I probably was an unusual guest because I stayed for just one night. The Extended Stay is (as their name indicates) spezialised on guests that stay for at least several days. Pros: very friendly staff, clean and big rooms, kitchen in the room - Cons: I couldn't find any Cons... Just a great hotel for a good price.

"Wingate by Wyndham is sweet!"
This hotel was terrific! It was super clean. The staff was really friendly. The breakfast was very nice. The location is perfect. One of the things we liked the best was the greenway that is just down the hill from the hotel. It was nice to go for a morning jog or just go for a nice walk. "Recommended!"
This was the first time I've stayed at this particular Wingate. I arrived late at night, and check-in was smooth. I'd booked a queen room with a sofabed. Upon arriving in the room, I found plenty of towels, and everything was clean and in great condition. The bed was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows, and the sheets were clean. The next night […] I enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, which were also well taken care of. While pricier than other options, the room was completely worth it! "Not Bad"
We stayed at the Buford Wingate for two nights the end of January 2012. The staff was friendly and helpfull, the room was clean, but the breakfast was not very good. It is a nice, clean hotel that feels more like a motel. I would stay there again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. It was a good deal for the price.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and the rate was great. Very surprised by the quality. It is also very close to shopping and restaurants. Definitely will stay again.

The service at this hotel was first rate, but the one thing I choose it for - the fitness center - was abysmal. Most of the equipment was broken or out of order; even the TV's remote was MIA so you had to turn it on and change channels manually. Normally not a big deal, but I need a chair to reach it. One of the staff suggested a gym 'about 10 minutes […] away.' There are about 6-8 hotels in the area at the same price point and I picked the one whose fitness center didn't work. Very disappointed. "Nice and Quiet"
I really enjoy staying at this hotel. I wish they would give me an affordable monthly rental rate because I would live there. Staff is good, place is clean, quiet, and perfect.

We were very pleased with our very short stay at the Wyndham. The hotel was in a great area. The staff were very friendly. Our room was large, spacious, spotless and the King bed was amazing in comfort. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to those looking for a nice place to stay.
I stayed overnight for New Years Eve to celebrate with family that lives nearby. I arrived with a hungry 2 mos old adn got my key to the room in the 4th floor, key doesn't work, baby crying her lungs out, had to go back to the desk. they fixed it. Took a shower and when I was to dry my hair dryer didn't work. I guess, for reasons I don't understand […] I decided to bring my own hair dryer. Well, the oulet in the bathroom was out! We enjoyed our recent stay at the Wingate very nuch. The hotel was clean, quiet and nicely decorated. A great location for shopping at the Mall of Georgia.
"convenient and fairly cheap"
I didn't spend much time in the room. But the bathrooms were clean. The only thing i did notice was a slightly brown stain on a white tower. Obviously I didn't use it and used the other ones they had. This is the second time I'm staying in this place. The first time they did have some complementary drinks in my fridge. This time it was empty. It didn't […] bother me but I just noted the difference. Manager was nice. There is also a swimming pool and a gym. Overall I would say I had a very pleasant stay in this place. Mehr
"Stayed here many times"
This hotel offers great value. Relatively low cost and great location. I have several family members near the Mall of GA and try to visit the area at least once a month. I tend to use Hotels.com to find the lower cost options. Note: I did notice that the hotels.com website offered better deals than the mobile app for android. Wingate did not show up […] on the mobile app but did on the website and I booked it on the fly. Mehr
"Wingate-Buford"
The coffeemaker was broken, holes in the bathroom door, one of phones in room didn't work. They closed the pool at 10am. We could see into adjacent hotel and people were still swimming. Their breakfast is only 6-9am. Lady at front desk rude when checked out. Very disappointing. And, they did not have the neutrogena amenities but had finesse. Not what […] use to in a Wingate. Mehr
"Least soundproof hotel we have eve stayed in!"
We have stayed at Wingate hotels before but this one was terrible! I heard the people upstairs and the people in the rooms on either side as well as people in the hallway, all hours of the day! These people were not yelling, just talking and I could hear them clear as day. We were awakened at 1:30am, 4:15am, 6:30am and then I just gave up on sleeping! […] I am not alight sleeper either! We have taken Wingate off our list of hotels we will stay in! Mehr

"Great Choice"
Had a girls retreat weekend. All of us stayed comfortably in one room. Great location to shopping areas and restaurants. Hotel staff was very pleasant. Room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The Hotel itself has a nice decor. Will use again. The price was excellent. Booked on hotel.com. Can't thank you enough.

Great hotel. The only thing wrong was breakfast. Toaster didn't work, food was not as good as some hotels free breakfast. But I would still go back there.

Very pleased with comfort, cleanliness, ample room size and amenities. Full hot breakfast made mornings very nice. Location provided easy access for shopping and travel to wedding and other events. Great place for the price.
Excellent location, courteous staff. Breakfast was good and efficient. Staff even kept breakfast area open late on Saturday to accommodate guests.

"Wingate in Atlanta Buford"
Good accommodations for the price and good location to the Mall of Georgia. The bed was comfortable, but had to put a shirt over the heater/cooler vent to keep from blowing on the person laying next to the wall, near the vent. My suggestion to the hotel staff would be to move the bed away from the vent or have the register blow from above near the ceiling. […] The continental breakfast was ok, but lacked enough protein: no hard boiled eggs when requested and no more yogurt was put out half way thru the breakfast time. Had to eat more bread/bagel items to fill up. Mehr
"Good but Not Great"
The front desk was disorganized. There were four checking in and two employees working to register one guest. The room had a stale odor. The bed was totally uncomfortable. One of the worst night sleeping I have had in a while.

Hotel very close to shoppng area. When booking we thought the breakfast would be more than ordinary continental breakfast. Paid an additional amount. Next time I will book the lower rate an go out for breakfast. Otherwise, the stay was excellent.

"Really Nice Hotel for the price"
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only thing I was not a fan of was in the morning my hallway smelled like incense. Other than that it was really nice.
"Wingate Buford-great hotel close to great shopping"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was so nice and accomodating. They even asked if my children wanted to swim a little longer than pool closing time since we were late arriving at hotel. Even though this might be considered minor to most it really made a difference to my kids which made a big difference for me. I thought this was customer service […] at its finest...this little bit of generosity really caught my attention "doing what it takes to satisfy the customer" and we will definitely let others know. Breakfast was good...kids enjoyed making the waffles...I enjoyed the coffee. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. For the price we paid we were extremely happy with our stay and will definitely return to this hotel on our next trip to Mall of Georgia. Thank you! Mehr

Love Wingate, always have but I was little disappointed in the fitness room.
"Did not get what I asked for when I reserved"
We reserved 2 connecting rooms. We specifically asked for CONNECTING rooms, when we arrived the only set of connecting rooms where already occupied. It was very inconvenient for us, we were traveling wih our kids and grandparents. Not sure how else to ask for connecting rooms when it was out only request. Breakfast was picked up too early, most places […] we have stayed at breakfast was available til 10:00a.m. Here it was 9:30 and the lady that puts out and picks up the breakfast was very rude, and no customer service skills. We couldnt even feed our kids cereal and milk cause she took it all away, when we started to serve the cereal. Not very happy with this hotel, don't think I would stay there again, or recommended. "Very Helpfull"
My little boy got sick that night and need something to eat and the staff when out of their way to help me. She could have told me where a store was but she didn't she when to a closet and got me what I needed. If I am ever in that area again I will stay there again!!
