Embassy Suites Hotel Nashville at Vanderbilt - Nashville

We chose the hotel based upon it's affiliation with the Nashville Film Festival and were thrilled with the service. We utilized the complimentary shuttle for short trips to the Hillsboro area and also to downtown. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and bars, not to mention we saw Ben Folds crossing the street from our room (!!!). The front […] desk staff was incredibly helpful and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. The only negative was that there was no free wi-fi. Other than that, the Embassy Suites was fantastic! While the rooms were not luxurious, they were acceptable and well equipped with frig and coffee maker, desk with outlets, access to internet, etc. The lobby area is updated and great for hosting guests. However, the helpfulness of the staff - from the valet team to front desk and even the engineers and restaurant staff - was exceptional, making this […] a great place to stay and feel welcome. Every effort was made to accommodate any requests and to assist guests, making this a pleasant stay. Since my visit was for business, it was important to be able to have immediate assistance when needed from transportation to information, and the staff stood out for this. We asked for non-smoking, got our key, and you coudl smell the cigarette smoke in the hallway it was so bad. I called the desk and told them but they said they were booked up and there was a flood, but to come down and get a different key. (Not sure if that's true - I used to work for hotels and we would come up with stuff when we overbooked...) Anyway, […] the second room was still a smoking room, but more tolerable, so I didn't complain. However, the creamers in the room were all rotten, we looked behind the mattress and under the bedboard and it was filthy down there. The hall light was out in our room, too. I left 5 bucks and a nice note for housekeeping the next day and all of it was fixed except the light. Great location - just be aware you could get a smoking room... if that doesn't bother you, you will love it here! Amazing breakfast, wonderful staff! Mehr

For the money we spent on this hotel we were surprised to come back to find our room still not cleaned at 4pm. We had a feeling that as soon as we hopped into the shower to get ready for the evening festivities the housecleaning staff would come, and they did! At 5:30pm we got a knock on our door. We were just a little disappointed by the service, too. […] There was only one person at the front desk, so we had to wait on hold for minutes to ask simple questions. We would have googled our questions, but we didn't want to pay for wifi (annoying!) Lastly, the elevator was slllooooowwwww. With such a big hotel you'd think there would be more stairwells taking you to the first floor (not into the kitchen on the first floor), or faster/more elevators. We were comfortable, but I doubt we'd stay here again. Mehr

This hotel was in a spectacular location, with a very friendly staff and the valet parking was very prompt. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is near main attractions and minutes from reastaurants. The area felt safe and very clean. We are planning on a second trip there very soon.

the stay was nice and I met someone for a morning meeting. Was convenient.. facilities are nice. breakfast was ok.

The hotel itself was nice and clean. The beds seemed a bit small. I Have to say it was the worst breakfast experience I ever experienced. The cook was not personable and his cooking skills left a lot to be desired.

We had a fabulous time staying at the Embassey Suites. Friendly staff and a perfecrtly timed Happy Hour. Although the red wine tasted like recycled mouthwash, the Coorses were cold and the snacks delightful. The breaky was especially scrumptious and we must've eaten enough for a family of four, both days. I highly recommend the hotel; most convenient […] and comfortable. Perhaps add a sign in the business office to limit the internet use. We saw a couple of people's moms in there for several hours. Mehr

Great place to stay in Nashville. Minutes from dowtown. Parking garage attached to the hotel is great if you want to come and go alot. I love staying at Embassy Suites around the country and this one rates as high as any that I have stayed in.

The hotel did not offer a daily paper for free or purchase. Closest location was a gas station down the street.

Nice hotel. Easy access to I-65, and convenient to downtown Nashville. Breakfast buffet was great, as was nightly manager's reception. All nice touches. Nightly parking charges may apply, which adds to overall cost. Hotel shuttle is available for getting to/from major attractions. Very professional and courteous staff.

As a woman alone on a business trip I felt completely safe and comfortable here. The staff were all very friendly. I would stay her again.

I really liked this hotel. The breakfast that is included is fantastic. Hot items such as pancakes, omlettes, etc. Lots to choose from. Room set up is great and beds very comfortable. Near Vanderbilt U which is why we were there. Free shuttle to downtown.

This is a great bargain! We stayed while visiting a child who attends Vanderbilt Medical School. It's a great location with some restaurants within walking distance and is close to the school.The Omaha Steakhouse, within the hotel, has great food and good service. The hotel also offered a good, hot breakfast and free happy hour with a full bar. The […] fitness center is clean and modern and includes a whirlpool and sauna. The beds were very comfortable. It took me a week to find a smoking hotel suite. I found the Embassy suite which close to everything that I want. I called the hotel 3 different times to ensured our " SMOKING" suite was available, and was told not o worried. I was throwing a bacherorett party and my guesses smoke. I had to asked them to go outside in a 98 degrees with heat index of […] 102. It was one of the hottest day in September in Nashville, Tn. The hotel did give us 2 free parkings but we still did not get the suite that I had booked. I know it's not a big deal for non-smokers. But the hotel did offer it on line, 2 rooms, 2 beds- smoking . nice would stay again if in nashville

Everything is proper. Not a luxurious hotel, but it is of very respectful quality on everything, from bedding, bathroom to furniture. The family suite we had was very comfortable. It would make a great stay for a business trip as well. The breakfast, which is included, is great as well. Again, nothign exotic like you might expect in a five-star hotel, […] but is very good quality food and just so practical. The parking was fairly convenient, although driving up and down requires very careful driving through narrow and uneven passages and slopes, and the walk from the garage to the hotel is a little bit too "informal" requiring passing through several areas and doors which felt quite unimpressive. Overall, highly recommended for a good quality (much much better than a motel of course) and practical hotel. A solid ***+ hotel. Mehr

We enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites Nashville. Hotel staff was very courteous. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Very convenient to Vanderbilt, West End shops, Music Row and Honky Tonks. Used Internet connection in business room but would have preferred free Internet connection in room.

Big Rooms, comfy bed, clean, great breakfast & happy hour! Free Shuttle to downtown!

Were on a college visits road trip and the Embassy Suites was nice because we put two adults, two travelling teens in one suite. Sofa bed was not great, but worked and suite style offered some privacy without paying for a second room. Free shuttle to neaby sights and restaurants nice. Very close to Vanderbilt.

The parking Garage is very hard to get in to and parking spots were very very small.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast buffet - which saves you food $. Their advertised shuttle service was very busy and often not available for us - this service was an important reason we chose this hotel - so it turned out not very convenience for us. No in-room movies.

This is a nice hotel, but its about 1.5 miles from downtown. If you need to do business down town you will need a cab.

Booked Embassy Suites several months ahead as Nashville fills up over the CMA festival. We wanted a decent double room and a seperate living room with a bed settee and this fitted the bill. Read a few reviews that suggested staff were not great which concerned us a little before we arrived - well not the case during our visit! Staff from check in to […] breakfast staff to room cleaners through to restaurant were all lovely and very helpful - and this during what must be one of their busiest weeks of the year. They really bent over backwards to hyelp all of their guests and were all very friendly and cheerful. Room was nice, breakfast was good, happy hour was fun and an excellent courtesy bus service to and from downtown every 15 minutes. Restaurant food is modest, ( nice salads )reasonably priced and perfectly good for a quiet evening in. Would definitely choose to stay here again. Mehr

This property was all we'd expected for an Embassy Suites. Clean, nice property with a good breakfast.

Great location. Very good complimentary breakfast. Pancakes would have made it great. Complimentary shuttle to the arena/downtown area. Lots of places to dine close by. Easy access to Interstates 65, 40 and 24.

Check in was fast and easy. Ryan at the front desk was very helpful with local dinner suggestions. The shuttle service was great. Breakfast was very good, and we loved the cocktails in the evening. Very clean and welcoming interior. Would stay here again if in the area.

Hotel well situated near most tourist areas and universities. Also close to restaurants, shops, nice area to walk through. Hotel offered great breakfast although I would have liked a later end time on weekdays. Would stay here again.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was! I have never stayed in an Embassy Suites and I actually enjoyed it more than expected. There was so much space and the breakfast was quite nice. I was not crazy about the Omaha restaurant as the only option for lunch and dinner. While the restaurant is very good the menu was not basic enough for room service […] and was not available for late dining. Overall I would recommend this hotel. Mehr
