Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel - Sacramento

$18 for parking overnight in Sacramento!!!!!! The garage is not convenient, a block away from the hotel. Ice machine in few floors, very inconvenient. The tiny pool is covered by the building making it very cold even on a sunny day. Way too expensive for not a good hotel

The beds weren't very comfortable and the position of the TV was odd. The pool was another disappointment due to the tall buildings blocking the sun. But the hotel staff, valets included, were very pleasant and helpful.

Everything was great, but the pillow smelt of cat urine and kind of put us off on our wedding night.

The staff at the Sheraton should be complimented for their amazing service. From check-in to check-out I felt like a queen! Thank you for your prompt attention to every request and need I had. It was so appreciated!

Can't get a bette location if you have a meeting at the convention center. Great restaurants in walkin distance. If you are up for a walk, some great urban neigborhoods near the capital.

Very comfortable and the staff was curteous and helpful.

Great hotel for pets. The furniture is not high enough off the ground for your pet to squeeze under in an attempt to escape their next crating! As with most Sheratons, the rooms are gorgeous, well-maintained, and current on the decor trend. But this one stood out for their poor front-desk service. Yes I came at 2 am after a really long drive from […] Southern CA, but there were two associates available. One of them was snotty (why is it always the females?!?!) and the other wasn't incredibly friendly either but then stepped it up after a few things went wrong. It took 20 minutes to check in, and I had two pets with me so that was a hassle. When I finally got to the room it felt like a small fire had been started - SO hot! But got that fixed quickly. The service coupled with my fatigue really put me in an awful mood and I voiced it frustratingly to the front-desk associate, in which he gave me a complimentary breakfast for the next morning. My German Shepherd got a massive breakfast of sausages, ham, and eggs thanks to that good sir! Mehr

We were a bit disappointed with Club Level King Room, as it seemed to be a standard room without upgrades--such as 2 comfortable chairs, micro & refrigerator. We went "green" but got no coffee for 2nd day, there should be towel bars for reusing towels Room was clean and comfortable, bed was OK. Valet and bell men were good at their jobs. I just feel […] that when I pay top rate for a hotel room, I shouldn't have to sit on the bed to read or watch TV. Mehr

I've stayed at this property several times and it's a great location, nice property, but on this occasion there was a teen conference or something so they were extremely loud and running thru the halls. It seemed like the Sheraton didn't have any control on them.

The room had a great view and the room itself was very well kept and clean. The only problem is the noise the room gets. I could near people in the next room very easily and the door allows talk from the outside come right in. Noises throughout the night will keep you up and wake you up early in the morning.

We stayed over for New Years and there was nothing in the hotel. Not even a piano player in the bar? We sat in the lobby and watched TV just like home. We were very disappointed. When we decided to go to another hotel we found that the doors were locked and the neighborhood was rough. Back inside to no celebration. We only live 45 minutes away and thought […] it would be fun to party in the hotel. I would have at least bought hats and horns if we stayed at home. Mehr

The service wasn't all that good. We were not told of some of the up grade options or where things were located the hotel. They didn't offer any downtown transportation information and we had to always ask for help finding something and no one was particularly friendly.

First time to stay in this hotel, luv the location, overall it is very satisfactory, u get the most for what you pay for, will definitely stay here again in the future.

I like this hotel...my wife did not care for the bed, but I thought it was fine....the stay was nice...the only problem in my view is less with the hotel and more with the neighborhood...unfortunately, the City of Sacramento has chosen not to control the homeless and people on the street, so there is a feeling of not being entirely safe if you walk […] at night...on New Year's Eve there was a huge police presence in the hotel and downtown....it made us feel like there is a lot of trouble in the area....but it may have been more for the New Year's crowd and not in general....self serve parking across the street is convenient and reasonable at $18 per night...the fitness room is adequate. Hotel awesome but frequently harrassed by indigents upon leaving/entering hotel

I really enjoyed my stay and the location was great. We live local and just wanted to get away for the night. The location was perfect because we could keep the car parked and walk anywhere. I would definitely recommend it.

I was wondering why the internet cost? The workout room is top notch for a hotel. It is one of the best one I have seen.. Overall I we had a nice stay.

I would have liked to see the coffee court open on the cold and foggy mornings. Due to Thanksgiving holiday all surronding coffee courts closed. Also at time of booking it would have been nice to know that there was a high fee for parking at the hotel.

I happened to be in another room and noticed that there were a few "extras" such as sewing kit, bath robes, personal care items that were not in my room. I was on the 8th floor, this other room was on the 20th floor (I think). The rooms were identical other than that. While it's really no big deal, I do think those overlooked finer touches do make a […] difference in how the guest perceives the "luxuriousness" of the experience. Mehr

Not many nice hotel choices in Sacramento, I felt trusting a chain would be my smartest choice. Reservation was not correct - but I had my printout from Hotels.com to back me up. They eventually gave us a king room, but not on the club level as reserved. Neighborhood is two blocks from the capital, and three blocks from a boarded up downtown. Many homeless […] in the area. Most shops and smaller resaurants are closed on the weekend. Bed was like a life raft - what a joke. Mehr

It was a very nice hotel, I would recommend it. It's nice to find an upscale hotel that is "dog friendly".

The hotel was comfortable and good value placed convienently in downtown.

I did not expect this hotel to be as nice and convenient as it was. Our room was nice, quiet, and clean and had up-to-date furnishings. The bed was comfortable too! The location is also great...close to the convention center and within walking distance to bars and restaurants. I would def stay at the Sheraton again!

The hotel was very clean and in a good location. The hotel staff were very nice!!! I was on the 19th floor and the room had a awesome view, my room even had a window seat so I could sit and look out at the wonderful view!!!

This was perfect location to all the sites in downtown, old town and midtown. The service was awesome the room was great. We brought our bikes for easy access to all the restaurants and bars in midtown and easy to get to the river etc. Without parking hassles. The pool however was NOT GOOD .... NO service for drinks or snacks , and was smashed between […] the buildings . It was clean and well kept though . Mehr
