Everything really was handled with care and perfection. No waiting, No Hassles or anyone that wasn't ready to help you. Yes, the fresh waffles was awesome.

The only "problem": my husband thinks they need some meat at the breakfast bar.

We had a wonderful experience at the Jameson Inn located close to the Knoxville Airport. They went out of their way to ensure that we were dropped off at and picked up from the airport by the shuttle without having to wait. We booked this hotel the night of our stay, simply so we would not have to drive 3 more hours home at 10:00 at night. The hotel room was comfortable, everything appeared clean. We only had one small problem....but I grade a hotel on how they handled their problems and this one gets an A+. The tub/shower could have been a bit cleaner....and when I left […] that a.m., I quietly mentioned it to the manager, Caitland. I did not ask for any type of compensation but simply told her the issue, she apologized profusely and I went on my way. She came out to my car and informed me that she was issuing a credit to me as a result of what I had brought to her attention. I told her that I appreciated it, but it was not necessary. She insisted, saying that she appreciated my feedback and that she would feel better issuing the credit. I was very impressed with her concern for the matter and feel that she did an excellent job representing her hotel. I would definitely stay there again! Mehr

The Jameson Inn/Alcoa was great. Good price, very convenient location, good breakfast, great room. My only disappointment was the housekeeping service was inconsistent. Of the four nights we stayed, one night there was no kleenex, one night no decaf coffee. If we use the decaf, replace it with decaf. After that we just left a note. The room was rather small but comfortabe. The restroom was a joke. Smaller than the closet in all the hotels I have ever stayed in. The front desk was not very friendly at check-in, but the check-out clerk made up for it. The breakfast was just okay. I would stay again only if I could not get another hotel. The Jameson Inn was great because the service was impeccable, and their staff was concerned with this student's late night study session because they made a fresh pot of tea especially for me. Very personable, and the rooms were clean. A+

Good place to stay. Decent breakfast.

The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was tastey, and the linens were top of the line. This was such a bargine!

Was not impressed with the comfort of the bed. Clean room overall. I liked the fact that they provided internet. The breakfast was okay. Maybe it was just the foul mood of the uncomfortable beds speaking.

Pleased with my stay. The only complaint I have is there is a smoke odor on the 3rd floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We brought our pets and the housekeeping staff gave them dog biscuits! Our room was clean and comfortable. Overall - we were pleased.

I reserved a double bed and was given a king bed for two to share. i shared a room with my mother and had to share the kingsize bed becuase they didn't have another double room. We were very disappointed. The rooms were small and cramped. The bathroom reminded me of a closet. The hotel served it's purpose for one night. My advice to them is not skimp […] on the amenities. When I arrived on a Saturday night I didn't see a single person working at the hotel. There wasn't anyone behind the counter. Then I noticed a man eating a bowl of breakfast cereal and watching tv over in the lounge. He explained he was having a late snack and came to help me. I had to work with him for over 30 minutes just to find my reservation and […] get a room. I got a room that was not at all what I had booked online 2 weeks prior. I asked for King bed, non-smoking. I received 2 double beds, smoking. The room was disgusting. There were ants all over the bathroom floor and in the sink. There were ants in the mini fridge when I went to put my bottled water in there- I have no idea how they were surviving. The towels had a couple black curly hairs on them and no tissue paper in the box. The room smelled awful. The bed was uncomfortable. The hallway was noisy, at 11:30pm, with people congregating outside my door. I asked them to please be quiet because I was trying to sleep. They were very rude. Breakfast in the morning was unimpressive. No one ever told me check out time or any other important information. I'm surprised I even made breakfast, coming down at 9am. No one asked how my stay was. I was eager to get out!!! Mehr

The hotel was located in a commercial park off the beaten path. When we arrived, the mat at the front door and the carpet in the lobby was dirty. When we got to the room, the carpet in the room was also dirty and the room was musty smelling. The bathroom was so small that your leg literally touched the bathroom door when seated on the toilet. The WiFi […] worked in the room, but was very slow to load compared to other hotels that I had stayed in. The fitness room was located in an outside building, which was inconvenient since it was raining through part of my trip. The hotel allowed pets,which might be a plus if I chose to bring my dogs, but a guest had a rather large dog by the pool, which I thought was inappropriate with small children playing there. The staff was very helpful however, and loaned us their local atlas and provided copies of maps free upon request. We decided to pass on our second day there and checked out early. Mehr

Clean room, but noticed ants in my second floor room.

The rooms were non smoking, but smelled very smoky it was as if someone was smoking in the room and it was posted on door outside NO SMOKING. I requested this because I have asthma. I was very disappointed and became sick because of this. The room was not very clean. The back of the bathroom door had dust,hair and spots of something dripping on it. […] The TV entertainment center was very dusty. This made me wonder if the bathroom ( toilet,shower,sink) had been sanitized. I am the office manager for a national cleaning company and would not stay a this hotel again. Mehr

This was a very clean Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends when they are traveling.

.... food from Sam's Club or Costco, then you'll love there breakfast. There is plenty to choose from. We were very disappointed to find there tiny pool closed, eventhough the weather was plenty warm enough and offered no courtesy service to connect us the other hotel's pool which were open. The rooms are clean and smel nice, but there's no fridge in […] the room the airconditioner was very loud and would go on and off every 5 minutes, and housekeeping forgot something everyday which we had to fetch ourselves from the front desk. The laundry is on the third floor which is where the smoking rooms are available, which makes no sense for several reasons.Also they allow people to smoke right by the front door... I get it, it's the South. Furthermore, although the hotel was not very full we were given a room facing the road instead of the the greenspace located behind the hotel. We got the room the room at a discounted rate if we paid the regular rate I would be very disappointed. It'll do if you have to. Lastly, evryone who worked there was genuinely nice. Mehr

The hotel is very easy to find and located near the airport and easy driving distance to Alcoa, Maryville, Knoxville and the mountains (Walland/Foothills Parkway/Townsend, TN). There's a nice greenway trail access right behind the hotel that features a wooden walkway around a lake. The staff are all extremely nice and competent. The room was very pleasant […] with all the amenities. The breakfast is excellent, with a variety of fruits, breads, yogurts, and fresh waffle maker. I stay here everytime I come to the Alcoa/Maryville area. Mehr

Stayed for 4 nights and I was very impressed with the room. Very relaxing stay.

The hotel was clean. The staff was polite. The bathroom was VERY small and the dressing area was open, which can be a problem if everyone isn't ready to get up at the same time. The price was great! Would stay here again.

In a recent stay at the Alcoa Jameson Inn, we found the sraff to be friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were great. Would definitely stay at a Jameson Inn again.

I would stay here again - in fact I did on my return trip. The room was very great (although it did have a very small toilet/bath area) Walked to Texas Roadhouse for dinner the first stay and ordered a pizza deliverd (recommende by desk clerk) during the second stay. Very yummy! There is a beautiful greeenway walking trail in back of the hotel that […] we just happen upon when walking back from dinner. I am surprised we were not told about this fantastic feature when we checked in. If you stay here definitely walk the trail. Mehr

Loved this hotel. In fact I booked a room there for the return trip. Clean, comfortable, friendly and best of all there is a lovely, paved walking trail right behind the hotel. When you stay be sure to take a stroll. Delightful.

Relatively clean room. Very helpful and courteous staff.

I planned a brief getaway for my husband and myself. The hotel's location and 2 1/2 star rating was what helped me make my final decision. I did enjoy my stay. I thought the space was clean, the free breakfast was good and the price was great. I would come back. The only negative was the bathroom size being small, but it was definitely workable and […] I was expecting lotion in my room. But you probably had some downstairs. Could not have been more convenient to the Knoxville airport and downtown Maryville. The staff were wonderful and the rooms perfect for one night or a lengthy stay. I agree with those who reviewed before me - this hotel deserves a maximum star rating.

I was.stuck in the airport with a sick kid and needed a hotel room. Not only was the desk clerk helpful, she offered to wash our clothes since our suitcases were on the plane going to our final destination already. The room was clean and neat and the breakfast was a plus in the morning. My flight was scheduled at 140pm so the noon check out was perfect. […] Great price and great overall for unplanned stay. Free shuttle to and from the airport was great too. Mehr

This is the ONLY pet friendly motel I will ever use. The motel was spotless, reasonally priced, and the staff was the best.

The hotel was in a great location and easy to get to. Clean hotel with nice staff but small rooms and VERY SMALL bathroom! Staff was nice to guests but some of them seemed unhappy with their situation. Breakfast was OK but nothing to hoot about. I would probably look for a all suite hotel next time to have more space in the room.

This Jameson Inn location overlooks a small lake. There is a wonderful paved and lighted path around the lake that is great for riding bikes or walking. Hotel is very close to several family friendly restaraunts.

Close enough to the airport for convenience and far away enough for a quiet sleep. The surrounding area was pleasant, the lobby was clean and welcoming, the room was clean and quiet. Parking was well lit and safe. Check in/out was a breeze. Zero complaints.
