Attendant arrived in a timely way to provide a rollaway bed when we checked in late one evening. She made up the bed nicely instead of just leaving the rollaway in the room.

Everything was quite nice. The carpet had dirty stains and some mould on a wall, however it was still very well kept, and did not feel the need to complain. overall a good standard and very helpful staff.

We selected this hotel because of its location within walking distance of the Rynik, availability of on-site parking, and because of a recommendation by a family member who had stayed here. We were quite satisfied with our rooms, which were upgraded to executive level (still a bit small by American standards). A very pleasant hotel ideally situated just off the main square and so away from the noise. All the main attractions including the Jewish area are within very easy walking distance. Breakfast and all the hotel facilities were very good as was the tariff.

The Holiday Inn, Krakov City Centre is exactly what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The bonus with this one is the location. Within walking distance (2 mins) of Karakov's main square which is an amazing place. You are 2 mins away from a different world. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the staff made this hotel a worth while choice. We booked this as a mystery hotel and were very pleased with the quality and service. The htoel was within walking distance of the train and old town krakaw. I would highly recommend.

We have been going to Krakow for over 20 years and have stayed in many good hotels. This was our first time in the Holiday Inn. It was in a good location for the old city and we discovered a few new restrurants we had not used. The room and breakfast were very good. The only unfortunate point was the breakfast room was downstairs in the basement. A […] design problem not a breakfast problem. We would stay in the hotel again we enjoyed our trip and the hotel.The hotel has its own bus to the airport but we found this out to late to book it. we where very happy with the hotel the food was fantastic and the rooms where lovely and clean. the hotel was very handy for the old town and the main square just 5 min walk and it had a gym spot on. just one thing when we went to the front desck to cash money in to PLN we handed over scottish money and the staff would not take our money from us they […] do not recognise scottish cash just english money this was so disrespectful to our family and our country. I really enjoyed the stay in Krakow, very beautiful city and the hotel was very good and very close to the downtown and wawel hill castle 5 munites walk. And also the hotel is very close to a shopping center called KRAKOWSKA which is also very good.

This has more to do with hotels.com. You said this had a king size bed however there were only queens or single beds. The hotel was nice enough to accommodate my party of 3 and gave us each a twin bed. Your listing was not correct

The breakfast buffet was wonderful and had a plentiful variety of meats, cheeses, breads, yogurts, cereals, fruits and pastries, though at 60 pln per person it was a tad bit pricey. The concierge was friendly, knowledgeable and offered us a free travel brochure that contained detailed information about every venue we wanted to visit on our trip. The […] staff spoke English well and assisted us in orienting ourselves to Krakow--it being our first time there! Our only issue was with the way our beds were made. My bed came ready made with two sheets whereas my fellow traveler's bed only had one. She placed a quick phone call to the front desk and within five minutes the problem was solved and a housekeeper took care of the problem. The location is excellent and is within a short walk of the Wawel, the Market Square, Cloth Hall and several Cathedrals. Would recommend a stay here to anyone looking for that combination of class and convenience. Mehr

Great location and nice room amenities. Had an early morning flight, and they arranged to have the taxi waiting on me even though it was 4am. Located in short walking distance to old town and the Wawel castle.

We booked two rooms. My wife and I got room number 55, which was tiny, no bathtub, and generally suited for the single traveler. One had to sit sideways on the toilet as the sink was in the way. Meanwhile, our teenage children were put in a business suite, room 419, which was, relatively speaking, luxurious. In short, the guy who checked us in was basically […] stupid. The breakfast was overpriced and the restaurant at breakfast-time was not well-run. You're losing a lot of money due to their incompetence. And there is no way the Holiday Inn, Krakow, is a five-star hotel. I'd maybe give it three, on a good day. Mehr

We spent 4 nights at the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The rooms were beautiful as was the lounge area. It is situated in a lovely location, perfect for walking to many main attractions. Taxi service was also available from the door. I think if I were to have one negative remark it would be a lack of choice at the bar. […] I think tyskie and Guinness were the only choices of beer available. We would have enjoyed a larger selection. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our experience in this hotel, would recommend it to others and would stay there again. A1! Mehr

Friendly and helping staff that responds to all queries by going out of their way to address them. Very conveniently located close to the main market square. If the price is right whenever I do visit Krakow again, I would not hesitate to call this Hotel home.

The hotel is in a fantastic location! The staff are very helpful and accomodating. My only small issue was that there were three of us in a room that should have been for two people. So more space would have been great but I cannot fault the cleaness and lovely shower!

I picked the hotel for its location, close to the main square. The hotel was very nice, and our executive room very roomy. Breakfast buffet was also very good. All in all a very good stay.

As the hotel itself is like many others.. nothing really to talk about, the location is fantastic and the staff amazing. Extremely professional and helpful. Our little boy forgot his favourite toy and not only it was found immediately but sent the same day by a courier so he went to bed with his friend Froggy no problem. Thank you guys!!!.

We have stayed in this hotel for it's location and reviews. Location is excellent, only few minutes walk from the centre of Krakow. The hotel has an image of a high quality, superior place to stay with good facilities. However we had a slightly different experience. First there was a confusion about our bed size, hence we were moved to different rooms, […] twice. Secondly, one of the reasons for choosing Holiday Inn was it's gym facilities, however they were poor to say the least, with one ( out of two) treadmills broken and only a couple other pieces of equipment available, the whole experience was poor. And the last thing to remember is the price of the breakfast, and the car parking charges will add a substantial amount to your bill. The hotel felt like a large hotel, with no personal touches which you might find in a smaller hotel. Mehr

The hotel is just a short walk from the train station and just as close to the central square. The room was very clean and well equipped. Even a choice of soft or firm pillows. Front desk staff was extremely efficient. I stayed here many years ago and will stay here again the next time I am in Krakow.

Holdiay Inn not 5 star but very comfortable and clean with a super location within a few minutes walk of the City Centre. This hotel was absolutely great. Room was large, clean and close to city center. Always enjoyed coming back after a long day of walking. Desk help was excellent, spoke English and always willing to help. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.
