It was a nice hotel but my hotel door didn't work properly and the shower didn't have hot water or proper drainage.

The only issues for me were the fridge didn't get sufficiently cold, we were charged for parking eventhough they had their own lot & it could get full pretty quickly, otherwise the location was great, the rooms have been recently rehabbed so they were great & clean. The staff was friendly especially the guy from Italy (who just so happened to jump in […] the pool to rescue a child whose mom had froze in panic & couldn't move.) Mehr

Small cramped room. They tried to make us change rooms.. during a 2 day stay? The hotel staff was lazy and didn't speak much english.

Hotel was less than half empty but we were stuck in the only room with no balcony and a view of a white wall with pipes. We didn't notice this till much later as we checked in our room and left immdiately for the beach. The next day at check out, the 2 women at the front desk thought we should have said something at check in. As if I am to know what […] the hotel availability is? Eventually the one lady agreed with me that they should save that room for last when checking people in, while the other held fast that it was my fault for not saying something at check in. And this after explaining to both of them at check in that we specifically chose their hotel after extensive review reading before our trip. The floors are tile which is a huge plus as carpet in a tropical zone is gross. I read a review where someone thought the floors were dirty or sticky. The humidity on the tile may make them feel that way somewhat but the rooms are very clean and even have a chemical cleaner smell to prove it! You don't notice it after you're inside the room for a few minutes. The beds have a cloth mattress cover with plastic underlining which makes you sweat at night. Hotel is not very quiet but not excessively loud either. A little color would go A LONG WAY in this hotel as everything inside and out is blindingly white. Bathrooms are clean and modern. Believe it or not folks, this is one of the better hotels in the area for the price. I'll be back. Mehr

Great price, good location (in miami beach and minutes from south beach), simple and clean look and space. Nothing fancy but great for location and price.

Inexpensive hotel nice and neat inside not a run down place at all but it's just a place to lay your head not somewhere where u r going to wake up and look at the ocean

This hotel looks like it was originally a Super8 or Motel 6. Rooms overlooking a parking lot. They appear to be doing renovations of all the rooms. The lobby is nice - kinda funky. My Room was a little small, but I appreciated the mini-fridge. I needed just a basic room for the night, and the Collins was fine. No frills. If you are on a budget for a Miami visit this is a good choice. Rooms are small but newly remodeled. Comfy beds. Lots of places to eat or drink nearby. Safe neighborhood.

Hotel was very basic. The rooms don't have irons you have to get that from the front desk and there are no ironing boards. The hotel staff was accomadating but not very friendly. Only one person spoke English at the front desk. The hotel was being renovated so the power went out from 11am-1 pm. If you dońt check out by 11 they charge you extra also […] early check in is extra. It was a functional hotel for a one night stay and the price but you get what you pay for. I would not stay here again. The money you spend on cabs is worth the price of a better hotel closer to the strip. Mehr

Was forced to look for cheaper alternative hotel options during ING Marathon weekend as the bigger named hotels were sold out. Ended up paying half of what I was expecting to pay for a hotel room. Although the hotel was under remodel was pleasantly surprised with the comfort, cleaniliness, & service. Not a high end hotel with pretty views. (balcony […] faces parking lot --and pool). But well worth the price!!! Parking lot and hotel also felt safe to be there. Will return to Hotel Collins again!!! Mehr

Have to admit, it was very sketchy looking from the outside, it looked like most of it was under construction. Inside, however it was very clean and modern. Actually, maybe too modern, as the tile floors everywhere (even inside the room) create a lot more echo than necessary. But that's probably the only downside. Stayed 3 nights - the room was clean and newly remodeled. Recieved great service from the staff who accomodated our request for a room with a balcony. Had the pool to ourselves. Good location and across the street from the beach. No frills but great value for the price.

It's not the Ritz but it's not expensive, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. If what you want is a comfy place to sleep, it's a good choice. If you want to stay in bed in a push room, don't stay at the Collins. On the down side, it's still under renovation and the pool area is in the middle of a construction site. This is not South beach. […] This is a 3 star hotel at the most but a clean and safe one. Mehr

The hotel just finished rennovating one if it's buildings and you could see the begginings of rennovation on the second. The rooms were spacious and clean, however, there was a musty odor coming as soon as you walked in. The ladies at the front desk were rude and not accomadating. I asked for cabs and they told me to go to the corner. I asked for a […] new room because of the odor from mine, and they told me they couldn't do anything about it. All in all the rooms were nice enough for a day or two stay but nothing more. Mehr

No signage for on the building so I walked past it three times. Rooms nicely updated and clean. Paid for a late checkout but room key expired at 11 and hotel staff was not aware of late checkout Reserved two double beds but room was a queen. Staff fixed this but the whole checkin process took about 30 min. Overall a bargain for Miami Beach.

The hotel ocean breeze was just wonderfull

I booked this hotel on a whim and couldn't have been happy with the value. This is one of the best kept secrets of Miami Beach. If you're like me, the only time you spend in your room is to sleep (barely), so I don't like to spend a lot of money on accomodations. Fun money is more important to me. This hotel was clean, even though construction was underway, […] and I would definitely stay there again. The only mistake I made was not paying more attention to the location. I typically stay in South Beach, however this ia great location in North Beach and it's located right next to one of the best Brazilian cafes I've been to outside of Brazil. Hôtel simple, chambre propre, confortable, équipement moderne. Proche restauration. Coin piscine agréable mais petit.

Honnête pour le prix. dommage que les murs soient peu épais et rendent donc l'hôtel bruyant si des clients mal élevés sont à votre étage! Préférez les chambres dans le bâtiment loin de la réception et près de la piscine. Attention: travaux de construction d'un immeuble qui ont débuté début 2012 en face de l'hôtel. Pour une ou deux nuits, pas plus.

Achei um ótimo custo benefício para o hotel. Todos os profissionais foram muito cordiais, o quarto de casal tem uma ótima cama e foi limpo durante todos os dias. Nyrenoverat litet hotell med minimalistisk inredning samt reception med minimal bemanning, i övrigt ingen betjäning. Inga ätmöjligheter på hotellet men ett flertal mindre restauranger och snabbarer finns i dess omedelbara närhet. Bra parkering med slutna grindar i omedelbar anslutning till hotellet. Små rum med stengolv och kala väggar men med bekväma […] sängar, gratis wifi samt bra teveapparat. Inredningen består i övrigt av ett mindre skåp för kläder samt en "skrivbordsbänk" med lådor och enkel stol. En effektiv men mycket högljudd luftkonditioneringsapparat är placerad på ena väggen. Rummets fönster är brett men mycket smalt samt högt placerat och ger därför endast möjlighet att betrakta himlen! Korridorerna i hotellet är mycket smala. En liten hiss finns men går inte hela vägen ned till entréplanet varför bagage får bäras upp för smal halvtrappa. Trappan är dock är försedd med en sorts hjälpanordning, liknande sådan lyftanordning som används för rullstolstransporter, vilken vid behov kan användas för lyft av tyngre bagage. Väggar, tak och dörrar i hotellet är genomgående vita med stengolv i grått. (Gäller i varje fall de delar av hotellet som jag var i kontakt med). Allt är mycket rent och fräscht men hela anläggningen ger ett sterilt och spartanskt intryck, man får närmast känslan av att befinna sig på en ungdomsvårds- anstalt eller liknande institution. Jag gör dock inte tummen ned för hotell Collins. För ungdomar och även för andra icke lyxhungrande gäster som är vana att klara sina bagagetransporter m.m. på egen hand är det ett bra övernattningsställe till rimlig prisnivå. Mehr

o Hotel tem um bom atendimento é todo limpo, o serviço de quarto é perfeito, as camareiras apresentam um otimo trabalho, quarto limpinho!

Les recomiendo considerar la propuesta de incluir en el precio de la habitaccion los 10 dolares que cobran por noche por uso del estacionaniento, de manera de evitar sorpresas de gastos adicionales a la hora de realizar la salida o checkout.

Limpio pero un poco caro para lo que es. Buena ubicación.

Buen hotel sin lujos, pero con una buena ubicacion habitaciones muy comodas y sobre todo muy limpias buena ubicacion, con auto.-

O único problema foi o banho gelado por 2 dias

Ny oppusset og fint hotel. Noe bråk fra aircondition.

Rummet var fint ACn lät för högt! Det fanns ingen extra service på hotellet som tex en bar,men personalen var trevlig och det fanns många mat ställen i närheten, även nära till stranden! Städningen var så där ,fick säga till om toa papper och muggar ett par gånger men kan ändå rekomendera hotellet

Me encanto el Hotel, muy limpio...el personal es muy pero muy amable. De verdad me senti comoda, en confianza...Volveria alli. Ademas la ubicacion es excelente!
