Im NH Giustinano stimmte alles: Zum Mittelklassepreis gab es ein sehr modern und stilvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer (hatten allerdings das Angebot zum Upgrade wahrgenommen). Das Zimmer war groß, das Bett sehr bequem. Das Bad war klein, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was erforderlich ist. Das Zimmer war nach erstem Anschein sauber. Der Service war in Ordnung, insbesondere beim Frühstückspersonal hätten wir uns mehr Freundlichkeit gewünscht. Aber das ist nach unserer Erfahrung Rom-typisch. Das Frühstück selbst war vielseitig und schmackhaft (mit Ausnahme des Automaten-Kaffees).

Das Hotel liegt ausserhalb von Rom und ist wirklich sehr günstig über die Bahnstation Pantanella zu erreichen. Es ist in einem sehr guten Zustand mit Marmorböden und vielen Details, die es schön verzieren. Ein typisches italienisches Früstück ist zu erwarten, das sich in Umfang vom deutschen unterscheidet. Leider haben wir gefühlt das mit Abstand schlechteste Zimmer bekommen, da es im Gegensatz zum gesamten Hotel wirklich sehr einfach eingerichtet war. Aber es war sauber und wir hatten vier schöne Tage in Rom. Empfehlenswert vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Wir verbrachten insgesamt 4 Tage mit unseren Kindern in Rom. Das Familienappartement des B&B war Ideal für uns. Die Lage In unmittelbarer Nähe zum Kolosseum und zur Metro war hervorragend. Der Vermieter ist unheimlich freundlich und hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ruhig gelegen, die Betten waren sehr gut.

"Funky hotel with great ambiance"
We stayed here with our 16 year old daughter - convenient to Vatican and metro. Loved our room, especially the disco ball in the bathroom. Only complaint is that the Internet kept dropping in our room -hopefully they will get that fixed, but it is free and works great in the lobby area. Breakfast was fresh and include fabulous coffee and fresh squeeze […] orange juice. If you go DEFINITELY eat at Taverna Romana across the street - best food in Rome! Mehr

"Franklin Feel the Sound - close to the vatican"
great hotel. good breakfast. great for what you pay. located in a quieter area of rome. old bridge gelateria is a definite recommend for gelato (10-15 min walk.. right next to the vatican museums).
"Overrated and not so friendly service"
We came for a three nights stay and arrived alte in the evening. The person at the desk declared that they had only the smallest rooms available and it was really small, but clean and modern. The staff was however unfriendly for the duration of our stay. Amongst many episodes, we (a couple) witnessed a native american couple being severely harassed […] at breakfast for not knowing the italian terms for various types of coffee. The hotel is very small and sterile, but can probably offer some value in the bigger rooms. There are many more beautiful, friendlier, cheaper and better located hotels in Rome so I would not reccomend this place for any travellelers. I does unfortunately not live up to its potential. Mehr
"Hotel Frankilin Feel the Sound Rome"
This is a 'very cool' hotel. As a drummer, myself, it was delightful to have a snare drum as a bedside table. More importantly, the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - with taxis, with directions, with nearby restaurants, with everything. It's only 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. "Great Stay"
The staff was nice and helpful. Our room was small, but didn't ruin the experience at all. It was about a 10 min. walking to the Vatican and close to the metro stop and other restaurants and shops. The only downfall was having to take a taxi to any of the cool piazza's.
"Not reccomended"
We had booked a two nights stay here and were assigned a very small room. Had no problems with that, but a neverending story of rude staff caused some irritation during our stay. One example was an american couple being harrased during breakfast for not knowing the various types of italian coffees...
"Fun, Quirky place"
Great place - would stay there again, helpful staff, SUPER clean, very conveinent to metro B line, Vatican, and fantastic neighborhood restaurants. Stay here if you are tired of generic hotels, as this place has lots of charm, music gear around as decorations.

"Trendy but economical hotel with many nice touches"
Very good service, comfortable if conpact room. Many very nice little touches, from the drums which doubled as bedside tables, to the revolving mirror ball in the bathroom to make your own psychadelic experience! Cannot recommend highly enough. We were there with a 19 mth old baby, and we had a brilliant time. Very well located for Vatican museums, […] and for metro. Great breakfasts. Complimentary wi-fi internet, and access to a huge range of CDs and also some DVD's to chill in your room. Top quality CD, DVD and TV in room. One of the best hotel experiences of the last few years. "Feel the Sound in Rome"
Close to the Vatican and St. Peters but not much else. Very clean and nice hotel but make sure they give you the best room available for your reservation. I booked a queen but got a tight double. Was a bit of a squeeze with a friend. Tip: go to the restaurant across the street for dinner - Taverna Romana. Excellent!!

Staying at Franklin Feel The Sound was a wonderful experience as the hotel is charming, has great service and is very warm. The room is spacious and well appointed with a large and spotless bathroom attached. Its a 5-10 minute walk from the Vatican and 15-20 minutes by Metro to all the main attractions of Rome. It has an restaurant very close by, Guiliana […] 59, that serves excellent, freshly cooked Italian food that is serious about quality and service but is unpretentious and comfortable. "Finding this hotel"
I warn you that this small hotel is not easy to find so get excellent directions. No one seems to have ever heard of it and when all was said and done, it is very near the public subway system and was walkable when leaving. The directions were not good so really sleuth this out before hand, especially if you get to Rome, are tired from your long flight […] and have to manage finding this place. Mehr

"Great Boutique Hotel A Short Stroll From The Vatican"
Fantastic music themed hotel. We went for our anniversary and it didn't disappoint. Snare drums as bedside tables and a disco ball in the bathroom were all really nice touches. Big comfortable bed in an ample size room.....bath was enough for two and the huge mirror next to the bed was...........fun. Decent continental brekkie with freshly squeezed […] orange juice, and all a 10 min stroll from the metro and 15 min stroll to the Vatican. Only 2 small downsides: air con could've been a bit colder in the room and the TV channels were very limited.....but hey I wasn't really there to watch telly. Mehr

"Rigtig lækkert hotel - tæt på centrum"
Hotel Franklin Feel the sound er et rigtig lækkert hotel, med flotte faciliteter og lækker morgenmadsbuffet. Det ligger i gå afstand fra Vatikan staten, castel sct. Angelo og metro station. Eneste minus var at under vores ophold var hotellet ved at renovere to værelser i stueetagen, så der var en del støj fra arbejdet, men dette arbejde er jo også kun […] midlertidigt, så vi var bare uheldige at være der, i mens de var ved at bryde en væg ned. Ellers er det her hotel virkelig lækkert og kan klart anbefales. Personalet er behjælpeligt med næsten alt, og taler rigtig godt engelsk. Vi er ihvertfald enige om at det er ikke sidste gang vi bor på Franklin - Feel the sound. Mehr

Hotel situato in un' ottima posizione per raggiungere sia i monumenti sia la zona dei Tribunali. Hotel silenzioso, moderno e naturalmente per amanti della buona musica.

Check in, no problem. We got room 902, which is on the first floor. Very nice room, good size. Disco bathroom, BO stereo system, speaker in the bathroom, CD's in the reception. Semi-private backyard with table/chairs. Air condition. Really cool room. Stylish and well-sized. Somewhat hard pillows but this is a minor issue. Bed was good. The Hotel is […] located about a 10 minute walk from the Vatican State in a quite street. Metro stop Ottaviano San Pietro - Musei Vaticani is close by (7 minute walk). There is also restaurants nearby. There is also a bus stop nearby the hotel, so no problem with public transport. We stayed 4 nights and had the breakfast every day, which was nice. Breakfast room inside, and tables in backyard. Good coffee, fresh orange juice, bread, fruit and so on. All in all a good selection. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Ask for room 902 :-) Mehr
"Très bon hotel"
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette hôtel confortable avec un concept musical original. Les chambres sont propres et le pt déjeuner très correct. Le personnel est prévenant mais ne connait pas forcement bien le quartier qui ne présente pas beaucoup d'intérets si ce n'est sa proximité du Vatican et du métro (5-10 min).
molto carino, buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, comodo perchè vicino al centro, ottimo nel complesso!

"Excellent value"
A good hotel, nice location just north of the Vatican city. 2 minutes to walk to the bus, 5 minutes to the metro, 15 minutes to the Vatican. The staff was friendly and helpful, being able to bring cd's up to your room was a nice touch and they serve THE BEST American coffee in Rome - seriously! Recommended.
"Franklin Feel The Sound - hotell med musiktema"
Enkelt, fräscht hotell med väldigt tillmötesgående personal. Hotellets skick är inte jättebra, men inte dåligt heller. Vi hade problem med att duschen läckte ut vatten över badrumsgolvet, men efter att ha påpekat detta fick vi (efter några dagar) ett större, bättre och helt rum. Det var väldigt lyhört ut mot korridoren, så om man gillar att sova länge […] kommer man troligen väckas av städpersonalen. Frukosten får betyget godkänt (den ingick i priset). Inget riktigt täcke, utan bara ett lakan tillsammans med en filt, men sånt får man väl räkna med på ett budgethotell. Så, det är inget lyxhotell, men väldigt prisvärt, och allt som allt är jag nöjd. "Séjour en amoureux idéal!!!"
Un hôtel sympa et très bien entretenu. Personnel à l'accueil très aimable et serviable. Salle de petit déjeuner un peu petite en cas d'affluence mais personnel très aimable également. Un hôtel à recommander pour une découverte du Vatican de Rome!

Lille dejligt og særprget hotel. Skøn lille gårdhave. Værelserne er små men det er de vist også på andre hoteller i Rom. Meget venligt personale. Ok beliggenhed
"Et hotell med særpreg"
Hotellet ligger i et rolig område med kort vei til buss til Trastevere (buss 23) og ca. 10 min. gange til Metrostasjon (linje A). Rent og fint rom/bad. B&O musikkanlegg på rommet. CDer til låns i resepsjonen. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Grei fokostbuffé med spiseplass i bakhage. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.
