"Feines Hotel in bester Lage"
Bewertet von Jan W aus "Hessen, Deutschland" am 13. Jun. 2011War für 5 Nächte in diesem schönen, im viktorianischen Stil erbauten Hotel. Das Zimmer war groß, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Lobby ist eine Augenweide. Restaurant ("The English Grill") ist zwar teuer aber sehr gut. Die Bar ist recht klein, man fühlt sich aber trotzdem wohl, auch wegen der überaus freundlichen Mitarbeiter. Die Lage ist insbesondere für Geschäftsreisende, welche in Downtown bleiben wollen, hervorragend. Wenn ich wieder in Louisville bin, werde ich mit SIcherheit auch wieder dieses Hotel wählen.

"Don't Book If You Need More Than One Actual Bed"
We were in Louisville for our daughter's college graduation and were looking forward to a relaxing night together. Unfortunately,per the hotel, Expedia counts a fold-out sofa sleeper as a bed. I reserved a room with two beds but received a room with one bed and an uncomfortable/unusable sofa sleeper. Upon request to change rooms, I was told by the front […] desk clerk that the hotel had NO rooms with two actual beds. "Quiet, Beautiful and Comfort-Focused"
The hotel was fantastically comfortable. I loved the in-room DVD player, the flat screen TV and all the kitchen equipment. The decor was comfortable and modern. Our visit started out well. The front desk clerk was very helpful. However, when we got to the room, we realized the accommodations were a bed and a fold out couch, (we thought we were getting two queen beds), and it was a handicapped equipped room. When I went back to the front desk to ask about a different room, I was told all the suites had a bed […] and a fold out couch, which was fine. I am still not sure why we had a handicapped room since we booked well in advance of our arrival date and did not require one. Later we returned to the front desk to ask directions to a mall. The clerk looked at us and said, "How can I help you ladies NOW?" After she realized we were not complaining, she was very helpful. The shower and sink took a full five minutes before the water ran hot. In the middle of my shower, someone in another room apparently turned their water on and the shower began to run ice cold. The next morning we attempted to buy a soft drink from the pantry, but no one was available to help us. I will not stay at a Staybridge again. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"A must visit hotel"

Our family visit in Louisville, Kentucky was fun and exciting. The hotel has kitchen where you can cook your own food. I enjoyed the free breakfast-all you can eat. The kids loved it. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was convenient to where I needed to go the next day, Southeast Christian Church, walking distance as a matter of fact. The room that I had was nicely set up and could see that a single person could be comfortable if they needed to stay there for several days. Kitchen was well equipt for cooking. I liked that there […] were even some recipes in the hotel information booklet. Microwave popcorn was a nice touch! Good breakfast available in the hotel lobby. Clean and comfortable for the most part. Draw backs was the paper thin walls. Anytime a door shut in the hallway it sounded like your own...and we heard people in the rooms next to us talking and well, you know (even with the TV on and up). I have 2 cons and all the rest pro's for this place. Con #1) A/C turning on is extrememly loud. Like, wake you from a sound sleep loud. Con #2) Breakfast buffett is horrendous. "Well below expectations"
The first room they tried to give us was NOT the room we paid for via Hotels.com (Studio suite vs Standard suite). Only sheers to cover the windows so the sun came in extremely bright in the mornings AND the bright lights of the 24 hour gas station were annoying as well. The phone in our room rang, however you couldn't dial out of the room (The living […] area phone did work). Had stayed at the Staybridge in Tallahassee and was very impressed so we were pleased Staybridge was in Louisville where we were staying on the way home. Very comfortable and roomy. Wonderful place! Very nice design, but comfortable for a family. The living room was nice after a long day of traveling to cuddle and watch a movie.
