For the most part, the hotel was ok. I liked the fact that our room was able to be divided in two with a door so that those of us that wanted to sleep could and those who wanted to stay up could as well. Very nice and clean hotel rooms, I would stay here again.

We stayed here on our way South for Spring Break and it was such a pleasant stay we made reservations for our return trip home. The breakfast is fantastic. Our room was very clean (they called about 15 min after we got into our room to see if everything was satisfactory). The staff was friendly and helpful. We stop at Country Inn and Suites every time we pass through Shepherdsville. We love the rooms, the pool, and the breakfast!

This was a great place to stay and a very nice room for the price! The staff were extremely courteous and went out of their way to make sure that our needs were met. Great place at a great price!!!

For the money I paid I was not satisfied with the suite. The temperature was difficult to regulate and the room was over all small. The couch bed was not comfortable at all. Its mattress was worn as well as the couch bed frame. I do not feel that the room was worth the money I paid out.

The folks working here made a huge postive empression as well training and friendly.

This hotel is not the value we expected to find in the area. We have been pleasantly surprised and pleased with our two recent stays. We love the Gattis' pizza there and the quality of the hotel overall! What a great find! We will absolutely be back again!

I ALWAYS choose my room by the customer reviews and they didn't let me down this time either. The room was large, well appointed and comfortable. Bed and pillows were good, nice TV, hotel lobby had a nice homey feel to it. The breakfast was nice. General manager (Mike) was very RUDE ! I would drive and extra hour to stay at a different Country INN !!

Front desk clerk was very polite and helpful. Cleaning staff were very friendly and courteous. The room was very spacious, clean and decorated beautifully. There was an indoor pool and exercise room (both very clean and well-kept). The grounds were well-maintained and there was a large grassy area behind the hotel, perfect for an evening stroll. The […] only complaint I have about the room was the refrigerator was not turned on prior to my arrival, so I had to wait until late evening to place food in it. I would definitely stay here again. Clean, comfortable, and quiet.....just right.

The hotel was just right for a late night arrival and early morning departure. The staff were kind and the breakfast was very nice.

We had a 2 night stay there and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the hotel was clean. Surpassed the SleepInn tremendously!

This is the first time we stayed at this chain of hotels and we loved our stay. Loved the fact that the whole hotel is smoke free, as I have a strong allergy to cigarette smoke. Whole hotel is clean and we loved our suite. We booked thru Hotels.com and got a good price. Breakfast was great and so was all the staff. Loved the baked cookies at the desk, […] too. Yes, this was our third stay in about 3 weeks. We had a late check in around 10:45pm at night and staff was friendly and helpful. Husband is sold on this place for in between point on travels. His comment was it is such a friendly place, everyone is so nice. Highly recommend for clean, restful stop! Enjoy!

I found this hotel about 3 weeks ago and knew it was a jewel. My whole family were traveling on a 10 hour trip and this is the perfect spot to stop and rest. Beds and bathroom very clean. Beds sleep well which a good mattress is hard to find. I also found that over next to the fireplace is a shelve of books like a library. If you can't finish the book, […] return it to ANY Country Inn and Suites the next time you travel. I borrowed two, one of Land Marshes of American, and one for interesting questions of "what ifs" for the road trip the next day. Made for a shorter trip. I checked in to a first floor room. It had a wet/musty smell. A/C didn't work well either. They offered another room, also on first floor, it was also musty. We checked two other rooms on first floor, they were the same. Second floor room was offered, it was fine, no smell, no other problems. This is an obvious problem with the first floor rooms, […] but they pretend like it doesn't exist. Second floor and higher are fine. Breakfast is pretty slim. I was looking for a nice out of the way place to stay, while visiting Louiseville for a family reunion. The place is well kept, smells clean and the staff was great. We travel ALOT and this is by far one of the nicest hotels for the money I have ever stayed at. From the parking lot to the entrance to the foyer and to the room was very neat, clean and well maintained. It is not a glitz and glam place but a very simple, looks new, CLEAN place. Convenient to the interstate and places to eat. We haul high end show cars […] in an enclosed trailer and parking was very easy. Great hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms. Good breakfast compared to most other hotels that offer a continental breakfast. Saved quite a bit by booking through hotels.com (no, i dont work for them) Sometimes I can get about the same price going directly to the hotel, but it this case, it would have been about $20 more per night.

Traveling from a conference, I had 2 children with me. The hotel is clean, looks new to me, and places outside where we could "hang out" together and talk. The beds slept wonderful, and breakfast was good. The bathroom was clean also. The hotel is at the end of a street with plenty of lighting. Stayed here for a week for work. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Hot, make your own waffles for breakfast. Comfy beds. Wonderful lending library with kids and adult books you can borrow, then return later and nice selection of magazines and newspapers. Non-smoking rooms didn't smell like smoke or heavy cleaners. Hotel was clean. A very NOISY environment with continuous Interstate noise, trains with whistles, and trash trucks. I had to constantly turn up the AC unit to blunt out the exterior noise. When the desk clerk inquired about my stay, I commented about the noise - her response - "Okay, you are ready to go." Why ask the question??

Convenient location off interstate and south of Louisville. Lots of restaurants in the area. Great breakfast, yummy chocolate chip cookies, front desk provided list of area attractions and directions to them. Fridge and microwave in room.

You can tell the place is new. The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. They also have free internet and plenty of channels to keep you entertained if you're just going there as a stop overnight. The location is close to many great restaurants, and is in a very quiet and safe location. The price was also fantastic!

The hotel was clean, comfortable & very affordable. Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area!

Great place for a family weekend away.

I was very impressed by the hotel for the price. The breakfast was amazing especially for Hotel breakfast. I would make my next reservations at the same place for next year.

Good stay and would go back. Only downside is area is congested w/ traffic and businesses (Big Lots, Kroger) are run down.

The hotel was clean for the price. the breafest was very good; eggs, walfles,cereal, donuts, beagels, milk, juice, biscuts etc.. the staff was very helpful and new the area very well. the only thing I wich was better was the pool it is small but my three kids steal enjoy the pool I enjoy the hot tube. We found the hotel to be very well maintained and clean. The breakfast bar was well stocked as. All in all a very pleasant night.

Disappointed in things about room for the price I paid (whirlpool suite): top blanket had white stain of some sort on it, pillows very poor quality/lumpy, very noisy above and outside room- worst part not being able to get to sleep. Will very likely not use again

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel in the last year. We were as pleased on the second visit as we were on the first. The hotel is clean and the staff was very nice.
