Hilton Garden Inn New York / Staten Island - Staten Island

I had a decent stay at the hotel. It is a little more 'worn' than other Hilton Garden Inns, but not too terribly so. There seems to.be quite a few parties there. The neighbors woke up the person I was traveling with, but I didnt notice. The staff seemed very friendly. Take.the ferry to NYC, its free and runs 24 hours a day.

The bathroom had a strong smell of smoke. Other than that, it was a convenient location and a nice comfortable room.

The Hilton Garden Inn on Staten Island is close to main routes. The atmosphere is attractive and welcoming. Breakfast hours are convenient if you are not an early riser. Service at front desk and dining area was friendly and helpful.

When new, this was a decent place to stay, almost worth the price. Since then, the price has risen, but the condition of the rooms and quality of staff have gone downhill. Needs a makeover and an infusion of class. Overpriced for a stay on Staten Island.

We were there for New Year's Eve. We booked on line and it made no mention that the pool was closed for the Holiday. When we went for a swim, we were told the pool was closed and there was a sign stating as much. So we took it in stride understanding that everyone deserves a holiday. However, notmore than an hour goes by and we see the staff prepping […] other patrons for the pool and they open the pool for them. All in all the Manager when we checked in was great and the service other than the pool incident was very good. Mehr

I periodically travel to NYC for business and depending on schedule, it makes sense to stay out in Staten Island sometimes. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times now and couldnt be happier. Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, and great food at Lorenzo's restaurant in the hotel (especially for the Sunday brunch!). What more can you ask […] for?! I will be staying at this hotel now everytime I go to Staten Island. No need to look any further that the Hilton Garden Inn. Mehr

Very nice hotel, room was great, modern and super clean. Just beware of the restaurant when ordering food to go-they messed up my order..TWICE..eventually I just ate whatever they gave me because it wasn't worth the hassle...

Food at breakfast buffet was sub par. Bed is so uncomfortable, it was an adjustable air bed and was either hard as concrete or you sunk into a hole. Party goers down the hall yelling in the halls waking everyone up. Had to call front desk at 3 am to complain, but security came up and shut them up right away. You might forget this hotel soon;there's nothing really remarkable about it. Decent price for what is offered and a good value overall. The duvet in my room was horrible. It had obviously been washed when maybe dry cleaning would have been the better call. It was so lumpy that I originally thought the bed was unmade when I first entered the room.

This location has seen it's better days. Public areas are worn out. Restaurant breakfast foods are on par with a Comfort Inn - take that back not as good!

The hotel was very nice and a pleasant change compared to staying (and paying) in downtown manhatten. The free shuttle to the staten island ferry was a huge plus and made our stay very pleasant and easy to commute as our business was in manhattan. We will definitely stay here on our next visit and I have already recommended to my friends who are looking […] to visit manhattan this summer. The only negative - make sure you book your trip back to staten island with the front desk...we were told we could just give an hour notice of our return and have the shuttle waiting for us. this worked the first day but the 2nd day we ran into a little attitude from the front desk and a longer wait for the shuttle....still it was free and the drivers are very friendly. The hotel staff were incredible. they couldn't do enough for us and EVERYONE who works there were super friendly. Impeccable customer service. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I couldn't believe I was in NYC

We were pleasantly surprised at how friendly and courteous the hotel personnel was from the very beginning. The rooms were comfortable and spacious although I really did not like all the noise in the hallway all the time sometimes at early hours. The restaurant "Lorenzos" was very expensive and offered a minimal menu. The staff was always ready to accommodate […] any need you may have. We have stayed before and will again in September. If you like "fine dining" you will really enjoy the restaurant. If you prefer something else you are within driving distance to whatever you want.

The staff was impeccable. After my friend dropped $400 in her room by accident, the next day, not only did she find the money on the dresser, the cleaning woman even checked to make sure she got it. The rooms are spacious, clean, and include amenities such as refridgerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron, and wi-fi (and they all worked). My room smelled like old cheese. In addition, the people in the next room were fighting and yelling at each other. I had to call security several times to try and reduce the yelling and screaming but that only made it worse. Now I realize that is not the hotels fault but they did nothing to help the situation. I was visiting family on Staten Island and so the Hilton was a convenient place for me to stay. The hotel could use a face lift. The furniture is looking a little tacky both in the lobby and the room. It was well maintained as far as cleanliness is concerned. I would stay there on a future trip.

check in was super friendly. pool hours were closed, but they made accommodations for my children. even rec'd a hand written thank you note a check out. highly recommend.

Too much crowd, smoke even in non-smoking rooms, could not get a room that was requested a month before the arrival. Hard to find parking due to constant parties in the hotel.

The room was comfortable, but the toilet ran all night long. I thought it was the neighbor, flushing their toilet every 10 min. When I mentionned it to the main desk at check out, they said thanks they would inform housekeeping. Nothing was offered as an apology, not even a cup of coffee after a rough nights sleep. It's always been expensive to stay in New York City, but if the borough you stay in is no big worry, then stay on Staten Island for the best rates. However, know that you'll need a car, and that the bridge and tunnel tolls are no longer cheap. I reserved a king-sized bed room, and it was plenty roomy and quiet. clean hotel. helpful staff

The hotel was our destination, as we were attending a wedding that was held in the hotel. Every facet of our experience was outstanding. We were met by a very courteous staff, allowed to check in early so that we could be changed and ontime for a wedding after a 4 hour drive. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable, with […] clean, fluffy linens. The event we attended was beautiful, the staff was very attentive, although there was at least one other event occurring similtaneously in another room. The hotel is very trendy and the lobby is a very active area with a bar and wifi access. We were on the 3rd floor and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the room was. We did not hear street noise or lobby noise only the occasional door closing down the hall - and the hotel was completely full. We had the small king room and the comfortable bed […] took up most of the floor space with only one desk chair for seating but that was fine as we were only in the room to sleep. The bathroom was roomy and well appointed but hot water was limited in the morning. I will definately stay here again. For the money, the small inconvenience of a lukewarm shower was worth it. We didn't eat at the lobby restaurant or order room service as the prices seemed excessive. We walked around the corner and got a bagel. Breakfast buffet of poorer quality compared to stay in April. Swimming pool closed during times we could use it.

맨하탄 World Trade Center 및 Philadelphia에 볼 일이 있어서 접근성이 좋은 곳을 고른다고 고른 호텔인데, 생각보다는 Toll도 너무 많이 내야하고 길도 좀 막히는 편이어서 뉴저지쪽으로 구할걸 그랬나 하고 약간 후회했습니다. 전반적인 시설은 괜찮았는데, Non-smoking room을 예약했는데, 방에 들어가보니 담뱃재에 그을린 카펫에 베어있는 담배냄새가 별로 기분좋게 느껴지지 않았고, 화장실 샤워커튼에서 물비린내(?) 같은 것이 나기도 했습니다. 또한 창밖을 내다볼 수 없게 높은 벽이 쳐져있어서 조금 답답했습니다.
