Villa Rivoli - Nizza

Waren über ein Wochenende in Nizza. Schnell und unkomliziert vom Flughafen per Bus zu erreichen ( Haltestelle beim Negresco). Zimmer klein, aber nett und ordentlich. Service sehr zuvorkommend. Lage zum Blumenmarkt und Altstadt auch sehr gut. Wir würden wieder buchen.

Wir waren auf Empfehlung für 3 Tage in diesem schönen, romantischen Hotel im Zentrum von Nizza und Nähe zur Promende des Anglaises. Unsere Erwartungen wurden gar übertroffen. Ein Hotel mit französichem Charme unter deutscher Leitung. Alle Mitarbeiterinnen waren äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Unser Zimmer- nochmals Danke für das upgrade!- war sehr […] stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr gutes, französisches Bett, stilvolle Stofftapete. Hat uns ein wenig an unseren letzten Aufenthalt in Paris erinnert. Die Kombination aus traditionell romantischem Zimmer und modernem Bad ist gut gelungen. Sehr angenehm auch das separate WC. Das reichhaltige und ansprechend aufgebaute Frühstück konnten wir entweder im Salon oder im schönen romantischen Gärtchen genießen. Bei alle dem ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis als sehr gut zu bewerten. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal. Mehr

Das Hotel liegt 500m vom berühmten Hotel Negresco und der Promenade des Anglais entfernt. Die Zimmer sind zwar sehr klein, aber in einem super renovierten Zustand. Es war bis jetzt das mit Abstand beste Hotel, dass wir in Frankreich gebucht haben... Wenn man etwas sucht dann findet man auch einen Parkplatz in der nähe, der Hotelparkplatz hat nur Platz […] für 2 PKW's und ist recht teuer. Für unsere nächsten Nizza-Aufenthalte werden wir sicher wieder dieses Hotel buchen. Mehr

Wir hatten Pech mit dem Zimmer 4 - das Bett war miserabel, durchgelegen bis ins Unendliche. Aber sonst ist das Hotel zu empfehlen. Süsser Innenhof. Für Junge wäre ein Hotel in der Altstadt eher zu empfehlen.

I loved my stay at Hotel Rivola. I happen to be sick during the stay and couldn't travel around the area as much as I would have liked to. The people in this hotel made a wonderful stay for me. I rested there and got over my cold. Nice is beautiful and they have great art work. I loved the Chagall Museum.

The hotel fit our needs perfectly ending our month vacation in France. The hotel was excellent from all aspects the staff was so very accommodating and helped us in everyday. They got us transportation to the airport that picked us up at 4 am. We highly recommend the Rivoli for anyone that appreciates a quaint and customer service motivated hotel.

Nice hotel, decor would have been charming (fabric lined walls, nice curtains) had it not been for the carpet tiles and IKea wardrobe. Very comfortable bed, decent sized flat screen TV that worked, immaculately clean and modern bathroom. Friendly welcome and smooth departure. Would be happy to stay again, which is more than I can say for other hotels […] in Nice in the same area and price range. Mehr

Visit to Villa Rivoli was nice and pleasant. Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were spotlessly clean (though tiny) and breakfast delicious. There's some walking to old town and restorant and shopping areas, but beach is around the corner. And free wi-fi was adequate. I would definitely recommend this hotel to leisure travel!

The hotel is located in an old villa in a quiet street, with walking distance to the Promenade, and to the shopping areas. The staff was very friendly. Good breakfast with more variation than usual in French hotels. I would definitely stay here again.

My fiance and I stayed at this hotel three nights at the end of November 2011. Our first impression was very good as the staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. It was a cozy hotel with small rooms, but definitely worth what we payed! Altogether, we were pleased with our stay, the only downside was that it was not really soundproof and […] our next door neighbors were upset because we were talking at 10 PM. Service was fantastic and the location was a 5 minute walk to the beach-front. Good value for money too, even-though it was low-season!

Stayed here early november, 4 nights. Room: Small but cozy, VERY clean! Location: Only 3 blocks from beach and Negresco! Walking distance to everything, bars, restaurants, beach, perfect! Service: Excellent, helpfull stuff, even though we speak french, nice to hear they speak english! PROS: Clean, nice and polite stuff, very serviceminded, cute litle […] garden where u can have ur breakfast, beautiful barroque-y interrior, great, fresh breakfast, coffee was soo good! :) Clean towels and cleaning every day! :) CONS: We had a room at first floor. People in room above us were walking in their shoes and every single step was like a hammer beat! Also very loud when trucks outside were emptying trash cans or whatever they were doing. But all these can be solved with earplugs! :) Showers were about 80x70 cm! U fit , but they small! Mehr

Great location, close to cafes and short walk to Promenade de Anglais; 5-10min walk from SNCF and 5 min to the airport bus stop. Make sure to question the room charges if something's not right and they'll be happy to accommodate.

This hotel is small, but so charming. It's very easy to reach by bus from the airport, very close to the beach, and in an adorable area of the city. It was so charming.

Spent four nights in this lovely hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room, breakfast etc was a very high standard - Would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Nice - It is a good 10 minute to the old town from here. Also please note that the beach is not included in the price - but the hotel offers reduced rate at the Blue Beach […] - which is a very nice clean and comfortable beach with a good restaurant and is litterly a couple of mins from the hotel. i stayed for 2 nights and felt very welcome and comfortable there. The only complaint was that my room was in the basement and it smelt musty and old. but still I would stay here again...just in another room. The staff were so so lovely and the location was perfect.

Well located, the people in the front desk was very kind and helpful, the rooms (because were in 2 during our stay) are very nice, even the one in the basement is pretty. The room´s decoration is very nice also. It´s 4-5 blocks away from the train station.

Stayed for a long weekend with my girlfriend. The room was very good - the bathroom modern and clean; overall the room was very clean. Close enough to the Old Town - a very nice stroll along the beach to the Old Town (and very close to the beach). If you're looking to be in the centre of the action though, this hotel may be just a bit too far out of […] the way for you. Overall very satisfied. Staff were very friendly. Mehr

This hotel was more like a childrens hostel not a hotel. There were not enough pillows so my business associate slept without one. There was no one to help with the bags and not an elevator. So we carried our bags up two flights of stairs. The employees were very kind but they could not help as the problem was with the hotel. The rooms were so small […] you could not turn around in them. I know this is France but not excuseable. This is not a hotel for business travelers or adults. Mehr

The Villa Rivoli was a delightful find. The rooms are charming and cozy (small, but you should expect that in any European hotel). Nice little touches like towel warmers in the bathroom and free internet access make the rooms both modern and quite comfortable. A generous and inexpensive breakfast is served in an adorable sitting room with views of […] a garden. The service staff are extremely helpful and kind. A few notes - as this is a boutique hotel, there are no on-site staff after 11 (although there IS a number to call for after-hours urgent problems). Be sure to ask for the code to the door so you can get in after 11. Also, the neighborhood is a bit sketchy after dark (this is true of many areas of Nice - especially the Old City). There were 'working girls' within a few blocks of the hotel. It didn't feel unsafe, but women traveling alone might want to come back from dinner a bit earlier in the evening, or take a taxi. That said, the hotel really was wonderful and I would strongly recommend it! Mehr

Excellent hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful- very quaint with lots of detail and decoration. It had a lot of character and the room was a great size. Our room overlooked the back garden, which was lovely. The hotel is very conveniently located- just behing […] the famous hotel Negresco (easy to find your way home after a night out!) The rate for the room was very reasonable for the standard of hotel and location. All in all a great stay and we will definitely be coming back! Mehr

I recently stayed at Villa Rivoli for 4 nights and it was one of the best and most memorable hotel stays ever. The staff is warm and welcoming, very kind with my very rusty French and helpful with directions and things to do. They believe in service with a smile. The airport express bus stops just down the road either at La Buffa or Avenue des Anglaises […] so don't shell out for a cab. The room was very pretty and very French. Don't expect your typical American or English hotel. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, preferring to go out. Lots of places close by on Rue de France and Old Town. Mehr

Villa Rivoli was much more than a 3 star hotel, it was wonderful. The employees are very nice, sweet, and helpful. The whole hotel is so sweet and welcoming. We had booked a basement room, and since they weren't full they upgraded us for free to a second story room. Stay was perfect. Staff friendly and efficient. Location superb close to promenade with the Negresco hotel at the end of the street 250 metres away. Room was large and very comfortable by Franch standards. Bathroom modern and clean. Couldnt recommend Villa Rivoli highly enough

Marvellous as Aussies we don't usually have good language skills, but the staff were brilliant. we were mucked up by a strike in the transport (government) and they helped us heaps. service, room cleanlyness, position all brilliant. HIGHLY RECOMENDED. Our shower was small but it didn't ruin the experience

We stayed one night in the Villa Rivoli and were very happy with everything. The rooms are a bit small but are quite charming with lovely decor. We had breakfast in the garden which was very pleasant. Staff were good (especially the nice German guy serving at breakfast). All in all, a good hotel, keenly priced and very close to the seafront.

Friendly staff...the only problem is no elevator...so if you have lots of luggage, it is a bit tiring...

The Villa Rivoli in Nice is a gem. It's a very French hotel. The rooms are smallish but adequate, and our room had what looked to be a recently refurbished bathroom. Rooms are air-conditioned, and the A/C works great! Hotel also has free Wi-Fi, but use with caution - our email contact list was hijacked and everyone on it got a spam with our email as […] the "From", and I think it was hijacked from the hotel wireless. Staff were wonderful. I got a guided tour of the main floor when I checked in, and everyone was wonderful. Breakfast is available for extra cost but is done very well. Can ask the staff to prepare hard or soft-boiled egg(s), and assortment of breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, etc. Coffee was good! Location is great. Hotel is about 5 minute walk to the beach, and maybe 10 minute walk to old Nice shopping. Immediate neighborhood is fine - we walked in the area at night and all was fine. To summarize, if you are looking for an authentic French experience in a great location in Nice, go with this hotel. You won't be disappointed. Mehr

Older style building. Various room sizes. Ours was on the smaller size. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Good location down behind the Hotel Negresco. Walking distance to Place Messina. 3 blocks back from the ocean.

it is very comfortable and the nearest to important place, such as beach, train station , not to far from the city center and old town.

a lovely hotel perfectly situated for the promenade de anglais(2mins) and 7 mins from the station. our double room was simply furnished but immaculately clean and everything was in a good condition. our room was lovely and quiet . the air conditioning was a must as we were there in july which was28 degrees.

Trevligt hotell nära både strandpromenad, gågata med restauranger och shopping samt gamla stan. Nära till busshållplats. Jättetrevliga tjejer i reception och frukostmatsal.

Trevligt mellanklass hotell med bra läge i Nice. Engelskspråkig personal och fina, möjligen lite små, rum. Lugnt och tyst område. Nära med buss från och till flygplats. Bra pris under lågsäsong när vi åkte.

Veldig hyggelig betjening. Sentral beliggenhet i Nice med gangavstand til Gamlebyen, strand og jernbanestasjon. Eldre bygg slik de ofte er i storbyer, men rent og greit. Noe lytt. Og svært oppmerksomme og behjelpelige ansatte. Enkel men grei frokost. Her kommer vi svært gjerne tilbake. Kan anbefales.

Rolig rom ut mot hage, god frokost i hyggelig spisesal/stue. Mulighet for parkering i hagen.

chambre très petite, manque équipements ( 1 seule table de nuit pour chambre double ? ), SdE minuscule, suivi entretien ( fuite eau lavabo ?), bien situé, calme, déco récente style ancien, propre

女性一人で滞在しました。ホテルをでてすぐ近くにバス停があり、9番か10番で旧市街近くまでいけます。シャガール美術館までもバスが出ています。 スタッフ全員とても感じがよく、スーパーやネットカフェの場所を丁寧に教えてくれました。朝食のついていないプランでしたが追加10ユーロで食べられるとの事。パンの種類も沢山あり、おしゃれな部屋とテラスで食べられるそうです。次回は食べてみたいです。 部屋はとても可愛い内装で、清潔です。部屋と部屋の壁が薄いせいか隣のテレビの音が気になったよるがありましたが、壁を「コンコン」とたたいたらすぐにボリュームを下げてくれたので眠れました。嫌な思いは何もなかったです。次回も滞在したいホテルです。
