K+K Hotel am Harras - München

We had two nights at the Hotel K&K. The air conditioning was broken the first night, which made it a little uncomfortable. It was fixed the next day, although it still wasn't that cool. We ate at a little restaurant on the same street which also sold gelato - the gelato was delicious. There was also a McDonald's on the street. We had our breakfast there, because we didn't want a full breakfast. I appreciated the free use of computers on the lobby level and the complementary coffee and tea there as well. They offer a variety of newspapers also. On the whole, this was a very good hotel, excellent service. We are just used to places located in a warm climate having more air conditioning. Mehr

This business hotel is located in Sendling, near West Park, on the south side of town, six Metro Stops from Marienplatz, the town center. We initially thought it was too far from the city highlights but would go back because of the quieter, convenient neighborhood & the good value. Parking was 15 Euro per day. I enjoyed my stay at the K&K. The room was a little small but it really didn't matter because I was by myself. I found myself hitting the walls at night because of the twin bed. I opened my window in room 518 and realized that there were huge spiders outside of the window so I closed it. I checked in on 25-11-2009 and the weather was pretty mild (52 […] degrees). I tried to turn on the air to get it moving around, but nothing really happened. Breakfast was a little to expensive $15/euro, so I decided to eat McDonald's which is 2/minutes away if you walk. The U-6 is right there so 7 minutes you are at the city center and having a crap load of fun. Mehr

The hotel was much nicer than we had anticipated. We stayed in a double room and had plenty of space to move around. The complimentary internet was nice and the shower felt like those in the states. We didn't notice much to do around the hotel, but it is about a 1 minute walk to the Harras Metro stop which means only a few minute ride to the center […] of the city. We did not opt for the breakfast with the room. On-site it costs something like 20 euro's (it was a Sunday, so maybe it was supposed to be a brunch.) Either way, it was not worth it at all. WHAT A NICE SURPRISE. AFTER STAYING IN HOTELS IN LONDON AND PARIS THIS WAS THE BEST OF THE THREE AND FOR THE BEST PRICE. I THOUGHT I WAS BACK IN THE USA.

Pleasant enough, not really the right location for where I was working. Staff nice: friendly and helpful. Breakfast standard German continental buffet - ok. Free internet and worked perfectly which is good. Think they do room service until 11pm which is better than most in this price in Munich. Arrived late and left early so not able to evaluate all […] facilities but it was fine for the one night I was there. Very impressive hotel. Great service, rooms were very clean and comfortable. The shower was great. Easy walk to Oktoberfest, one block from the Harras station. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel - very close to public transportation! Staff very helpful - booking tours, suggesting restaurants, answering questions.

Hotel is quite comfortable and located extremely close to subway and train services. It is only a few stops from the city and an easy transfer from the rail station. Staff are warm and friendly. Free high speed internet ( two computers and free coffee ) Good place to stay.

We were very satisfied with the hotel. GThe staff was very friendly and helpful. It is very close to the U Bahn, and only about a block from the s bahn stops, which only makes about a 10 min ride to down town. The only the hotel restaurant was too much $$$ and the choices of places to eat close by were very few, but with downtown not too far by rail […] it was not bad. We would absolutely stay there again. Hotel was clean, quiet, staff friendly, location perfect, away from tourist, across the street from Metro so only a short train ride to anywhere. Loved it!

based on the comments, i expected a much smaller room. i felt it to be quit spacious for an european hotel, and especially for the price. it's right on the subway line, so even though its not right in the center - it's still pretty convenient if you don't mind walking and/or public transit. although the surrounding neighborhood is quiet, so if you prefer […] more action it might not be fore you. the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful as well. i will definitely stay here again next time i'm in munich. Hotel room was clean and staff was very helpful. The room was a bit small and there is not a lot within walking distance. Though a bus stop nearby can get you where you want to go.

This hotel is very functional, simple, not overly roomy. Price is reasonable and it is in a typical german neighborhood, away from downtown hustle. Skip the overpriced buffet and hit one of the cafes in the immediate area. Good access to train, easy shot downtown or other areas.

K and K is a great European chain. The K and K Munich was located a short U-bahn or S-bahn trip away from the city center. It was in a safe area, convenient, and clean. It provides everything one would need as a traveler, including free wi-fi and a computer one can use.... The desk staff were helpful, and the breakfast was very good. Try the mustard! We had 2 stays at this hotel in a 1 week period. Small room for 3 people, large bathroom. Shower only had door on half of tub, making keeping the bathroom dry difficult. Good A/C in the first room (3 nights), A/C non-functional in second room (1 night). Very convenient to U-bahn (subway). Would stay there again.

I stayed in the hotel from 30th June to 5th July 2009. In room 205 an excellent big room to the back of the hotel. I found the room excellent. All staff were mannerly, helpful and very efficient. This hotel excelled in every area. All members of staff were friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. The four of us who stayed there were made to feel very special and important. The room was great for the money we paid and very clean. The bathroom was new and very clean and had all the amenities. The staff spoken English and helped us find where we wanted to go. I would recommend it to anyone. The only drawback was lack of space, but we didn't spend much time there so it didn't matter.

Would stay there again when I travel to Munich. Close to underground.Close to MacD. Very impressed with the customer service.

Average hotel with the typical small room and small bath but a good deal for the price. Not in the best of neighborhoods but one block from the Harras rail stop - very easy to get to from the main Munich rail station or old town area. If you are going to or coming from the main train station, use the BOB regional train vs the underground subway to avoid […] stairs at the main station. I had booked into another hotel for the same money, without checking the reviews on tripadvisor.com. The reviews were frightening to say the least. I was able to cancel and plumped for the K&K on the basis of its high rating. I'm sure you could get a better hotel than the K&K but not for the money. I would recommend it to anyone except those who want […] real decadence. Only 7 and a half minutes on the U Bahn to Marienplatz. Great! Mehr

This hotel is only a 5 minute subway ride from the city center and lets you off in front of the hotel, couldn't be more convienient. With the windows closed and AC on it's truly quiet. Plus you are in a very nice neighborhood away from the touristy stuff. The beds are new and the best we've ever had in a hotel. A+

The location is good because of the very easy to use transportation system and the stop is right out the front door of the hotel. Nice neighborhood that made us feel safe. The front desk agents were efficient and spoke English.

價格不高，服務品質不錯，而且網路是免費使用。雖然位置離市中心稍遠，有點偏僻，但是離U-Bahn Am Harras只有5分鐘的路程，是可以接受的。

Ottimo albergo sia per la posizione che per la pulizia e comodità delle camere. Connessione wifi gratis. Consigliatissimo

Tysta rum om man bor mot gården. Rum mot gatan/torget avsevärt högre ljudnivå. AC anläggningen inte av högsta kvalitet. Frukost hygglig men snålt med bl a bröd. Ett glas Sekt till frukost - vilken start på dagen! Nära till S o U bahn satationer - snabbt inne i centrum.

Used the hotel one night when on business in Munich. Close to S- and U-Bahn, very frienly and efficient check-in and -out, nice, ouiet and clean room to courtyard, Will stay there next time too.

Отличный отель за такие деньги. Расположен в 1 мин. от метро (5 станций до центра), хороший район. Персонал приветливый, номера убирали оч. хорошо. Несколько кафешек, в т.ч. максдональдс в 1 минуте от отетеля. Лучшее кафе - напротив отеля, по другую сторону дороги, чуть правее. Итальянское кафе - дешево и очень вкусно. Понравилась звукоизоляция номера […] - не слышно ни соседей, ни улицы, хотя окна выходили именно на улице. Большой недостаток - очень душно в номере, система центрального кондиционирования работает очень плохо. Ставил кондиционер на минимум температуры и максимум обдува - не помогало. При температуре на улице 20 было очень душно. Система дует в противоположную стену, в сторону от кровати. Летом будет очень жарко. Но тихо и чисто. Mehr

l'albergo rispecchia precisamente la descrizione riportata sul sito. Camera accogliente e pulita. servizio di pulizia e redemption efficiente. Collocazione albergo comodissima a pochi metri da fermata metropolitana. Unico problema costo breakfast troppo alto.

Albergo eccelente e personale super cordiale. Il pacheggio è un pò caro ma in media con il resto del paese 15 euro al giorno (anche per le moto). Le camere sono perfettamente allineate al livello dell'albergo (molto belle), il bagno è perfetto. Noi erevamo all'ultimo piano ma l'albergo si trova in una strada molto trafficata e quindi rumorosa. Non avevamo […] la colazione inclusa e quindio abbiamo preferito la classica colazione all'italiana (capuccino e cornetto) al bar di fronte all'albergo naturalmente Italiano. Mehr

I enjoyed very much my staying at the K&K am harras. The hotel is right next to the subway. Very friendly stuff, always eager to help and inform. Would stay there again.

Il servizio ottimo, la struttura sembra nuova ed ottima, i servizi per esempio internet oltre che gratuito anche veloce, la tv satellitare, ho avuto un po' di problema di segnale, la camera sempre in ordine e pulita, l'unica cosa che il servizio iniziava ad arrivare al mattino presto, ottimo albergo
