Bewertet von d aus Manchester am Sep 22, 2009
We arrived at Duesseldorf train station and after a short walk found this hotel to be perfectly situated for our needs. The Koenigsstrasse, Harbour, Altstadt and all museums and concert halls are close by. 'Lieblings' on Stresemannstrasse is a great place for breakfast as this is not included in the price. would definitely stay again.

We stayed in one of the Art Burns apartments for our wedding anniversary. The apartment was a little small and kitchen facilities basic but very clean and comfortable. It was in a separate building to the main hotel and since we didn’t opt for breakfast we only saw the reception staff to check in and out. The apartments are in a central location in Dusseldorf; about 15-20 mins walk to all the action in Aldstadt (but much closer to the main shopping district), however there were some unsavory characters walking about after dark. This did not spoil our trip but may put others off. The only other thing I would mention is that the kitchen area did not have a curtain, so the room became very light in the mornings – not great if you want a lie in! Overall we enjoyed out stay and thought the apartments were good value.

Bewertet von J aus Den Haag am Apr 21, 2009
We stayed me and my girlfriend for an easter weekend Saturday and Sunday night ,the hotel is a little difficult to find mainly because of it small frontage. The reception area is small and a little dissapointing, but the room itself was quite nice, no tea or coffe making facilities in the room which is also dissapointing especially for a supposed 4 star hotel. The guy at reception was nice and helpfull but not too efficient ,we were short of a bath towel and asked for one on our way out on the first evening ,he said he would organise it for us but by the next morning it had'nt appeared .We did manage to park in an adjoining street for no charge and found our way to the shops and bars no problem although it is a good 15+min. walk to the Old town. All in all not a bad hotel but I would normally expect more from a 4 star. But we had a lovely time in Dusseldorf so the hotel did not make too much difference

This hotel was underwhelming. I was expecting cool and artsy and it was in fact spartan and dull in terms of decor. The neighborhood was uninspiring, to say the least, and when I specifically requested a taxi that I could pay with credit card from the hotel staff - they ordered me one that only took cash. I would not go back.

We stayed at this hotel for the Christmas markets. It was ideally located about a ten minute walk away from the central old town where markets are. The hotel was spotlessly clean, served a fantatsic breakfast and had vey nice staff. The only disappointment was having no tea making facilities. I'd definitely stay here again.

We arrived at dusseldorf in the early hours of the morning and had a 15 minute walk in the pouring rain from the bus to our hotel. Once we got there we were very surprised by the quality of accommodation, especially for the price. The rooms are very minimal and calming, the beds are very comfy and the shower is great. The hotel is in a quiet part of the town which is great for getting a good nights sleep. However the hotel is only a 15 minute walk to the Ko and Alstadt. The reception staff are very helpful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Dusseldorf.

Bewertet von A aus Chesterfield am Dez 18, 2008
This hotel is in a very good location being only a maximum of a 10 minute walk from the main shopping street. Once we eventually found it the service on the front desk was exceptional. We did drive to this particular hotel and overnight parking was 11 euros per night which we thought was a bit steep. The room itself was comfortable - most impressive were the free slippers! The only grumble we had with this hotel was there was no hot drink facilities. Other than that it is a good hotel to stay in!

Bewertet von M aus London am Sep 27, 2007
The Burns Art Hotel, like most in business-based German cities, is clean, functional and a little clinical but having stayed in many others in that city, this one at least has some personality. Funky art on the walls, stylishly decorated rooms, nice toiletries, and a fabulous vaulted breakfast room in the basement all combined to make it a very pleasant stay. I will certainly endeavour to book it again, next time I'm in town. (Breakfast is a bit expensive, though - but worth it if you have a big appetite, as the spread is wonderful!)

meget tett på "alt" (gamlebyen, handlestrøk, elvebredden) men likevel trafikkstille og rolig beliggenhet. romslig balkong mot bakgård. litt små bad trekker litt ned

Bewertet von H aus Sandefjord am Sep 8, 2008
I was on business in Düsseldorf and stayed at the Burns Art for one night. The hotel is nice and comfortable and had everything that a busy traveller needs. There were no extra frills, but they were not necessary since the hotel is well located with good restaurants and bars close by. The room was not big, but nice and clean with tiled floor and no dirty carpets. The only downside was that it did not have an openable window, so I had to keep the balcony door ajar to get fresh air.

stayed over for 1 night on a weekend Dusseldorf. The hotel seems to be located in the Asian-corner of the city ;-). Lots of Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese restaurants a minute away... the rooms are very clean, nicely decorated. The breakfast bar is in the basement, with brick arch ceilings. Price for the breakfast ( not included when you reserve here ! ) is a bit high : 18 euro's per person. Other then that...I'd stay there again next time.
