The Burlington Hotel - Dublin

Die Hoteleinrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, sauber sind die Zimmer aber allemal! Ca. 15-20 Minuten Fußweg zur Temple Bar.

Das Hotel ist gross und in einem etwas reparaturbedürftigen Zustand. Viele Dinge sind leider nur provisorisch repariert. Es bedürfte mal einer Generalüberholung. Aber das Hotel hat Flair, liegt zentral und der Service ist gut. In Summe kann man es empfehlen.

Das Hotel entspricht auch einem Vier-Sterne-Hotel, der Komfort in den Zimmer war überzeugend. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Hervorragend ist die Anbindung zum Flughafen. Das Hotel ist günstig gelegen. Ruhig und in der Innenstadt.

Sehr großes sauberes Hotel, guter Service und sehr gute Stadtanbindung, selbst zu Fuß nur 15 Minuten von der City entfernt (Taxi 8 €)

sauber, freundliches personal, teils renovationsbedürftig (zimmertüre, gänge), stört aber weitgehend nicht, kann hotel sehr gut weiterempfehlen

Ich war bereits da 4. Mal in diesem Haus und werde es jederzeit wieder buchen. Neben der guten Lage, ruhige, grossbürgerliche Umgebung, dennoch nur etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuss von der Crafton Street und dem St. Steven's Green entfernt, dem exzellenten Frühstück und den schönen grossen Zimmern, mit herrlichen Betten in denen man schläft, wie in Abrahams […] Schoss, ist auch das Personal, sowohl beim Empfang als auch beim Frühstück von ausgesuchter Höflichkeit und Professionalität. Lovely hotel but some drawbacks...cold showers, toiletries only for 1 person. Overall a very clean and nice room but I would expect more for the standard of hotel. We were also advised we would get bathrobes and a minibar in the room and there wasn't any. We were only there for one night so for our needs it was ok but not for a longer stay.

My stay was for business purposes ie trade show in rds. I could leave the car and walk to the RDS in 10-15 minutes which was great.This is a very well maintained hotel. Staff friendly and helpful,standard of room quality was very high. Great bar(quality of draft guinness could be better!!) and complimentatry parking. I would highly recommend it.

Very well located between downtown Dublin finance center and Ballsbridge, close to Grafton Street. Located in nice residential area. Would stay there again.

Excellent value for money, 10 mins walk from downtown and restaurants. Food and bar service above avaerage.

When staying in the Burlington you must go have chicken wings in the elephant and castle in temple bar near one of the best bars in Ireland the Oliver st.john gogarthy

Stayed there 2 nights and enjoyed stay. Very comfortable room if a little to warm but great location and reasonably priced.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning after a long flight only to find that our room had been given away to people attending a big game in Dublin the previous day. It was only when we complained after viewing our room, were we compensated with free breakfasts for our two day stay and a shift to our original booking the following day. I would […] have preferred to have been told and compensated as soon as we arrived! I assume they hoped we wouldn't complain. They put robes on the list of what they provide but there were none in any of the two rooms we stayed in. Didn't bother us but feel it is false advertising. Hotel very popular for people attending games and meetings which meant the bar area off reception was in party-mode until the late hours! We had difficulty hearing and being heard at reception desk. Otherwise, the staff very polite and helpful. Hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast food is excellent - good variety and healthy options. Mehr

This hotel was great! Great location, very clean and delicious food. The one thing that really annoyed me was the parking. On the website it says "parking provided". However on the evening we arrived there was no parking available and the hotel just told us to park on the street. We ended up parking about 2 blocks away. It took us about an hr to find […] a parking spot.The hotel staff did not care, they just shrugged their shoulders and said oh well. The only reason we booked the Burlington was because of location and the parking provided. For this reason, i will not be staying at the Burlington again. The attitude of the concierge was not nice. When booking a double room I expect a double bed and not two single beds pushed together.

Hotel staff were welcoming and the immediate public areas were very nice. Coffee lounge and Bellin's bar was very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy but, this was located at the front of the hotel overlooking the main carpark and entrance, and albeit on the 5th floor, suffered from noise. However when the curtains were closed this was muffled. The […] decor of the room, particularly the bathroom was 'tired' and needs updating. However it was functionable. It is about 15 minutes walk from the City Centre, but it is a easy route. If you need a taxi, there are hundreds. Hotel reception were very helpful and informative about the sites and places within and external to Dublin. The experience on the Red or Green Dublin Tours buses are something we would recommend to any visitor. It was great, especially the 'live commentary' versions. It not only gives you an incite to the layout of the city, but also the very good points of interest (Guiness Storehouse, Killmainan Goal, Jamesons experience, shops off O'Connell street). We would recommend a minimum of a two day pass. We would be happy to return to this hotel on any subsequent visit. Mehr

It was deserving of its 4 stars with everything you could want in the way of food and drink and attractive lobby. On the negative side corridors could possibly be monitored during the night occasionally so that guests didn't have to contact reception at 5 30am! A very busy hotel that has an emphasis on functions so be aware that there will be also […] be some late night /early morning noise and disturbance. Mehr

Have stayed there 3 times since September. There is always a good buzz. It's handy for the City Centre just a few stops away on a bus. The free guest carparking is very important for me. We found all the staff very helpful. The steak served in the lobby is good, the brandy pepper sauce is Fab! Breakfast is good too. Will keep going back if prices stay […] affordable. My only criticism is the Pillows are not great!! Mehr

Stayed on fourth floor, room fine but bathroom very poor with curved bath badly scratched in several places and front panel not fixed to bath and upper part in particular exposed and it was very dirty. A glass panel near the shower was again very dirty at the bath end. Staff were very good but hotel needs a face lift.

I have stayed here before and i do love this hotel but this time i booked a trebble room but the room was a double with an extra bed stuck in. They told me the hotel was booked out and could not change the room. Also when cheking in, i arrived at 2pm but did not get the room till 3.30 and again i had to keep asking them when the room would be ready. […] i did give them my mobile number to call me, but they lost it! I do like this hotel but there is a sign of them times as the service is dropping of and is this because of the cost? Mehr

We really enjoyed our stay. Bus stop to City Centre is just across the road & is very convenient. Would definately stay there again.

Hi all my name is Michael I just stayed at the Berlington hotel Dublin I've stayed there 4 times before and always like the hotel but this time I was put on the second floor it was so horrible i should have got a hostel instead The carpet was old and torn the rooms are old and very run down do not stay on the second floor I was so upet with the Berlington […] hotel that they did not notice I've stayed there before and spent money in the hotel . Great Hotel. We were very impressed by The Burlington. We usually stay at 5 star hotels but since no rooms were available we stayed at the Burlington. It was like staying in a 5 star Hotel but at the rate of a 4 star.Very clean, very spacious rooms, with Desk for Laptop, Ironing board, kettle etc. As soon as you walk out of the hotel you find your Taxi […] waiting for you - hence no delays.We would recommend it to any traveller. The reception staff need to smile more but that was not an issue, because they were very cordial. Just that after arriving from a long flight you need to see a warm smile at reception. Mehr

Our hotel room was situated over the heating system and the noise was quite annoying at night time when trying to sleep. Also the heat in the room was at times 0verbearing. There was no air conditioning. As it rained all the time while there the location was a bit away from shopping areas.

Very good for access to Landsdowne Road and also good for city centre.

Nice quiet room. Very comfortable bed.

Beds were comfy, and just to say thank you Laura at reception for breakfast, Hotel location was ok, just a bus ride from town, The prices for coffee, tea, wine, breakfast, etc. were very expencive.

Excellent choice of foods for breakfast Reasonably priced Beautiful food available in the Lounge until late Salmon and Guiness bread was delicious Will defintely be back.

Basic business hotel in Dublin. Good points: 1. Close-ish to the city centre 2. Free wi-fi in lobby (but not in rooms) Bad points: 1. Claims to have a gym. One of the poorest hotel gyms I've ever seen. 2. Dated interior, poor quality furniture.

The Burlington Hotel was close to all locations. The hotel staff was very accomidating and friendly. Only down side was the wi-fi service was very spotty and slow. I would definetely stay there again.

greeted by very nice friendly staff. room not really to the standard of the name although i found no fault in the cleanliness of it. a bit dated maybe. breakfast fab-great choice and again excellent helpful staff. all in all a very nice stay.

The hotel has worked hard inrecent months to get back to its old superb standard of quality, service, and comfort andis well on its way to achieving these objectives - Well Done

great location for a hotel.very over priced hotel bar and room services wouldnt say it was a 4 star because off the rooms manintenance was bad in my room.old room needs doing up.bathroom not very clean.
