Had a great time at this hotel with friends and family. Hotel was very accommodating and polite. If our group ever makes it back to Shreveport, we'll be staying here.

The room was very spacious and clean. However the bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable for me. There were 2 people in my room and not enough wash cloths. When I called for towels I had to go to the front desk to get them myself. When I called to get a razor, you guessed it, I had to go to the front desk to get it myself. The hotel seems to be right […] in/at the Hood. Wasn't close to anything we were there for. The breakfast was Awesome though! Loved that there was a stove, fridge, and microwave even though I didn't get to use them. The first night there, it was impossible to get any sleep. The neighbors above and beside us were in a contest to see who could stomp the loudest, talk the loudest, yell the loudest and make the most noise. I think I dozed on and up until about 4am when the noise finally came to a calm. Mehr

The front desk clerk TJ was very hospitable and accomadating. I was there for a funeral and he allowed us to check early so that we could attend the funeral on time. I would definitely recommend and revisit the Residence Inn in Shreveport, LA

A very nice newer hotel.

We were looking for a nice hotel close to the Shreveport airport that would serve a substantial breakfast/brunch and shuttle us to the airport for our return trip home. We found all that and more in the Residence Inn Shreveport Airport! Our check-in was smooth and we mentioned we needed the shuttle the next morning, and a place to print our boarding […] passes that evening. The clerk mentioned their guest computer"s printer was out of ink, so let us print them out behind the desk at his printer. How kind! The suite was beautiful and immaculate! The kitchen was a full kitchen, equipped with dishes, nice tableware, small and large . The flat screens in both the living room and bedroom were new, and the decor was attractive and inviting. The bedroom, bathroom and vanity areas were spacious and comfortable. We would have liked firmer pillows on the bed, but I realize that is a personal choice. The room temperature was just right once we set the wall thermostat. Finally, the breakfast the next morning was even more than we expected. Far more than a continental fare, it consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt and yogurt parraits, eggs, biscuits, and sausage (which my husband complimented, and he seldom cares for hotel breakfast sausage). Also, waffles with various toppings, pastries, real cooked oatmeal and grits, and lots more. It more than satisfied us for the day of travel including two flights. The shuttle ride took less than 5 minutes in early morning traffic.. The area near the airport, of course was mostly a commercial area with a few other hotels, but honestly, we heard very little noise and rested very well. I booked this for my wife and teenage children who were traveling. My wife was awakened at 4:30 a.m. with bugs biting her feet and ankles. She has sores all over her feet from the bite and is having to use prescription meds to cure them. Don't know if this is what bed bugs do, but they definitely have a problem. Called management, but got no response. […] Paid way too much for this type of experience! Mehr

Very nice room and b'fast Bathroom's slightly outdated...need fine cleaning/renovation

We checked in at hotel then went to park. We drove all around the tiny parking lot but it was full. I went back inside to ask if I was missing the rest of the lot and was told that the security gaurd would show me where to park.He walked out and pointed at the fenceline, behind where other cars where parked in actual parking spots. I asked what happens […] if the other cars back out and dont see me parked there, since it wasnt really a parking spot. It was the driving lane for the lot. the guard just said thats a chance you have to take. Then he just walked off. I said to him thats not a chance I should "have to take" but he just ignored me. He was the only unfriendly person in the whole hotel. the rest of the staff was great, superfriendly. the room was great and clean. the breakfast was also great. The ONLY drawback to this hotel is the lack of parking for ALL its guests. Mehr

We decided to stay here because of all the good review that it had. It definitely met our expectiations. Great value for the quality of the place. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is immaculate. Staff is so courteous. Breakfast in really good as is the light evening meal. Hotel is very quiet even when quite full. I would not look anywhere to stay when we return to Shreveport.

Everything was exemplary: the personnel, the accommodations, the equipment. Everything was as stated online or better. Perfect. Wonderful value for the price. This hotel is exceptional, everything about it was nice. Rooms were very spacious and clean, buffet breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel. I booked my reservation online and all I had to do was show my ID when I arrived which was very convienient. The laundry facility was nice and clean, and they even have a basketball court that the kids […] loved. Very close to the airport for those that fly in and out of town. Great restaurants close by. My wife and I stayed here last weekend and decided to cook our phone in the room using the appliances & stove provided to us by Res. Inn. This room was large for the price as well. Great place to stay for what it costs.

IT WAS EASY TO LOCATE AND MY STAY WAS ENJOYABLE.THE CITY ISBECOMING A GREAT ATRACTION FOR TOUIRISTS.
