Das Hotel hat die 4 Sterne voll verdient! Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Frühstück ist vergleichbar mit jedem 4 Sterne Hotel in Deutschland. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und entsprechen auch absolut dem Standard eines 4 Sterne Hotels in Deutschland.

Für unseren einwöchigen Venedigbesuch suchten wir einen idealen Ausgangspunkt und haben ihn im Hotel Ai Pini gefunden. Auf dem kleinen parkähnlichen Grundstück (etwas kleiner, als die Fotos vermuten lassen) konnten wir unser Fahrzeug die ganze Woche sicher abstellen. Ca. 15 m vor der Hotelzufahrt befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle und mit der Linie 7 kann man ohne Umsteigen direkt zum Busbahnhof in Venedig fahren, wo sich auch die Vaporettostationen befinden. Die Busfahrt dauert ca. eine halbe Stunde - der Bus ist je nach Tageszeit relativ voll. Vom Busbahnhof in Venedig kann man in ein Vaporetto umsteigen oder nach Überquerung der nächsten Brücke direkt die Gassen von Venedig erkunden. Im Hotel konnten wir auch die Kombikarten Hellovenezia für Bus und Vaporetto erstehen. Diese kostete für sieben Tage fünfzig Euro pro Person und hatte sich bereits nach dem zweiten Tag gerechnet. Das Personal im Ai Pini ist absolut freundlich und sehr hilfbereit - angefangen beim Empfang bis zum sehr guten Restaurant (empfehlenswert). Es ist jedoch ratsam, die etwas größeren Zimmer möglichst mit Blick auf den Park zu wählen - darin kann man sich aber sehr wohl fühlen (auch wenn es keine Zimmer mit Balkon gibt). Alles in allem als Ausgangspunkt für Venedigbesuche sehr geeignet.

Zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten zählen das Ghetto (ursprünglich eine jüdische Enklave) mit seinen Museen sowie der majestätische Palast Ca d'Oro, eines der Wahrzeichen am Canal Grande.

We got exactly what we expected for the price we payed. Very happy that it was within walking distance of Pizza de Roma where the bus goes for 3 Euro to the airport. Only problem was lugging baggage over the bridge but other than that no problem. Room was very small but for the price and location what else would you expect.

"Hotel Zecchini - good location for the price."
We stayed at the Hotel Zecchini overnight between cruises. The location is excellent for this, close to all terminals - bus/car/train/port/water taxi. The rooms were clean and comfortable, (albeit a few stairs to climb as we were on the 3rd floor), staff were happy/helpful - we checked in at 11pm and out at 10am. We were able to leave our bags while […] we explored Venice for 6 hours before catching our ship. Piazza San Marco is an easy 20 minute walk away by direct route. "Zecchini Hotel in Venice Italy"
The Zecchini Hotel is a very nice inexpensive hotel. It is in a really good location, but it is difficult to get there if you have a lot of bags (same for many areas within Venice). The people were nice, the hotel was very clean, and the cost is very reasonable for Venice. I would stay in this hotel again. One more thing ... there were no airconditioners […] in our rooms so I gave it a "3" for comfort. Mehr
"good value"
The hotel is well located to the transportaion hub (boats, buses, and train). The desk person was helpful & fortunately spoke English. The room faced the street & consequently was noisey & the breakfast (included) was nothing special. But what can one expect with the prices of Venice. This was a good value.
"Great Location"
The hotel rooms are TINY but acceptable. About the size of a large walk-in closet. The hotel is located close to the train station. We walked there in about 3 minutes which was great because you don't want to lug your luggage around in the hot and humid July weather in Venice. There is not an elevator. The room was air conditioned.

Great location close to the station. Small room but was clean and big enough for a short stay. Good price for Venice.
"What can expect for the price"
Unfortunately, I expected alot more for my money. Venice is extremely expensive so the afforable hotel is not good at all. When we arrived there was a large group of kids staying here so it was very noisy and I felt very strange sharing a bathroom is so many strangers. So they offered us a room with a private bathroom in their other hotel right next […] door for 15euros more a night in cash. Only because of the bathroom and because I figured the rooms in this place were so bad it couldn't get much worse we took it. We were right it wasn't worse it was pretty much the same. The room smelled like mildew and the sheets and blankets looked like they really don't get washed. The only reason our stay wasn't that bad is because we were barely in the room. The pizzeria right next door is pretty good and is open late. The gelato they had there was the best I had during my whole stay in Italy. If you're on a budget and don't plan to be in your hotel room alot, only to sleep and shower, than it's ok to stay here but bring your own sheets and towels, like I did, thank god. Mehr
""Lousy hotel and poor services""
During our second night stay at the hotel, the air conditioner for the room broke down. As the weather is very hot at that time, we asked the lady staff at the reception to ask someone to rectify this problem. She told us to provide her the reservation booking . When we show her our room reservation booking , she replied very rudelly that the air conditioning […] is not included but is a PRESENT from the hotel . Therefore she did not have to fix this problem . => very poor service and rude staff Mehr

"close to the station on a great shopping street"
This hotel was good and the staff nice. close to the station and on a good shopping street, the breakfast room is very small, so if you want to have breakfast by 9 you will have to stand in line to get it, otherwise ok rooms and very helpful staff
"Flott beliggenhet"
Zecchini Hotel i Venezia har en super beliggenhet, og med hyggelige folk. Rommene er små, og frokosten er enda mindre. - Var også plaget av mygg, så husk myggmiddel.
"Fint til prisen"
Rent og ok. Super sød og kompetent betjening i receptionen. Meget lille værelse og ikke nogen komfort, men fint nok til overnatning. Der er en del støj fra gade/baggård. Hotellet ligger super centralt. Meget tæt på bus-/togstation samt lige ud til handelsgade m.m. Kort afstand til færgebusser og i gåafstand til det meste. Morgenmadsrestaurant er meget […] lille og der er ikke plads til alle. Stod i kø, men ikke så længe. Meget sød betjening til morgenmaden, men ikke det store udvalg. Vil anbefale hotellet til enkelte overnatninger, hvor der ikke kræves meget andet end en seng. Vi kommer garanteret igen. Mehr
