"Room 322at lights"
Great hotel however the building spot light shines directly into room 322 and there is no black out shades or even closable curtains. It was brighter in my room at night than during the day.

Great location right off of I-85. Lots of places to eat close by. Short drive to Clemson University. Friendly staff. Very nice selection with breakfast. Eating area very clean. Appreciated the hard boiled eggs and new hot egg sandwiches. Rest of items for the breakfast were also much appreciated.

Hotel Front Desk staff was waiting for us. Check in took less than 1 minute. The room was clean and well appointed. Our room was near the elevator, and I don't really like that due to noise, but in this hotel that was not a problem. Very quite. The bed was extremely comfortable. This was my first time visiting Anderson. I didnt know what to expect, but this hotel exceeded my expectations. My room was pretty big,and the front desk staff quickly responded to all of my concerns. I was looking for the water fountain and the front desk receptionist offered me bottled water instead. This hotel is a 5 minute walk to the movies, and […] a 30 second walk to many surrounding restaurants,including J. Peters(which I also recommend). I was a little afraid because I got a good rate through hotels.com and had never been to the area, but the reviews available were helpful and I was very pleasantly surprised. We just needed a room to break the drive up and it was perfect. Room was spacous (especially compared to the NYC walk-in closet size room). Very clean, very helpful, and very convenient. Room was clean, staff was polite and helpful, free breakfast had a fair selection. The room was a little small, but not a problem since I was travelling by myself. If I had been with the wife and kids, things would have been tight. I don't know if the hotel gets rowdy during football season, since I stayed during the week.

After a really negative experience with one of your competitors last year, we decided to look for a hotel that was slightly further away but sitll an easy distance to commute to Anderson for the Play. Even without the other (terrible experience) hotel to compare it to, we've stayed many places all over the east coat and your hotel definitely ranked […] well in the upper percentage of places we'd recommend to friends and especially places we'd return. The room was very nice.

Very clean, good breakfast. Only drawback was full beds instead of queen in the double room. Lots of fast food and other food in the immediate area, as well as a movie theater. Super convenient!

Easy to find, right off the interstate. Service was great, beds were so comfortable. We stayed in a Executive King Suite with our 2 yourng boys and infant- it was perfect for the weekend. Pool was beautiful.. and the breakfast was great.. loved it!

"My stay at the Fairfield Inn in Anderson, SC"
The hotel was lovely and very clean with a terrific and convenient location. The only problem was with a very few room filled, they placed us next to the kitchen. It was so noisy the entire morning we could not sleep. I have had hotel do this before. I have never understood why when there are few guests they don't place people in the most ideal room […] locations. It was frustrating. Next time I will ask to be moved, but when you don't know until you are awakened by clanging and banging there is little that can be done at that point. Mehr

Even though I know that some "critters" are difficult to keep out, there was a waterbug waiting for us on the floor in the middle of the room. It was dead and on it's back which makes me think it could have been sprayed. I was happy that there weren't any live ones but just seeing it slightly grossed me out. Very easy to find - down the road from the highway. Easy to get in and out of. Nice hotel, very clean rooms. Looks like it has been updated recently. Helpful and courteous employees. Good breakfast bar with fresh fruits!

Very nice clean hotel. The staff was so nice everyone was friendly. The breakfast was ok however the staff working the breakfast bar was so accomdating and nice to our grand daughter. Great place to stay.

Though I checked in a day early and paid the going rate, I did expect the room to be cleaned the next day. Didn't happen. The night clerk had to bring us fresh towels and take out the trash. Day two of our stay--we returned to the hotel at 3:15 P.M. to find our room had still not been cleaned. Took a nap in the lobby while they cleaned our room. Day […] Three--returned to the room at 10:00 P.M. and the room had not been touched. Talked to the desk clerk who stated the maid had said my wife told her we only wanted fresh towels that day. Guess what? That didn't happen. And we didn't get any fresh towels until the night clerk brought towels and linens to our room and took out the trash. When I talked to the Manager the following day and asked that we be comped a night for their housekeeping tardiness, he told me that he would not comp me a night (even though the first night was straight credit card and not Hotels.com) but that he would load me up with enough points to stay at another inn free of charge or come back and stay at his inn free of charge for a night. Fat chance of that happening. The inn is clean, the front staff is friendly and courteous--but housekeeping is a joke if this is an example. I will not return to Fairfield Inn. Mehr
"Anderson"
The staff were great, and the room was very nice. The only complaint I had was that there was not new rolls of tissue in the bathroom, but when I asked the desk clerk for more, she quickly accommodated my request. The lady in the breakfast area was especially nice too.

"Exceeded Our Expectations"
Our stay was great. The hotel was more contemporary than I expected it to be, and the wireless internet was really convenient. Breakfast included waffles, sausage biscuits, fresh fruit, cereals, bagels, fresh coffee, and juice. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

"Stay was nice enough..."
The hotel was location was great and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a small problem with spiders...one we killed in our room and two in the hallway, but sometimes things like this happen based on the season. The young lady at the front desk upon our arrival had a habit of placing my husband's credit card down on the desk when she returned […] it to him. This is one of his pet peeves....if he hands it to you, he expects for you to hand it back to him. The hotel offers 24 hour service for coffee/tea. There was no regular sugar so we requested it from the "night" front desk lady. She brought it over but appeared to have an attitude. I thanked her but she did not acknowledge my "thanks". Overall, the stay was good with the exception of these small mishaps. Mehr
