Great location if you want access to the Convention Center. Front desk staff outstanding, housekeeping fair, in very good shape for New Orleans business district.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. This was one of my favorite stays in NOLA. Very kid/family friendly. Great neighborhood for those wanting to experience something a little different that Bourbon St. Large and very comfortable room!

This hotel is very comfortable to stay 2 or 3 days. Not far from the French Quarter and Mississippi River, Garden district etc. I will recommend somebody who plan to visit New Orleans.

Really enjoyed the 2 days stay. Room was clean, all of the staff were friendly & courteous. Great complimentary breakfast. Lack of parking & expensive parking rates for guests were the only negative aspects for this very nice hotel.

We stayed for five nights and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located between the CBD/Quarter and the Garden District. The area is really developing nice with some cool bars and restaurants within walking distance. Well worth the price. Nice staff too. Great for families.

Short walk to French Quarters. Hotel in great shape and free breakfast is a real nice perk!

When we walked up to our room the door was ajar making us believe someone was in there...we waked in and found dirty stained towels...Called to ask the status of the room...they "helped" us by someone bringing up a full set of additional towels. It is in a ghetto neighborhood. The parking lot was full so they made us pay extra for parking our car in […] a lot a quarter mile away. So we had to lug all of our stuff from the parking garage to our room through a shady part of town...Then a couple days after we stayed they charged my card again for a room I paid for over a month ago....TERRIBLE HOTEL! Very close to Convention Center -- 3 blocks -- even closer than hotel "designated" by conference. Breakfast was fantastic! Great variety -- waffle make, scrambled, meat, hot oatmeal in a crock, variety of cold cereals, bread, english muffins, pastries, yogurt, milk (whole, 2%, and skim), and fruit. This motel is absolutely lovely. At the price I paid, I was expecting "OK", not WOW. Beautiful, new, clean, great, friendly staff, good breakfast. reserved a queen but got 2 doubles-first clerk was so unprofessional that words cant describe. second clerk was fantastic. no towels in the room despite telling front desk upon checkin. came in after dinner and it took 3 calls to the front desk and another hour to get towels to the room. front desk did not answer the phone the next morning at all after […] 3 separate attempts. our room was along s peters directly across from 2 bars that blared loud music till after midnight. As most with Marriott hotels, this one is a clean and convenient place to stay. We had the Queen & Sofa Sleeper room which was a tad small. But after moving around some stuff, we were able to completely open the SofaSleeper :) . this hotel is clean, room's ok, breakfast was good, the b.fast bar is kind small though. a little bit far from the french quarter, so don't book this hotel in summer time if you don't want to get soak.

Hotel was very clean, the staff was polite and I will return on my next visit.

This was a great location. Within walking distance of Dome and Riverwalk...

The room size was nice with a good couch and sitting area, plus bar, fridge and microwave. Bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable, but were fine. Overall satisfied but not wowed.

Good hotel just don't get a room on the Fulton street side. Bar opened until 4am in the morning and very loud music.

Now, I was in town for a wedding that was literally right across the street from this hotel, so had that not been the case, I'm sure I would never have thought to stay here. BUT! I would absolutely recommend it! The hotel is a pleasant ten-ish minute walk to Bourbon Street (or a $7 cab ride), if you want to be a part of the action. There's an awesome bar and music venue (The Howling Wolf) right across the street, and the whole neighborhood has a very artsy, up-and-coming feel. Amazing bars, great restaurants, a more mellow, adult vibe. The hotel was recently renovated, and my room was big and clean. AND FREE WIFI and FREE BREAKFAST (if you're up before 10)??!?! Great location, within walking distance of shopping, food and fun. this was the second time ive stayed at this hotel and i would stay here again. parking is somewhat of a pain though.

Not that easy to find, wasn't informed that they only had valet parking so had to pay extra for that! Staff was friendly for the most part! No help at desk! Liked that we could deliver food and they brought to our room instead of us having to go to the front desk! Overall not the best but very comfortable room and bed!! Hotel was clean, service OK. Parking, I couldn't believe the charge and for this reason I will not return to New Orleans for any reason outside of death. I'm a Floridian , working in the guest service industry, pay to park has not gotten here yet. I only pay for valet parking. In this economy I have to make better choices.

Personnel is friendly always ready to help, very convenient location 5 minutes walk from the convention center 15 minutes walk from the French quarter

all around good, great hot breakfast, friendly, good pool, good for families, clean, laundry available, location was good, but a little far to walk to french quarter, possible but a little challenging after a busy day, taxis were easy though,

You had to pay for parking because their lot was full! An the closest Parking was 2 blocks away!

This hotel was almost the closest to the Ernest Moriel Convention Center. It was two blocks away and an easy walk. This hotel is also is located in the art and warehouse district. On the first Saturday of the month all the art galleries are open to the general public. It was great fun. Also discovered a new restaraunt 2 blocks away on St. Peters - Meson […] 926. My room smelled horrible due to some takeout food still in the refrigerator and microwave which showed that they did not clean the room well before I came. In addition, I was placed right above the AC Vent which made a horrible noise and even made the floor vibrate mostly at night. I told the front desk and they moved me but did not seem to be happy […] to change my rooms. I would not really recommend this hotel to others due to my experience. However, my other friends were satisfied with their rooms. I was in room 304. Mehr

The room was great and the staff was impressive. They were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally. Well done!

Please read this : During check in we were told, ordered, the car would have to be parked by valet. The next morning valet was not available at all, but the valet fee was removed without incident. BUT! there was a parking fee of 22 dollars which was added upon check out as a PARKING FEE !! This was not indicated on any Hotels disclosures that I could […] see. Wait, my f-ing vehicle was hit by another while my veh was parked by valet in a valet spot. And guess what? No video was taken of the accident. I was informed of the lack of video in the valet area by a desk employee, via telephone. I was mad as all get out. Further, I did not notice the damage until I got home because I did not do a check of the vehicle prior to departure, which would not have changed anything any way. The room was a little musty upon arrival, and not what i wanted to smell after paying more than 270 per night. The matress was not comfortable, but the pillows were. The TV was in a bad spot, low and close and off to the right, but not much could be done about that because over all the lay out was small and not laid out well. I should have stayed on the west bank, only a few minutes away, for a lot less if 270 gave me what I received. I would not recommend this place. Mehr

At 2am on a monday morning there where between 6-10 police cars moving all kinds of drunk folk, drama queens, working Girls and the pimps out of the street right by our windows.
