Herrliches Hotel mit großen Zimmern, Balkon mit Blick auf den Jachthafen oder die Bay , Kühlschrank und warmen Frühstück in fantastischer Umgebung auf Shelter Island . Waren hier bereits zum 3. Mal. Parken derzeit nur $ 5 . Sehr freundliches Personal .

Dieses hotel ist sicherlich keine Topadresse, allerdings kriegt man für das Geld ein stets sauberes und sehr geräumiges Zimmer in einer gut geführen Anlage. Das Personal war stets nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Ein Zustellbett zu bekommen war absolut kein Problem, auch wenn das Bett selbst eher mäßig war. Das Frühstück ist ganz gut, wenn auch hier nichts besonderes zu sehen gibt und man nur mit dem üblichen US-Standart rechnen kann. Nachts ist es wegen des nahegelegenen Highways etwas laut, aber mich hat es weniger als das Schnarchen meiner Zimmermitbewohner gestört.

In der Nähe dreht sich im Museum of Making Music alles um amerikanische Kompositionen und Instrumente. Im Norden wiederum liegt Oceanside in der Mitte zwischen Los Angeles und San Diego. Dieser Strandort ist bekannt für seinen Landungssteg, der mit fast 600 Meter Länge der längste Holzlandungssteg an der Westküste ist. In der Nähe befindet sich auch der Legoland-Themenpark.

Nice hotel & room, but smelly bathroom. Worse mold in shower & shower head that I have ever seen.

Came for a quick getaway over Spring Break with my husband & son. Stayed in an ocean view room with a great view of the beach. Room was large and very clean. Balcony was also large with a lounge chair & small table. Perfect! The hotel location was close to anything you might need. "BEST WESTERN ENCINITAS INN"
I took my family to Lego land and it was a perfect location 5.8 miles away, right off the freeway. The complimentary breakfast each morning was perfect for feeding six kids, saved money their before Lego land. Very clean and roomy.

I knew the hotel was not right in the town of Encinitas when I booked it, but the reviews said it was an easy walk and they were right. The town itself is charming and a great place to spend time, so we didn't mind the 10 minute walk (literally) down the hill each day to get there. If you have […] kids and lots of gear, though, you would probably want to drive and park in the free lot above Moonlight Beach; or visit any of the other great beaches along the coast - there are a lot of choices. We didn't used the pool but other families were and it seemed fine. The hotel itself isn't fancy but the rooms are clean and spacious, very modern, nicely decorated, with great beds! We were on the third floor and had a nice private balcony from which you could see the ocean and town (and the freeway) in the distance. It's not a romantic view but meets the criteria if you want to wake up and be reminded you are on the coast. The complimentary breakfast is great and served poolside. A Japanese restaurant is on the property, we didn't eat there but it looked interesting and has a great view. It shares some of the hotel parking spaces which is a little confusing at first, you definitely need the hotel parking pass, parking is at a premium. LOTS of great restaurants are right in town, you could spend a week there trying a new place every day. Swamis is not to be missed for breakfast. The train station is right across the street which would be fun to take to Del Mar or San Diego. My husband and I were only there for 2 nights so there wasn't time for that. It's an easy drive to Del Mar, which we did do and spent the day at the Races. One downside to the hotel location is that the trains blow their horn every time they pass through town. It's kind of unavoidable in North County on the coast. This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many food establishments, amenities, etc. The view from our room was fabulous- the bed and kitchenette were devine. Having a suite is a major plus for a refrigerator and stove. I will definitely stay here in the future!
