"Großes, modernes Apartment"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 23. Feb. 2013Die große Apartmentanlage befindet sich in einem Gewerbegebiet in der Nähe des Flughafens. Die Apartments selbst sind groß und modern eingerichtet. Die Küchenutensilien muss man bei der Rezeption extra anmieten. Wenn man das weiß, kann man sich darauf einstellen und entweder selbst etwas mitbringen und im Supermarkt eingekauftes zubereiten oder gleich auswärts essen. Dazu eignet sich z.B. das große Einkaufszentrum "Plenilunio", welches nur ca. 10 Minuten entfernt, alles bietet, was man benötigt:großen Supermarkt, Geschäfte zum Shoppen und Restaurants/Cafes. Die Reinigung der Apartments erfolgt täglich und ist ausreichend. Dass man ein langes schwarzes Haar im Bad findet, was definitiv nicht ein eigenes ist, muss man wohl überall verschmerzen, macht aber natürlich leider keinen so guten Eindruck... Das Ein-/und Auschecken funktionierte reibungslos. Wie schon in einigen Kritiken zu dieser Apartmentanlage geschrieben wurde, sind die Wände und Decken zwischen den Apartments nicht besonders dick, sodass leider alles etwas hellhörig ist. Das kostenlose Parken in der Umgebung ist für uns jederzeit möglich gewesen. So war es nicht nötig, die kostenpflichtige Tiefgarage zu benutzen. Da wir uns nur in der Umgebung des Flughafens(zum Planespotten) aufhielten und keine öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel benutzten, kann ich nichts zur Anbindung an die City sagen. Alles in allem, kann man diese Apartmentanlage aufgrund des guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnisses empfehlen.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 17. Feb. 2013Wir waren zu zweit für 4 Tage im Februar hier. Das Hotel ist seeehr zentral gelegen und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten zuerst ein Zimmer zugewiesen bekommen, das nur 2 Fenster zum Lüftungsschacht hatte, bekamen aber am nächsten Tag auf unsere Bitte hin ohne Probleme eine anderes Zimmer, das sehr schön war. Personal durchaus freundlich - bis auf die für den Frühstücksaal zuständige Mitarbeiterin, die braucht noch ein paar Unterrichtsstunden zu diesem Thema.

Im Norden von Madrid liegt der zweitgrößte Bahnhof der Stadt, der Bahnhof Charmartín. Dieser Bezirk gilt vorwiegend als Geschäftsviertel, im weiter südlich gelegenen Wohnviertel findet man jedoch vornehme Apartment- und Wohnhäuser mit wenigen Stockwerken. Pro's: 5 minute walk from the excellent Madrid Metro. 10 mins by taxl from airport. Good food. Good beer. Friendly/helpful. CONS: Beds were stiff. Single beds instead of doubles, placed together to be a double bed, but were made up as single beds. Restaurant offers only a basic, limited selection (sandwhiches mostly) but the food is quite edible and ambience simple but pleasant. Stay was good, even spent an extra night - unfortunately not at the same rate as the first. This was my first time using Hotel.com so did not think to let you know I needed the extra night. The hotel was OK, few glitches made me think that service provided is more on two star family resort side than the business travelers orientated venue: Restaurant - being opened only late night. The waiter brought me a menu but when I was ready for order I was told in quite rude/broken language that I cannot order anything from the menu and other menu […] (from cafeteria next door) was brought. I would not wait long for restaurant to open if I knew the menu of restaurant and cafeteria serve same dishes ... The room - Within three days my refuse was not taken away and AC was broken. The room and bathroom were modern and a convenient bar fridge was provided. The location is a bit far from the tourist areas, but the metro is only a 7 min walk and another 15 mins to Sol station. "We like to walk and take trains. This was perfect."
Comfortable hotel, good breakfast spread, nice and quiet neighborhood. NOT near the center of town, if that matters to you. More like a convention hotel. If you don't mind a short walk to the Pio XII Metro station, this is the place to stay. The Colombia Metro (different line from Pio XII) is just another block or so more, and it's a direct line to […] the Airport. (€2.50 one way). ROOM PROS: Windows open, which is important since one of the ROOM CONS is that the heat can't really be controlled. Another ROOM PRO is the double-shower-head situation in the shower. Very comfortable. Unfortunately, our room had a CON in that the shower leaked all over the floor every time due to the instability of the glass partition "attached" to the tub and the floor drain was on the other side of the bathroom. Another ROOM PRO that we enjoyed was the in-room safe and the easy-to-use free Wi-Fi. One CON for me was the rock-hard mattress, but this was a PRO for my spouse...so they'll cancel each other out. We traveled by train, so the parking situation is unknown. The breakfast spread was great. Food was tasty, variety was good. If you want to get your own food, there's a supermarket down the street, with restaurants a few blocks more. The in-room fridge is big enough to keep supplies, and free bottles of water are provided daily. We would definitely stay here again next time in Madrid. Close proximity to the Chamartin train station (with access to Cercanías and RENFE trains) made daytripping very easy to El Escorial, Avila, Segovia, and more. Get a 10-ride Metro ticket and save some money coming and going from this hotel. Staff was VERY friendly every time we came and went. :) MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

This hotel was a 10 in all regards! The room was great--new, marble bathroom, sitting area and comfortable beds. The staff, however, made this hotel all that it is. Away from rest, entertainment, downtown, etc... Bus #150 is close and takes you directly to Puerta del Sol. The only thing is that it does not ride as frequent as downtown buses. The hotel and room were very well maintained, clean and well-appointed. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Free wi-fi. The hotel restaurant is not a bargain, but the food is decent. The hotel is in a primarily residential district, so there are not many choices in the area for dining or shopping. We cannot buy the train tickets from Lisbon to Madrid, we bought bus tickets instead, and hence arrive some hours earlier at 9am, they are nice to let us a a free early checkin. You know it is tired after so called 'sleeping' by bus. The place is very safe, close to Charmatin station but suggest to go by PIO XII station, because it is even closer, you […] can take a bus, just 2 stop, and dont need to walk with luggage.
