztrip absolut genügend, wenn man keine grossen Ansprüche stellt. "Hotel Clauzel - small room/bath, great street"
We found this 2 star hotel to be about what we expected after reading other reviews. It is fairly close to Montmarte but it is quite a walk to most of the other sights. Our bathroom had a funky smell which the staff tried to eliminate by opening the bathroom window. Unfortunately, it was cold during our stay so we would have to close the window when […] we were in the room. However, there are great shops - wine, pastries, cheese, chocolate just down the street and the metro is 2 blocks away. Mehr
"Will definitely stay here again."
We loved the location of this hotel which was only a couple of minutes walk from Saint-Georges station and just a little bit further from Notre Dame-de-Lorette. We were also able to walk into the city centre as well as to the Sacré Cœur. There are a number of patisseries only a minute or two walk away and lots of bars and restaurants. We particularly […] enjoyed dinner at Cul de Poule about a block up the hill which we would not hesitate to go back to. We were able to store our bags before and after checking in and to access the free wifi. The heating in the room was pretty warm but we were able to open the windows which was fine. The room itself had plenty of space for the two of us although we could hear a woman talking (more like yelling) in the room next to us. Probably more because the woman was being really loud rather than because of any problem with the room. We plan to stay here again next time we're in Paris and would definitely recommend it. Mehr

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. Mildrew all over bathroom walls, bathroom light kept going out in the middle of my shower, and noise from street made it very hard to sleep. Front desk staff blamed us for the light going out, and they neglected to tell us about the time change in Europe causing us to miss our flight […] and have a 12 hour wait at the airport for the next flight. staff were very happy to help with all questions from the best nightclubs to visit to which metros to take. room was tidy and great value for money. we were also not pressured to be out dead on 12pm and were offered breakfast although we hadnt previously booked it. 24hr desk service, comfortable lobby. great place to stay if youre looking for a cheap, […] clean hotel. "comfortable and conveniently located"
This hotel was quite good and rates were cheap. Only inconveniences were no wi-fi (had to queue downstairs for common computer), no remote control for TV and a small cute mouse who ran from bathroom to the room. Regardless of these we would gladly recommend this hotel for a cheap and convenient stay in Paris.
"Great value in the center of Paris"
This is your typical inner-Paris hotel, with a surprisingly good value, considering the price. Not too far from the Gare St Lazare or the Grands Magasins, it is on a typical popular Parisian street, where you will find all the convenient shops, bakery, butcher, etc.. my room was rather small, as expected, so are the stairs and the elevator but clean […] and cosy. The hotel is not very near to Metro and u need to take around 15-20 minus to walk, it is not convenient when you are taking a big luggage. Hotel's life is the smallest one that I'd never seen, it just can accomodate 1 person, if you take a big luggage u cannot use it.
"Loved It"
An older hotel, it is very quaint, and in a quaint neighborhood. We loved the fact that you could open the windows and look up and down the street, watching the passersby. We loved it!! Clean and comfortable--we wished we could have booked it for our entire stay. Desk staff was kind, although we did not need them for anything. There was street noise […] till about 10 pm, but we loved it. The metro stop is around the block, a little confusing at first, but we managed okay. We walked to Gare du Nord train station, but only once (a little longer than you expect from the map). I will remember this hotel as the best of our stay. If you need the elevator, be advised that it holds one person and one piece of luggage at a time. Other than that--stay here and begin to love a real Paris neighborhood!! Mehr
"Easy to get everywhere"
The location of the hotel was great! very easy to get everywhere...we didn't have to rush to get to central paris for example. The hotel staff is friendly. We could see Sacre Cour from the hotel, loads of restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets nearby. Despite being a small room, was very confortable and cute. Go for it!

"Hotel Clauzel, amaxing location"
Hotel Clauzel was located ina wonderful street and neighbourhood - the street has a bakery, supermarket, cafes and a terrific atmosphere the moment you stepped outside. The metro station was just a 4minute walk. The hotel didnt have twin beds available (wich was our preference when booking) and we wernt told this until we arrived which was very frustrating. […] the room was also incredily small but I believe most paris/european accomodation is the same. For value for money I would recommend Hotel Clauzel, particulary as the location was amazing. Mehr

Staff was friendly -arrived very early and were able to leave our bags before wechecked in. Given access to a room where we could change and leave bags. Hotel is in a lovely neighborhood. easy access to metro - cant wait to return - three in a room was not as bad as i thought it might be. "Super Location No Frills Short Walk to Three Métro"
Clauzel is a no frills hotel. Its location is superb located just below Sacre-Coeur on Rue des Martyrs which has every type of shop and eatery one could require. The main thing is that it is a short walking distance to 3 METRO stations: Pigale Line 2, Notre Dame de Lorette Line 12 and Le Peletier line 5. You can get anywhere in Paris in an instant. hotel was clean, carpet on stairs well used but ok place was very quiet so good to sleep at night. night clerk a little odd wanted me to speak in french(even though he spoke perfect english) but was ok .. breakfast was good when they had everything the first day we had pasteries and bread put in front of us and we helped ourselves to yoghurt /juice/cereal […] and coffee was made in a very loud machine and brought to us. second day same on offer but no yoghurt even though we arrived at breakfast in the first 45mins ... but over all this place was ok and i could stay there again, it was also a good size bedroom even if bathroom was tiny. The Hotel Clauzel in Paris- room was clean but shaby. Shower and bathroom were awful! shower wand would not stay in place, no where to put soap, shampoo except on floor of shower and the batroom was very poorly lit so as not to show the mold on the grout lines in the shower!!! Expected small but could not even close the door if you were sitting on the […] toilet! Night staff were all different folks and the morning on day of departure I went to the lobby to check flight departure times on the computer for guest use (no WIFI either!!!) when I was told at 0640 I could not use the computer until they opened at 0700 or be in the lobby as they were closed until then! No one else was there! breakfast was not available until 08 while other area hotels were available at 07 or 0730. would not book again for the full five days as there were other hotels in the area that we viewed which were cleaner , more accomodating and the bathrooms also small but certainly cleaner for sure! As well the other nicer ones in the same are were 20 - 25 Euros cheaper per night when we inquired and also the rates were posted! On a positive 1 young fellow helped us contact the Canadian Consulate when our passports were stolen and the manager booked a shuttle for us at a good rate the day before we left. Mehr

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Clauzel. The staff were helpfull and friendly. The surrounding area was enjoyable. Some attractions were withing walking distance and the metro stations were reasonably close with the metro easy to use. the rates were reasonable. We would stay there again.

for the price, it was a good deal. we spent only one night there since we were transiting through paris. it is far from tourist attractions but has two metro stations close by. very cute neighbourhood.

Hotel is situated in a very good place. There is a metro station just few minutes from the hotel. The neighbourhood is full with places to eat. Moulen rouge is just 15 min away from the hotel. "OK hotel, great location"
The hotel is close to multiple metro stops and is a decent choice. The room was clean and relatively spacious (save a miniscule shower). My main complaint was that the bed was not the most comfortable, although I was usually so tired that it was not a problem. I would recommend the hotel for the price and great location (10 minute walk to Montmartre, […] 15 minute walk to the Louvre and the Seine) in a neighborhood not overrun by tourists (even in August). "In vacation with my two kids"
This hotel is not a 3 star maybe 1 yes maybe 1 no ac, cucarachas in the bathroom yes about 3 or 4, elevator is very small only 2 people will fit yes 2 not 3 or 4 but the location is good that's it.

The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance from Monmartre; 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. The room was small and a bit dark with a tiny bathroom, but it was clean. It is a good place if you need just a bed for a couple of nights.

The hotel is within walking distance of the subway and bus lines. It is in a cute little neighborhood with small shops around and plenty of restaurants. The Hotel Clauzel has breakfast for a reasonable amount each morning, with great variety. "if you like clean hotel, then don't go there"
I travel quite a bit and I have seen many type of hotels but this one is by far the most disgusting: My wife and I had a room on the 5th floor with: - dozens of ants walking around - no AC - a missing remote control. Even though I asked for one, the reception desk constantly "forgot" about my request - a disgusting smell coming from the sink Plus do […] not expect the room service to properly clean your room... Do NOT go there if you want to enjoy your stay in Paris ps: I forgot to mention...breakfast is served at 8am. Which hotel serves breakfast this late? Mehr

This hotel is in a vibrant neighborhood with lots of shops, bakeries, delis, and bars to keep you happy no matter what time you head out. Centrally located between three metro stops it gives you choices for lines that you need, but a few minutes walk to all of them. No issues with the hotel.
