Wir möchten immer ein Zimmer zum Hof haben und nicht eines im angrenzenden Hotelgebäude. Ich habe deshalb schon die teurere Zimmerkategorie gebucht mit 2 Betten. Aber wie letztes Mal 10 Dollar Upgrade gezahlt. Aber dafür super freundlicher Service. Super Preis Leistungsverhälltnis für San Francisco und tolle lage zu Fuß 5-10Minuten zur Fisherman-Warf. Auch parken für 12 Dollar in San Francisco ,es sind es in den meisten anderen Hotels 25-50 Dollar.Jederzeit wieder.

Das Hotel liegt in der Geary St. ein paar Blocks vom Union Square. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im zweiten Stockwerk im Mittelgang, was den großen Vorteil hat, dass man den Straßenlärm nicht mitbekommt, sondern nur den gelegentlichen Lärm den andere Gäste verursachen. Die Zimmer haben nur ein kleines Fenster mit einem wenig schönen Ausblick auf den Innenhof. Das Continental Breakfast besteht aus Kaffee, Toast m. Butter u. Marmelade, O- bzw. Apfelsaft u. einem Stück Obst. Problematisch ist die Parkplatzsituation, da gleich vor der Haustür eine Bushaltestelle ist und ansonsten i.d.R. nur Parkplätze für Kurzparker vorhanden sind. Das Hotel bietet für 30 $ p. Tag einen Valetparkservice an, d.h. es kommt jemand u. parkt das Auto irgendwo, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Das Hotel liegt zwar in der Nähe des Unionsquare aber auch sehr dicht am Tenderloin Bezirk, den man vor allem Nachts meiden sollte. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel vom Preis - Leistungsverhältnis weiter empfehlen!

Der fünf Blocks entfernte Embarcadero ist ein beliebter Ort zum Joggen, Fahrradfahren und Inlineskaten.Das Hotel liegt acht Blocks von der Parkanlage Yerba Buena Gardens entfernt, in der sich ein historisches Karussell, eine Bowling- und Eislaufbahn sowie ein Kinderspielplatz befinden.

Die "Bullen" und "Bären" bevölkern die Straßen des Finanzdistrikts, in dem sich die höchsten Gebäude der Stadt befinden, darunter die unverwechselbare Transamerica Pyramid. Daran angrenzend verläuft der "Embarcadero", eine von Palmen gesäumte breite Straße, die vom AT&T Park der San Francisco Giants bis zur Fisherman's Wharf führt. Die Straße führt auch am Ferry Building vorbei. Dieses Wahrzeichen dient heute als Wochenmarkt für nicht industriell hergestellte Lebensmittel.

"Omni Hotel San Francisco zentral gelegen"
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral Nahe Chinatown, dem Bankenviertel und den Einkaufstrassen, jedoch ist es zum Hafen ein Stück entfernt. Für Sightseeing aber super gelegen.
"Hotel Omni liegt sehr zentral, Service perfekt"
Die erste Station unserer USA-Reise, das Omni San Francisco, war gleichzeitig die beste: wir waren sehr angetan und angenehm überrascht, speziell vom Frühstück! Diese Qualität haben wir die nächsten 3 Wochen nicht mehr gefunden, obwohl ähnliche Hotels gebucht!

"tolles Hotel im Zentrum"
sehr gut geführtes, attraktiv ausgestattetes Hotel in direkter Nähe zu Chinatown, Transamerica Tower und Union Square. Makelloser Service, bequeme Betten und angenehmes, hinreichend grosses Bad. Valet-Parking fürs Auto teuer (leider üblich in SF). Einziger Makel: kein Gratis WiFi im Hotelzimmer - man muss in die Lobby gehen oder sich in die Omni-Kundenliste […] eintragen lassen. "Friendly atmosphere"

"Business and Pleasure"
We were very pleasantly surprised as the Omni was not our first choice but our friends choice. The staff was exceptional. Rooms need a bit of updating as wallpaper is coming off the walls in some places. The be was comfortable. We were very glad to have robes and the location perfect.

"Close to everything"
This hotel is located within walking distance of everything in San Francisco. The hotel staff are very friendly and available to help with any requests. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again in the future.
"Close to the Ferry building/Embarcadero"
Our stay at The Omni was comfortable and exaclty as expected. It met expectations across all fronts. Only reccomendation is to fix the key entry to the rooms. Each time we returned from outside the hotel we had to get new keys made because the keys were deactivated while placed in your purse/handbag. Comfortable, clean rooms and attentive service. Only improvement would have been the location of the room. My room was on Floor 4 looking down onto Montgomery, and it did not allow a view to the sky based on the surrounding buildings.

It was the best experience I ever had. From the front door with the bell hop collecting all my bags to checking with a free glass of champange to free hot fresh brew coffee deliverd to my door every morning. It was awesome.

I was very pleased with the Omni. The staff members at the front desk were extremely pleasant and helpful, and we had a nice personal welcoming note from the maid staff in or room. The room was very large and comfortable, as was the nice king bed. The hotel's also conveniently located just a few blocks from the Embarcdero BART station and is in a safe […] neighborhood in the heart of the financial district. This is a lovely hotel. Great location downtown and beautiful rooms. The rooms are large, comfortable and beautiful, and it is not typical to have large rooms in this city! "Omni San Francisco Hotel"
This is a high-end luxury city hotel. We got a very good internet rate, but valet parking was very expensive. Our room was just renovated 2 months ago and looked brand new. Cleanest carpet I have ever seen in a hotel. Our room had no view but I guess that is what you get with the discounted rate. They had turn down service which included milk and cookies! […] Upon arrival, my 5 y/o daughter got a toy backpack with some token toys which she really loved. Make sure you sign up for their guest loyalty program which is free, but you get complimentary wireless internet as a member. It's better to do it before you get there. The location is great if you like to eat in Chinatown. Only 2 blocks away. Dim sum at the Great Eastern Restaurant was very good. PS-If you have more than 2 kids sharing your room, well, you might want to walk in separately since it is against their policy, even though it says kids under 18 can share available bedding. Mehr

What a fantastic hotel and experience! We took the kids on a spring break trip to SF and chose the Omni based on the positive reviews. The reviews were correct--it is a great hotel. The location was great--right on the California cable car route and a couple blocks from the Powell and Hyde route. The staff were all fantastic including everyone at the […] Concierge desk. They helped us book our City Tour through Tower Tours and a day trip to Napa/Sonoma. They also had discount coupons for a bike trip across the Golden Gate bridge (a must-do) Everyone from the maids, bellmen, desk staff could not have been nicer. I have walked past this hotel many times while I lived in SF. Now back in NY, I returned to town for a black tie event. Not only was I extremely satisified with the hotel, but the room was exactly what I was seeking. Spacious, unpretentious, clean and a sizable bathroom. Let's not forget the staff. Close to financial district and china town we stayed in OSF for 2 nights. Service was great and rooms had all you need. Lobby area was great to sit in and the free (donation welcome) walking tour (Sat only I think) was really interesting. We also ate in Bob's Steakhouse for dinner - this was probably one of the most expensive meals of our two week stay […] in the US but was deinitely up their on quality and taste. Mehr
