Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel war sauber und man konnte super mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (72 h Bus-Bahn und Metro-Pass) in die Stadt fahren. Gleich 2 Haltestellen weiter war ein nettes Frühstückscafe "Bagels & Beans", wo man günstig und gut essen konnte. Wir haben das Hotel gleich Freunden weiterempfohlen. Der Service war auch gut. + 25 minuten zu Fuß von der Innenstadt und Bahnhof , schneller mit Bus. Der Weg führt duch Wohngebiet, Park und dann durch belebte Ess- und Einkaufsmeile. + Sehr stylische große Zimmer + Wer es mag, gläsernes Badezimmer ;-), aber Toilette zum Grlück im Extraraum + Für den Preis sehr sehr gut + Fahrrad oder Moped kann direkt im Hotel ausgeliehen werden - […] Die "Kuschelcouch" flecking. Das ist aber sicherlich den Hotelgästen zu verdanken. - Frühstuck zu teuer. ABER 5 Fußmarschminuten entfernt vom Hotel ist ein Bagelkaffee (in der Spaarndammerstraat), dort ist es sehr nett und Frühstuck für 2 Personsen ~ 15€ insgesamt mit allem Drum und dann - Parkplatz auch sehr teuer, aber man sollte eh nicht mit Auto nach Amsterdam fahren Mehr

Super Hotel in Amsterdam, mit 2 Buslinien in 10 Min vom Hauptbahnhof zu erreichen. Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer aussergewoehnlich groß und sehr komfortabel. Das Hotel hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen, absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Super Hotel, 12 min. zum Hauptbahnhof, 30 min. zum Flughafen. Nicht gerade mitten im Geschehen gelegen, aber gut mit Bussen und Nachtbussen zu erreichen, Haltestelle dirket vorm Hotel. Frühstück für Urlauber eher teuer (17 EUR), günstiger kann man in eniem Café in der Stadt frühstücken.

Das Hotel war super, sehr sauber und gepflegt, super Service, gute Lage!!! Einfach zum weiterempfehlen!!!!

Das Hotel hat unsere Vorstellungen sehr entsprochen. Es war sehr ruhig. Obwohl es ca. 10 Busminuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt ist, war es kein Problem in die Stadt zu gelangen. Die Busse fahren 5-8 mal pro Stunde direkt vor dem Hotel. Das Frühstücktsbuffet ist nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen. Es hatte zwar alles, aber das Ambient war nicht so schön. Sehr sauber und ruhig. Einzig neagtiver Punkt: Hatten Nichtraucherzimmer bestellt, waren aber in Raucherzimmer. Sonst sehr empfehlenswert.

Great contemporary hotel!! A little outside of REDLIGHT district but just a bus ride there. Loved the layout of the room !!

Taking the bus to get in and out of Amsterdam was not cool.

This hotel was a great price from hotels.com and a short bus ride from the central station (downtown) every morning. During the weekdays, the bus comes every 5-10 minutes so it was never a long wait - the bus ride is 10-15 minutes at most and you get to see the beautiful city of Amsterdam. The room is very large - American hotel sized - not cramped […] at all. We had a large sofa that accommodated an extra guest and the two twin beds (pushed together for king) were pretty good - a little soft for my taste. Plenty of room to move around and very clean and modern bathrooms as well. Service was great and a pleasure - i will stay there again if I got to Amsterdam! Mehr

Overall this was a clean, modern hotel with friendly staff. I would not hesitate to recommend to couples or those visiting on business. I am writing this review however as a caution for those traveling with friends. I visited with a friend and booked a twin room. It turns out that a twin bed in this hotel is a double base with 2 single mattresses side […] to side - essentially a double bed with individual duvets. Whilst this may be fine for some my friend and I weren't hugely impressed. We ended up making a 'pillow barrier' between us! The other issue is the bathroom which is a glass cubicle - frosted partially on one side but due to mirror placement and lack of frosting on other sides you can easily be seen by room mate in shower or bath. The toilet is separate but does not contain a hand basin which is not overly hygienic. We ended up often using the hotel toilets on ground floor. None of these problems were disastrous for us but they did effect our enjoyment and relaxation somewhat. I would not rebook if I required a twin room. Mehr

Me and my freinds stayed in this hotel for the weekend on our recent stay in amsterdam and was very pleased with it. The hotel and room was very clean and comfortable and would certainley stay here again.Great hotel.

Very clean and modern hotel. Room was lovely although toilet separate from bathroom. Hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Location ok, bus stop literally just outside the hotel but if out late and needing taxi home, 15-20 Euro. Would recommend.

The hotel is accessible by bus no 48 from the central station. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Location wise is ok, need to take bus from the central activities. Cleanliness ok, internet, even it is free, when reached from the other wing of the building is not accessible. But they provide 2 free computer in the lobby. Nice stay.

Unless you like living on a large parking outside the city, there is no interest to go there. I chose this hotel, cause it looked design and convenient according to other people rating. First of all, you have to pay 15 Eur if you want to go in the city center, or take a bus ( only one every 15 min during the weekend). Amsterdam is a really cute city, […] where it s nice to walk, and you are far from everything. you cant even really walk to the center, there is no shop or even interest in walking from the hotel to the center. you can find cheaper hotel in the center, prob less stars but I will give a try next time. Second of all, they want u to have the impression the hotel is very design,... Not really decoration is too much, they put so many elements and building looks very cold... not charming at all. It seems they have a lot of groups coming by bus... very industrial business I guess... The room was ok but bed was not good and we could hear the neighbors come back at night. Our stay in the 4 star part of this hotel was disappointing. The Air-con was ineffective, the wi-fi was incompatible with my Android phone, the TV set was very old, the room lay out was odd (the toilet was distant from the bathroom). The room seemed like it was originally designed as an office rather than a hotel room. We previously stayed in this […] hotel but in the 3 star part and this offered a much more enjoyable experience. On the positive side, the staff are very good, the parking facilities very handy and the location is a good balance between proximity to the city centre and the ring road for an easy trip out. However if you do stay there, make sure it is in the 3 star part of the hotel. Mehr

A very good value for money although the staff can improve.

Hotel was Great if you dont mind taking the Bus free wifi and computers in lobby excellent service, very helpful only down side was taking the bus to Central Station but it was nice being away from all the busy streets as well

This hotel was impressive... especially for Amsterdam. The room was large for a single and very comfortable. I travel for business and this hotel is located on the north side of the city. Underground parking for your rental car is available. Took the bus. The bus stop right in front of hotel. A quiet, clean, comfortable,with friendly helpful staff and free wi-fi,10 minutes bus ride to Central Station hotel that I will stay again when I visit Amsterdam next time.

This is our second stay in five years and we found everything excellent as before. I would recommend anyone to stay here. It is in easy reach of the centre of Amsterdam. Fifteen minutes bus ride to the centre and the bus stop is situated outside the hotel. The hotel operates a shuttle service directly from the airport. We would certainly come back  […] again. Mehr

The Art 3 and 4 are the same hotel, and I stayed in the 4 star side. Very clean and modern, with comfortable beds. Enough room for two, just be aware of the clear shower door. I thought that the cafe prices were high until about day 3, then I noticed it was fair (20 euro breakfast buffet/15euro evening entrees). Room service is not available late, and […] the terrace is so nice you wouldn't want to order in anyway. The service is unreal, they will gladly help you with anything you need! Had no problems using the free wifi, except I got hacked, but that's not their fault. I can't wait to go back! Public transportation was easy after a bit, take the 48 during the day, the 348 at night. It's a 15min ride to central station, and totally worth not having to share a bathroom in a gross hostel. There was a strike when we arrived, so we took the shared ride shuttle, which I will not do again because it's an extra 45min for a little less than a taxi. I used the IAmsterdam card as well and thought it was worth it. If you want to exchange currency at 0%, there's an office to the left of the Victoria (across from central station). Mehr

We recently stayed 5 nights at the Westcord 4* Art Hotel. Our main reason for trying this hotel was the fantastic rate we got through hotels.com and as a result, we had already accepted that there were a number of items that would not be quite to our satisfaction, such as location outside the central areas, no gym etc. So we arrived as seasoned travellers, […] having previously visited Holland and Amsterdam more times than I can remember and having previously stayed in the best hotels in Holland, such as the Amstel, Grand, Okura etc... So we were well placed to compare value for money against Hotel comfort, cleanliness and service. The good points first. 1. The hotel is clean. I also booked rooms for 6 friends on this visit. All the rooms were in good condition and very clean. 2. Room service. Although the menu is a touch limited, the food is of a high quality. We tried the burger, which was requested as medium and came cooked to perfection and very tasty. 3. TV in room - Had BBC1 & BBC2 plus a good selection of other channels. 4. A nice deep bath - Plenty of room to stretch out. 5. Bus 48 runs from just outside the hotel and takes 15 - 20 mins to Centraal stn. 6. Albert Heijn (supermarket) is a 5 minute walk away. Buy your snacks and drinks here, it will save you a fortune over minibar / hotel food rates. The bad points. 1. The bed is very soft and doubles are two twins connected - If you like a nice firm bed or rolling over to cuddle ones spouse, this is not for you. 2. Staff apathy - All the staff we dealt with were polite, but there were times in the evening where we were waiting to get in / out of the hotel and they locked the internal main entrance doors. Your room card gets you into the lobby, but you have to wait for reception to press a button and open the second set of doors. Sometimes you could be stood there for 5 minutes tapping on the window. 3. Taxis - Beware rogue operators outside the hotel. They will charge you well over the going rate. typ Mehr

This hotel did not disappoint! The customer service was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were immaculately cleaned. I felt very comfortable here and would definitely stay again. You should know it is about 10 minutes by bus into the city centre. This wasn't a huge problem but at times I did with it was closer. The only thing I could say they could […] work on was the price of the food. I felt that it was too expensive for what you got. Especially the breakfast. I would definitely skip their pricey breakfast as it doesn't really offer anything special. Just head to city centre and find a nice cafe. Otherwise it was a great place, very beautiful. I loved it! I'm really satisfied with my choice. There's not much to see or to do around the hotel, but its very easy to use public transportation which you can use in every 15 minutes, to go to the center of Amsterdam. Public transportation is also available during the night. Hotel has their own underground garage which I used. They charge a small fee for using […] it. Mehr

A little away from the main attractions, but close to the bus line. The room is very comfortable. I'll stay there again.

Very nice stay. All amenities were as expected. The Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

why do you not consider to include brakfast in your price (even a bit more expensive ) but 17 euro each!!!???

Very nice especially for the price. Location isn't great - about a 20 minute walk into the centre through a less nice bit of town. But overall very comfortable - room very spacious. Breakfast is very expensive at the hotel (17 euros when we were there). There's a bagel shop round the corner that does a nice simple breakfast for about 6 euros th […] ough. Mehr

Flott "fancy" rom. Kostet ca €13 med taxi inn til sentrum. Busser gikk relativt ofte på dagtid, rett ved hotellet, og kostet ca €3. Enkelt og greit.

Tout est ok un peu loin du centre mais un bus passe tres souvent 2 lignes 22 et 48 arret devant l'hotel et en 5 minute dans le centre. tout est payant par contre, rien de compris dans le tarif proposé Le seul petit moins est l'accueil, tout depend sur qui vous tombez soit tres gentil soit pas du tout. Mais tres bien dans l'ensemble

tres bonne hotel , tres confortable , une proximite suffisante avec le centre ni trop proche pour la tranquilite et ni trop loin pour l'acces facil, le personnel tres acceuillant et trtes present aux demandes du client.

Cette hôtel a mis un peu de gaité dans notre séjour, vu la pluie qu'il a fait chaque jour à Amsterdam... L’hôtel est propre et design, très grand. Les chambres sont magnifiques, par chance nous avons eu une chambre égale aux photos sur le site ! Belle sale de bain de verre, jolie déco ! L’hôtel a pris en compte nos demandes : chambre spacieuse et calme, […] que l'on peut inscrire dans la réservation sur hotel.com. Propreté super, chambre faite chaque jour. Bien insonorisée pour notre part ! Le petit dej : 17euros vaut la peine d'être pris au moins une fois. Sinon vous pouvez-vous faire du thé dans la chambre! Le bus 48 passe tous les quarts d'heure devant l’hôtel et met 10min jusqu'au centre d'amsterdam. Personnel accueillant (sauf une jeune femme blonde ...).Très bel hôtel, nous sommes satisfaites ! L'Hotel si trova a circa 10-15 minuti di autobus (48) dalla stazione centrale, punto di passaggio quasi obbligato per quasi tutti gli spostamenti. La stanza extra large è decisamente grande e comoda, l'unico appunto è un livello minimo di aria condizionata che è basso ma non è escludibile. Letto e cuscini sono molto morbidi, ma gradevoli. Bello ma la pulizia della camera lascia a desiderare.Occhio se siete fumatori,specificate di volere una camera fumatori,a noi è stato richiesto di pagare una penale di 150€ per aver fumato in camera,ATTENTI!!!

Bel hôtel trois étoiles, nous avons apprécié son confort et surtout le personnel très serviable. Nous pensions que cela aurait été un peu trop prout prout, mais pas du tout. Le restaurant de l'hôtel était très convivial et à la fois il y avait des petits coins sympas pour se reposer. La chambre était très propre, le lit fait tous les jours, mais le […] petit déjeuner un peu cher (20€ pp) bien que copieux. La piscine est très belle. Rekommenderar verkligen detta hotell. Det var hur fint och fräscht som helst. Det finaste jag någonsin bott på och då har jag prövat en hel del även 5 stjärniga hotell. Det låg en bit utanför centrum men bussen stannade precis utanför hotellet och det var jätte lätt att ta sig dit då bussarna går var 10:e minut. Jag var lite orolig när jag bokade bara […] för att det låg en bit utanför...men nu är jag överlycklig att jag valde det hotellet. Bättre finns inte. Kommer absolut att bo här nästa gång jag besöker Amsterdam. Boka det!! Jag lovar att ni inte blir besvikna. Ville inte ens åka hem därifrån. Mehr

Un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Notre chambre belle, lumineuse et confortable et calme. Un service très sympathique au restaurant. Location de vélos à l'hôtel pour être indépendants. Vraiment rien à dire, un super séjour!

WestCord Art, maj 2011. Dejligt hotel med udmærket restaurent og god morgenmad. Vi boede på et XL-værelse som er dejligt stort. Der var både brusebad og karbad, og separat toilet - det hele var rent og lækkert. Der er et stort "problem" med disse XL-værelser: Det er ikke muligt at åbne vinduer, og derfor kører der konstant ventilation / aircondition, […] som IKKE kan slukkes helt. For mange mennesker vil dette sikkert ikke være noget problem, men for mig gjorde det oplevelsen på værelset dårlig fordi der konstant var træk i rummet. Jeg har her i bedømmelsen af hotellet angivet at jeg vil anbefale hotellet til andre - du skal bare være opmærksom mine anmærkninger om træk på XL-værelserne. Personalet er venlige og hjælpsomme. Hotellet ligger 10 minutters buskørsel fra centrum. Linje 48 kører lige til døren. Skønt at hotellet ligger i rolige omgivelser så man kan få fred når man ikke går rundt i centrum. Transport fra lufthavnen er let: Snup et tog fra lufthavnen til fx Central Station, og find linje 48. Stoppestedet ved hotellet hedder Hempoint. Mehr
