Orlando Hotel & Suites - Orlando

We stayed in the hotel only the necessary time to bathe and sleep. Service and location were good. For the price I would stay again.

This hotel was great. Comfortable bed, clean room, safe parking lot & the hotel staff that I dealt with were great... it was everything I expected. I will definitely be staying here again. On a side note, the breakfast buffet was a basic buffet, nothing special or amazing, but decent food.

Workout room is a disaster. Breakfast option is overpriced, particularly for such low quality food offerings. Room staff is very good and very service oriented. The concierge during the week was very knowledgable and people friendly. Front desk staff was weak, particularly Fernando who took offense at being asked for a checkout folio and acted as if […] it was inappropriate to inquire about my credit card deposit and related transactions. Should get a partial refund. When I booked the stay it advertised "free breakfast" and even after I booked for 2 adults and 2 children, it stayed "free breakfast". when we went down for breakfast, they had given us a ticket for 2-but wanted to charge us $8/each for the buffet, which was quite lacking. Close to everything; fantastic; front desk staff cordial. OTHERWISE -- condition of hotel rooms and hallways; hallways, furniture in suites were nasty, soiled. No air in hallway , very stuffy. Aircondition unit venilation was dirty in the room; bathroom counter tops were dirty. Pool water did not look clean and a lot of wasp/hornets were visibly flying […] around. They are upgrading, so possibly when renovation is done it would be a place to stay because of location. Mehr

The rooms were clean though a bit dated. Staff was friendly and met our needs. The buffet was edible I suppose, but the only thing well appreciated was the waffle station. The safe in the room didn't function properly though.

The hotel was pretty average although the room was fine. I was amazed that the breakfast was served on polystyrene plates and we had plastic cuttlery, not even good platic ones either! The breakfast was very dissappointing and not much selection. My tip, don't bother with the breakfast!

Air not working but, they gave me a new one.Cabinet was damaged and the breakfast looked bad.First shift lady at the desk was polite but, night lady was not helpful.

This hotel is a pretty typical Orlando resort hotel, could use a bit of rennovation and is primarily a tourist hotel (I was in Orlando on business). It has everything you need. The first night I arrived to be told there was no room for me (night one of a two night stay). I figured something out as the options the hotel had were not really viable, nor […] did I want to see what their 'back up' hotel was. I will say the staff were amazing, genuinely sorry and they did everything they could. This hotel is in a great location. Close to lots of restaurants and theme parks. It is on a street that runs parallel with International Drive. The rooms were pretty nice but the bathrooms could use a little upgrade. Comfortable beds. All in all it was a pleasant stay and I would stay there again.

ThishHotel is excellent to go to for vacation and all other purposes in Orlando. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The location is very accessible and perfect -- it's almost right off I-4 (and so, it's very easy to go to Disney World and Universal) and just a block away from Wet N' Wild, and all the other tourist areas and restaurants in […] downtown Orlando. This hotel was very reasonably priced. A perfect location at the last minute. All of the staff were extremely helpful.

my family and i recently stayed at this hotel and it was very nice. we visited seaworld while there and i loved that they had a charter bus to take/pick us up. we walked along international drive to find a variety of places to eat it was a very nice experience for my 2 young sons.

Exceeded our expectations and the reprensentations.

The Hotel was close to everything. You can walk to restaurants. I was able to sleep at night. Not like different hotels were noises coming from all over. This hotel is on my top list.

We needed a hotel for 1 night, right before the Global Pet Expo. We reasonably priced, so reasonable I was nervous about the conditions of the hotel, however was wonderfully surprised. Hotel was clean, close to convention center and we got a free breaksfast. Perfect for what we needed...and it again was clean...beds, bathrooms and dust free. I booked this hotel because of its proximity to major attractions in Orlando. It is close to Interstate 4 and International Drive. The staff was nice and very helpful during my stay in the hotel. Unless location is your only criteria, don't stay at this hotel. It is near Universal, Disney, and only 20 minutes from the airport.However,the first room we were given was a smoking room in a smoking floor, when we specifically requested a non- smoking room.Moreover, they wouldn't change our room until the next day. Furthermore, this same room had […] a refrigerator that didn't work, and that was the only thing that made it even close to being a suite, as it was basically a room with 2 beds and refrigerator and small microwave. The next night we had a room that didn't even have a phone that worked, so we couldn't even call the lobby to get a wake-up call. It also had a door that wouldn't completely lock. Maid service was adequate. but there was mold around the air conditioning unit.

Our stay at the Orlando was comfortable. The breakfast buffet could do with a little upgrade. The staff overall however was really helpful and courteous. Thank you for making our stay at your hotel comfortable. :)

Good location off I Drive, great for Universal. Hotel is being remodelled and we had to ask to be moved to another room as the first had a bad AC smell and was damp. The second was much better - comfortable beds and a very good size. Decor is typical of Fla and a bit predictable but overall a good value hotel. Staff was not very knowledgeable. We brought our own car, and had no place to park because the parking lot was so small. Guests were parked on the grass. We had 5 people in a room, but they only left towels for 3, we requested more and they supplied a bath mat. There was no information in the rooms concerning tourist information (shopping, places of […] worship, attractions). Perhaps the most annoying thing was that the staff used the front en trace as their smoking area. There was constantly a group surrounded in smoke and staring at guests. Very uncomfortable..and smelly. On a positive note, the hotel is very close to restaurants, stores, and Disney. Mehr

i have stayed at Choice Hotel properties that were a lot cheaper and more recently updated than this property. but the breakfast buffet was very good, and the staff were polite.

The room was clean and staff friendly. Close to universal and some good restaurants. I will be staying again.

I did like the mattress, tv was not a flat screen And In spite of the advertising, we do not have internet wireless in the room. To much money for that room. I was clean and in a good neighboard, thats it

The check-in person was not overly friendly at all. In fact, during my check-in process she took a phone call from a guest and proceeded to argue with him about why he did not have towels in his room. NOT a very good first impression at all for a first time guest. Then she tells me as I am signing the form that there are only 2 rooms left in the whole […] hotel so we have been put in a SMOKING room. We do NOT smoke and had specifically indicated that we wanted a NON-SMOKING room. However, it was not really an issue. The room was clean and quite comfortable. Just another tip - if you want to sleep in, make sure to put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door so that they won't knock on your door before you are ready to get up. Mehr

Pros-Good location Cons- No wireless internet in room and breakfast was ok. I would not rate this a three star hotel. It is a 2.5 star like place to stay.

The water pool was not in a good location. There were not spot to park the car. ( parking lot too small). No plastic bag in the trash can on the bedroom. Some of this feedback can be improved. The promotion with a free breakfast for 2 was good. I still recomend the hotel to a friend spend a night.

The suites are wonderful... fully equiped and comfortable... Rate was pretty good as well!! great deal for families... Breakfast buffet can use a bit of variations but everything else was great... friendly front desk!!

It good for the money. The A/C was loud and they did not turn on the A/C in the hallways. The breakfast was excellent. Overall a nice stay.

I recently stayed at the Orlando Hotel & Suites, which was formerly a Holiday INN. Overall the rooms were very comfortable, however if your there on business I wouldn't recommend staying. For the week I was there I had basically no wireless connection, and the front desk wasn't very accommodating. However if your there on Vacation and not business I […] would recommend to stay. Mehr

The hotel it self used to be a Holiday inn, but it does need some work to bring it up to par. The Staff is very nice and pleasant. Would go again for business but not for Recreation. Breakfast in the morning was a plus.

I was pleasantly surprised. Very clean room, very comfy bed, 25 min walk from the convention center, but there was also a shuttle (not provided by the hotel). Great value for money. I will book this hotel again for the next convention.

The hotel was almost empty when we stayed, but the staff were friendly and helpful and everything was as we wished. Clean and quiet room with plenty of space, microwave and fridge.
