Der Aufenthalt war äußerst angenehm. Besonders der Blick beim aufwachen aus dem 7. Stock hinunter auf Barcelona und das Meer war absolut mega.

Dieses nagelneue 4* Hotel würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen !!! Lage: ca. 10 Gehminuten zum Meer, U-Bahn-Station der Linie 4 ganz in der Nähe, gute Busverbindung und ein großes Einkaufscenter in der gleichen Strasse. Zimmer: Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und haben gute Betten. Safe und Kühlschrank sind im Zimmer ist vorhanden. Bad: sehr schönes Bad mit toller Regendusche. Am Dach (8.Stockwerk) sind ein Pool und Sonnenliegen vorhanden. Das Personal ist auch sehr nett. Dieses Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen.

Parallel liegt in Barcelona, Sants-Montjuïc, in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Sant Pau del Camp, Montjuic und Gran Teatre del Liceu. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe gehören: Las Ramblas und Castell de Montjuic.
Ausstattung
Ein kostenloser Highspeed-Internetzugang (W-LAN und Kabel) steht in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Außerdem ist ein Internet-Terminal vor Ort vorhanden. Der fruchtbare Berg Montjuïc ist schon seit langem ein Ort der Erholung und erlangte während der Olympischen Spiele 1992 weltweite Berühmtheit. "Das Hotel liegt in sehr günstiger Lage."
Vom Hotel kann man überall zu Fuß erreichen und in der nähe sehr günstig aber gut was kaufen oder leichtes essen und trinken. Wo ich jeden Tag eine Tasse Espresso und Croissant genommen habe, hat es nur 1,60 EUR gekostet ! Es gibt auch verschiedene Supermarkte oder Obst-Gemüse Geschäfte usw. Zum Hauptstraße "La Rambla" oder zum Hafen kann man zu Fuß […] nur 5 Min. zu erreichen. Das Hotel finde ich sehr gut, ganz liebe Leute beim Personal, das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Wenn man das Problem hat, sie sind auch sehr hilfreich. Das ist ziemlich laute Umgebung (Zentrum!), aber wenn man das Fenster zumacht, kann man gar nichts mehr hören und kann man sehr gut schlafen. Wenn ich wieder in Barcelona besuchen würde, sehr wahrscheinlich werde ich wieder hier wohnen. Mehr

"einfaches, aber ansprechendes Hotel"
Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Olympischen Stadions, Plaza España. Ramblas in Laufnähe, aber auch einfach mit Metro zu erreichen. Hotel einfach, aber sauber und im guten Zustand. Kostenfreier Internetzugang.
"Man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen"
Hotel ist für ein ** Typ empfehlenswert. Zimmer zum Hinterhof sind ruhig, Straßenseite lauter. Portier steht bei der Tür und ist nicht behilflich wenn mann mit dem Gepäck kommt. Ansonsten ist das Hotel für einen Stadtbesuch zu empfehlen, da 2 U-bahnlinien und mehrere Autobuslinien praktisch vor der Tür sind.

Lage nicht schlecht! 2 Minuten (zu Fuss) von der Metro und ca. 10 Minuten (zu Fuss) vom Zentrum.

die nächste Metro-Station ist ganz nahe. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und dürfte vor nicht so langer Zeit erst renoviert worden sein. Ich würde wieder dort nächtigen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist ziemlich zentral, man kann mit der Metro oder zu Fuss schnell zum zentrum gelangen. Das Personal ist äuserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein aber zweckmässig. Einziger Negativpunkt, meiner Meinung nach, ist dass man vom Zimmer aus jeden auf dem Gang hört. "Great Service, But the Noise!"
Hotel receptionists were very helpful and professional. The location could not have been better for a tourist visit. The walls are paper-thin and guests can hear every footstep outside their walls, as well as neighborhood noise.

"cebtrally located"
The hotel is Perfect, if you just need a place to sleep or eat breakfast. Clean, safe and Perfect if you need to take a taxi, metro, bus or walk close to the area. I really enjoyed the hotel and I totally recommend it.

"Hotel Parallel-good location in Barcelona"
Good location. A good deal for the price. The beds are not comfortable, however I suppose that is the standard for European hotels. This hotel was better than I expected for a 2 star hotel.

The hotel was extremely noisy with doors slamming and outside noise all hours of the night. Avoid the Santander ATM machine below. Crooks are watching to rob you. I saw it first hand. The staff Is helpful but if you want A decent night sleep avoid the room next to the exit door and elevator areas. Also need metro to get to plaza espana and plaza […] catalunya. We stayed at this hotel for one week. That was much too long. For a night I could over look the condition and noise, but no longer. It was very run down the bathroom made me want to close my eyes and look away. The room was the size of a postage stamp. There wasn't even enough room for our tiny travel cot. Just minutes to subway and Las Ramblas. Wi-fi in rooms except during our stay thoere was a problem for the first 2 days. We used the business center in a sister hotel until problem was resolved. Management was very understanding Very good and reasonable restaraunt, Olivetta, near hotel..

This hotel is conveniently located on one of the busiest roads in Barcelona, within a 3 minute walk to the closest train station, and within a 15-20 minute walk to Las Ramblas. This was my second stay in the hotel, and I was as happy with my stay this time, as I was the first. The hotel is near the area of Montjuic, and is on the "green" line which […] is the same as Sants, and more importantly for me - Maria Cristina and Les Corts - which is where the Nou Camp is located. "Good alternative to hostels"
Hotel Parallel is friendly, clean, and affordable. We found it to be roughly the same price as a hostel in Barcelona, with more privacy and daily room cleaning. The beds were not extremely comfortable but did the job. Our room had a TV, safe, decent closet space, a fair-sized bathroom, and multiple power outlets. It is slightly annoying that the room […] only has power when you are there (the room key goes into a slot to activate electricity), which means you can't charge a laptop or cell phone while you are gone. The walls are also a bit thin, so we sometimes heard people yelling either on the street outside or in the hallway near the elevator. The desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and there was always at least one person who spoke English fluently. WiFi access is free, though a bit slow. There is one computer in the lobby as well. Beware the continental breakfast -- we thought it was free at first, then later learned it was 9.5 Euros per person. You can spend much, much less on breakfast at one of the cafes on Parallel Avenue. Mehr

We have stayed 3 nights at this hotel with a small kid and a dog. We liked the location very much as the centre is ina walkable distance or if you are tired and/ or in a hurry taxi to la Rambla would cost you about 5 Euros. Hotel got evrything you need to sleep and have a place to drop your things, but do not expect any luxury, just good quality for […] the money you pay for the room. The only thing should be mentioned that you really might hear lot's of noise if you are unlucky and got noisy neighbours. Would definately stay again if travel to Barcelona Mehr

Hotel Parallel was a great place to stay! The lobby and rooms were very clean and nicely furnished. Our room was much bigger than other hotels in Europe. It was also close to the Parallel metro stop and only a short walk to La Rambla. I certainly would stay here again!

Fairly cheap for Barcelona standards in terms of price, definitely no frills but the neighborhood was safe enough and a great location. Easy walking distance to Las Ramblas, El Barrio Gothic, El Diagonal, and all the Gaudi Buildings. A bit further walk to the beach and the marina, but public transport is literally right outside the door so it is very […] simple and easy to get around from this hotel. For the price paid, very reasonable accomodations, though bring a hair dryer and an iron if you should need one! They do have them, but are usually in use and hard to get a hold of! "Decent hotel at a reasonable price"
Aside from the twin beds--apparently all the rooms have twin beds, and ours were rather hard and not very comfy--it was great. We wanted a base to explore the city and this was a good spot, with easy access to the subway, La Rambla, the gothic quarter and etc.
