Das Burns Art Hotel liegt ganz in Bahnhofsnähe in Düsseldorf und bietet ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Personal ist kompetent und hilfsbereit. Im gebuchten EZ war das Bett etwas schmal, aber man konnte drin schlafen. Sehr zu empfehlen

Großes Appartment mit Küche. Sauber, ordentlich - keine Beanstandungen. Könnte man glatt wieder hinfahren Allerdings gehört der stadtteil nicht zu den saubersten.

Im Vergleich zu europäischen Standards entspricht dieses Hotel in keiner Weise meinen Erwartungen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Sehr unpraktische Dusche, das Wasser fließt bis ins Zimmer Halogenlichte hiter den Kopf ob mann die Nacken rasieren will Zimmer bis 14 Uhr noch nicht gemacht wurden Tel ins Zimmer wenn mann Rezeption taste drückt wird nicht verbunden mann muß nach fragen welche Nr mann wählen soll ergend ein45 oder so was Falsche Information wegen Bezahlung wie […] vereinbart wurde nicht weiter gegeben und die Rezeptionistin wolte auch nicht davon was wiesen auch nicht der kollege anrufen und fragen und hat den ganze zeit verneint also nie wieder Mehr

This hotel has their room sin 3 different buildings. I booked an upgraded room and when I checked in they informed me that i had to go to another building to find my room. This building is in Charlottenstrasse, approx 300 m from the hotel reception. For breakfast you have to go back to the main building. Rooms are nice, all over okay/good quality. But […] with a lot of luggage, it is not nice to walk trough a neighbourhood, were people sit in groups of 4 - 5 on the boradwalk, drinking beer at nine in the morning!?! Also must mention that the main picture give an impression of a big, nice hotel. The main part of this building (ground floor) is a restaurant, the reception to the hotel is in a smal side entrance and breakfast is down to the basement. Mehr

We stayed at the Burns Art Hotel Apartments at the beginning of December. The purpose of our visit was to see the Christmas Markets. We were with our 80 year old grandmother so the markets were a bit of a walk for her but were only a short taxi ride away (maybe €5-€6). The hotel staff were helpful and provided a map of the city and were always happy […] to book a taxi for us which would be there within a matter of minutes. The apartments were spacious and clean but are around the corner from the hotel reception, maybe a 2-3 minute walk. There is no lift to the first floor but there is a lift from the first floor upwards. All in all we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Dusseldorf. Mehr

unfortnetly the lift starts from the first flour and not from the groundflour. this is a desadvantage with big laggague

Surprising small but thats not an issue but the "things" that make it four star just dont exist. Good parts are the friendly reception staff and location is not too bad but that was about it. I will start a wee list , towels bad , shower small (and I'm not a lardass) shower soaps etc not replaced daily even although finished, room sparce but I think […] they view that as a design feature , the Safe, you have to request a key, not a big issue I know but it adds to the hasle factor. It has the worlds smallest lift which coupled with being the slowest means I have made contact with the Guiness Book of Records to see if it can make the next issue. Now onto breakfast, surprisingly eveything hot was finished no matter what time you visited, coffee prices are rising I hear and the staff already are taking corrective steps of avoid the loss of money by alway saying the coffee is brewing and will be with you soon...strange ? But dont let me put you off ...its ok but never four star and never worth the vastly inflated rate ( there was a big show on at the time and they were cashing in along with every other hotel in the area) oooh it is clean, a huge plus.... the rest is up to you. I stayed two nights, and both nights I was awakend several times by loud noises either out in the street or in the hotel. The hotel floors are polished stone, which is great for cleanliness, but they amplify noises like people going up the stairs, people moving the furniture around (at 2 am???), or talking. The rooms are in an apartment-style building. […] There was a tiny kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator. The hotel is very close to the main train station. It's not in the best neighborhood (didn't seem dangerous, but it's run-down and there aren't any good restaurants nearby that I could find). Mehr

Very clean, modern and affordable. A good 15/20 minutes walk to the Old Town. I always got lost returning home! Friendly staff; comfortable bedroom; safe location. Didn't try the breakfast as wanted to experience the local cuisine - mistake on a Sunday as nothing opens until 10:00am!! Great value for money. I will stay again.

Courteous staff and good hotel. Main issue, we did not realize that we booked the Apartments instead of the actual hotel, which is about a 5 minute walk from the main hotel and does not have elevator from lobby, you have to go up to the first floor to talk the elevator which becomes an issue when you are checking in at midnight. Clean and the staff are freindly. It's only a few blocks to the Canal shopping district and a few more to the old city. Just a few things to make sure of , not all rooms have air conditioning and the showers look nice but don't have a curtain to keep the water in so it gets slippery as I think more water ends up on the floor than the shower.

We stayed in one of the suites on 23/24 May 2010. It was lovely and modern and within easy walking distance of the old town. The place was clean and had all that was needed. A minor criticism would be the shower which was a little awkward to get into and would not be suitable for someone with limited mobility. Also the bars in the street were open and […] noisy all night so you need to keep the windows closed. We would definitely stay there again. Mehr

We arrived at Duesseldorf train station and after a short walk found this hotel to be perfectly situated for our needs. The Koenigsstrasse, Harbour, Altstadt and all museums and concert halls are close by. 'Lieblings' on Stresemannstrasse is a great place for breakfast as this is not included in the price. would definitely stay again.

We stayed in one of the Art Burns apartments for our wedding anniversary. The apartment was a little small and kitchen facilities basic but very clean and comfortable. It was in a separate building to the main hotel and since we didn’t opt for breakfast we only saw the reception staff to check in and out. The apartments are in a central location in […] Dusseldorf; about 15-20 mins walk to all the action in Aldstadt (but much closer to the main shopping district), however there were some unsavory characters walking about after dark. This did not spoil our trip but may put others off. The only other thing I would mention is that the kitchen area did not have a curtain, so the room became very light in the mornings – not great if you want a lie in! Overall we enjoyed out stay and thought the apartments were good value. Mehr

We stayed me and my girlfriend for an easter weekend Saturday and Sunday night ,the hotel is a little difficult to find mainly because of it small frontage. The reception area is small and a little dissapointing,but the room itself was quite nice, no tea or coffe making facilities in the room which is also dissapointing especially for a supposed 4 star […] hotel.The guy at reception was nice and helpfull but not too efficient ,we were short of a bath towel and asked for one on our way out on the first evening ,he said he would organise it for us but by the next morning it had'nt appeared .We did manage to park in an adjoining street for no charge and found our way to the shops and bars no problem although it is a good 15+min. walk to the Old town.All in all not a bad hotel but I would normally expect more from a 4 star.But we had a lovely time in Dusseldorf so the hotel did not make too much difference Mehr

This hotel was underwhelming. I was expecting cool and artsy and it was in fact spartan and dull in terms of decor. The neighborhood was uninspiring, to say the least, and when I specifically requested a taxi that I could pay with credit card from the hotel staff - they ordered me one that only took cash. I would not go back.

Prima hotel. Appartement ruim, gelegen in gebouw iets verderop . Vlak naast parkeergarage a €11,- per 24 uur. Bedden aan harde kant. Lift start pas op 1e etage!

Fint hotell med god beliggenhet. Store rene rom med stort bad.

Hissi oli todella pieni ja hidas ja huone, jossa yövyin oli turvahuone, jonka lukko aiheutti kerran hankaluuksia päästä ulos huoneesta, mutta muutoin kaikki sujui mallikkaasti. Palvelu oli hyvin ystävällistä ja nopeaa. Kokonaisuudessaan hotellista jäi hyvin positiivinen kuva.

Såg fram emot ett fint 4 stjärnigt hotel, men möttes snarare av ett 2 eller möjligtvis 3 stjärnigt hotel. Det var inget direkt fel på hotelet det var rent och så men det var inte uppe i den övre klasen.

Het hotel/apartement was prima, medewerkers vriendelijk en behulpzaam, genoten van weekend. Folder zegt echter iets over moderne media, maar tv bood slechts duitse zenders, geen britse, nederlandse of franse, terwijl het een intenationale uitstraling wil hebben en veel buitenlandse gasten krijgt.

otellrommet kan bedre beskrives som en leilighet. God plass med eget kjøleskap og kokkeleringsmuligheter. Litt slitent nabolag, men på ingen måte farlig eller truende

I rented an appartment from Burns Art Hotel, they are situated in a different place close to the hotel reception. The appartment was very confortable and perfectly clean! The location however is not very nice, I had a view on a several-floor parking. The decoration is soft and pleasant but because of the name of the hotel I was expecting something […] more original. Hotel sympa, proche de la station des trains (5 min) et a 15 min du centre. L'apartement confort etait satisfaisant. Un bar bruillant a proximité, la vue vers le parking et la petit salle de bain sont les point negatifs. Les lits confortables et l'apartement etait propre. la relation qualité/pris etait correct.

meget tett på "alt" (gamlebyen, handlestrøk, elvebredden) men likevel trafikkstille og rolig beliggenhet. romslig balkong mot bakgård. litt små bad trekker litt ned
