Hotel Wien super, AUSSER Frühstücks-Buffet überteuert

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der sehr belebten Kärtnerstrasse - sehr lärmig. Leider wurde direkt vis-à-vis des Hotels umgebaut. Das bereits (auch am Sonntag!) um 6.00 Uhr in der Früh mit dem Presslufthammer gearbeitet wurde, hat die Lärmfrequenz massiv erhöht. Leider hat das Hotel keine Klimaanlage; so konnten wir die Fenster nicht vollständig schliessen. […] Nach 2 Nächten schwitzen und unruhig schlafen, sind wir unausgeruht weitergereits. Mehr

Superb location on Vienna walking-only street, within blocks of all main attractions. (Follow hotel directions if driving!) Maybe they didn't notice that we booked cheap through hotels.com, but they gave us a huge corner room, probably 400 square feet! Old flooring, windows, etc, but bathroom fixtures modern. Lots of space for clothing, etc. Very quiet, […] thanks to double windows, in spite of active pedestrian location. Excellent service personnel. A wonderful experience! Mehr

Well positioned in the centre and relatively affordable rates. Unfortunately the rooms are very small, lack in comforts and, as I discovered at checkout, the charges for breakfast are downright extortionate (I paid about half the room rate; notice you can get a far better breakfast coffee and cake for ~5 times less at neighbouring Sacher Hotel!). This […] last thing really put me off the hotel as it seems like an unnecessary punch in the face to unexpecting guests. Stay here for the convenience of being close to the Opera, Sacher Hotel (cake!), metro, Museums and Stefansdom, but by all means avoid eating in! Mehr

This hotel definitely does not deserve a 4-star rating! The desk personnel were extremely rude and not the least bit helpful. My room faced a construction site, the shower/tub did not drain properly, the television picture was bad, the printer in the lobby did not work the day I arrived and attempted to print a document and was still not working three […] days later when I tried to print my boarding pass (I honestly think it has never worked). My daughter who is a NYU student studying abroad put it best when she said that she had received far better and friendlier service from the front desk personnel at the hostels that her and her fellow classmates have stayed at during their travels! We enjoyed the large room and comfort of the hotel situated in the middle of all the shopping and action and and close to Metro and trams. Free internet and a good bath. A little street noise early, but quiet later.

The location was perfect. Just walk outside and everything is right there. The staff was very good........

Very nice hotel - but no air conditioning. They do have a fan in the room which was helpful. Staff were all very helpful but we asked for a wake up call which never happened. Great area. Safe and close to everything.

We were unlucky enough to get a room without air conditioning, so we had to battle the noise from outside. The hotel is located right next to the main pedestrian path where many restaurants and shops are located. Right across from the hotel is also a casino. This meant very VERY noisy nights. It's not even that people were trying to be loud. The accoustics […] of the neighboring buildings carried the sound up to our room incredibly well. Once the late night revelers were gone, the street cleaning machines began their work. Then, the restaurants started their day, which meant deliveries, sidewalk cleanings, and setting up metal tables and chairs on the sidewalk. I would recommend the hotel, if you're going during cold weather and will not have the windows open. If you are going in the summer, choose another place. While it is a charming building and in a very convenient location to the main tourist area, the noise kept us up every night. I read similar reviews before booking but discounted them. It couldn't be that bad, I thought, and the hotel looks so quaint! The french doors opening out to our tiny balcony were romantic, but the dark circles under my eyes and my grouchy persona due to lack of sleep undid any good feelings I had about the building's aesthetics. Overall, this hotel provided everything one would expect in a hotel of this class. The staff, however, from bell-boys to front desk, and parking valets were outstanding. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again on my next trip to Vienna.

Our recent stay was great. Unfortunately we only stayed one night. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of all the venues you will want to see. We could walk to everything. The internet was not working in our room, but it was down the hall. Not the end of the world. We arrived early around 10:00 AM, much earlier than what the check in is. […] The staff was able to accommodate our early arrival with a clean hotel room. Great location with competent service. The room was clean and bigger than we expected with a bright bathroom that appeared to be newly renovated. Although there was free wireless, we were told it would not work with Apple products, which is an issue I have never encountered. Great location and good value for this older but not dingy hotel. Had inner room so very quiet but can imagine if room overlooks pedestrian street with late night crowds outside this could be an issue. For us though it met our expectations for the money we paid.

Very nice hotel, very clean and confortable room with a great bathroom.

ワイヤレス高速インターネット アクセス (無料)となっていましたが　Windows専用で　持参したMacが使えませんでした。 ロビーに一台　Windows　PCがありプリンターも無料で使用できました（日本語には耐用していません）

고민많이 하다 결정한 곳인데 일단 위치가 너무 좋고 지하철을 한번도 안타고 왠만한곳 걸어다녔어요 시설이 좀 오래되었지만 청결하구요 고풍스러운 비엔나를 느껴보려면 추천하지만 한여름엔 에어컨이 없으니 비추입니다

オペラ座にも徒歩5分以内、メトロの駅にも近く非常に便利でした。コンチェルト会館からも歩いて帰ってこれました。ロケーションは抜群にいいです。どこに行くにも徒歩圏内で便利です。 ホテルのお部屋も広くて、バスルームも広めで快適でした。1点残念だったのは、冷房設備がなかったことです。私が滞在している間は暑かったので、ちょっとつらかったです。窓を開けていたのですが、換気がよくなくて外のほうが涼しかったくらいです。

Dette er et meget hyggelig, tradisjonelt hotell med høy standard og god og hyggelig service. Hotellet ligger supersentralt både med hensyn til severdigheter, kunst, kultur, shopping og offentlig transport. Vi har bodd på Astoria to ganger, og kommer til å velge det neste gang også.
