Hotel Panorama - Venedig

Die Lage auf dem Lido ist gut, wenn man kein Problem damit hat, ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Vaporetto nach Venedig überzusetzen. Wir haben die morgendliche und abendliche Bootsfahrt durch die Lagune sehr genossen und hatten uns dafür eine Mehrtageskarte der Bootsgesellschaft Actv gekauft (mit der man z.B. auch nach Murano oder Torcello fahren kann). Das […] Hotel ist offenbar erst kürzlich renoviert worden, die Räume inkl. Frühstücksraum, Lobby etc. sind in sehr gepflegtem Zustand. Der Besitzer war bei unserem Aufenthalt während des Karnevals-Wochenendes jeden Morgen persönlich anwesend und hat uns sehr professionell und freundlich betreut! Von der Lagunenseite hat man einen schönen Blick aufs Wasser, auch wenn das neue Abfertigungsgebäude der zentralen Vaporetto-Anlegestelle des Lido mittlerweile in die unmittelbare Nähe des Hotels gerückt ist (was uns aber nicht gestört hat). Das Frühstück war gut sortiert und für italienische Verhältnisse auch sehr vielseitig. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmes Hotel, das preislich ein gutes Stück günstiger als vergleichbare Hotels in Venedig Zentrum liegt - für uns ein Glücksfall! Mehr

Lovely hotel over looking Venice, easy boat routes to the main land (recommend buying boat/bus pass). The lady on Reception on our arrival was extremely helpful and welcoming. Bedroom clean but quite compact - (double bed was two put together which isn't that comfortable) only a shower in bathroom and no coffee facilities in the room. Great hotel with easy access immediately across from the water boat stop on Lido Island. Friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. Large room on the third floor - only small negative being the bath/shower where it is not possible to stand up to take a shower because of the slanting roof. Across the street from public transportation on Lido, this hotel is in a perfect location. Older, charming hotel which was very clean. The hotel service was excellent, from many different employees. They were always friendly and more than happy to assist us with any request. I would stay again and recommend this place to anyone. Paramount hotel on Lido island is not exactly the most convenient location unless you do not mind the rather expensive boat rides from Venice. Once off the jetty at Lido, you can't miss Paramount. However, Room 304 given to us on the first […] night smelt like the sewers in the bathroom. We opened the windows and the bad air came in too. We complained and were told Venice air is like that. However, the outside air is nice. I found out next morning the chimney is located just above the bathroom and near the window. It blows out steam constantly, which I presume is where the bad air came from. We got a change of room the next day and things were much better. I would have rated Paramount higher if not for Room 304. It should not be used at all if it's constantly giving bad air. Make sure you don't get this room if you are staying there. Mehr

This is the first hotel you would spot when you land in Lido. Lido by itself is not far from venice and has water bus running every 15 mins or so till 12 PM. We stayed in the superior room the view was excellent we saw a cruise liner go by . As far as hotel goes it has a large lobby and a nice breakfast area. The breakfast is very fulfiling (one of […] the best i have had for free).The front desk executive was courteous and he escorted us to our room which was a nice gesture and also explained to us about the water bus timing's and station. The hotel is located directly opposite the Main Lido ferry terminal, which gives you access to all islands in the Lagoon as well as the airport. The ' Panorama ' is an unpretentious, comfortable hotel, with very helpful and efficient staff.Our room was stylishly furnished, clean and quiet. A mini - bar was provided. The breakfast room overlooks the […] lagoon and it is a novel experience to view a gigantic passenger liner passing the picture window, as you munch your cereal. The Lido itself is a 10 minute boat ride from the main island of Venice but gives you a quiet charming base, with its own beach, shops. restaurant's and canal side walks. You have the added bonus of arriving in Venice by boat. Ferry passes can be purchase for various durations and although initially appear expensive are very good value and allow unlimited travel on the Lagoon network. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. Enjoyed our stay, good breakfast and helpful desk staff. We had the Garden room which you accessed from an outside door of the hotel, the weather was great so this didn't bother us to much! We had one of best dinners in Italy at a local restaurant near the hotel. First of all, please note that this hotel is NOT in Venice. It is located on Lido, which is a nearby island. That said, given the fact that the city itself is under water and commuted via water anyway, it is only a 20 min ferry boat ride away, and really not bad. I must say of all the places I stayed in Italy, I was most impressed with this place , […] in terms of their rooms and service. Very spacious and clean, with a nice scenic neighborhood and courteous staff. One more point, If you do decide to stay here, be sure to check out the beach on the island. Heating did not work. Room next to Garage. It is 2 star and not 4.

The Hotel is in an ideal location, straight off the waterbus at Lido and across the road. Check in very smoooth and we were given complimentary drinks whilst we waited ten minutes for our rooms to be ready. The rooms were very clean and always warm which was very welcome since it was the end of October. Reception staff were always helpful and informative. Lido […] is a complete contrast to St Marks Square etc and a great location to explore from. Mehr

The location is excellent, right next to the vaporetto station, beach is 15 min walking, private beach available for extra payment but worth the payment as the public beach is not too attractive. Good experience, would take it again if travelling to Venice.

Lido is a quiet, quaint part of Venice, and the vaporette is very convenient. However, lacks the ambience of Venice, the hotel is quite far from the beach, the air didn't work until our last day, and there were no "extras" service-wise. We wanted a drink one night, but no one was available for service.

The location is excellent : right opposite the vaporetto stop. We stayed at the end of April and were told the air con would not come on until the end of June, so the first night was very noisy as we had to have the window open. However, on subsequent nights the air con worked and so the noises outside were never a problem. The beds were very comfortable […] and the room, though fairly small was very adequate, as we were out all day every day. The shower was excellent and simple to operate and the bathroom was a good size and very clean. We were happy with the breakfasts which were buffet style with all the usual foods one gets in a continental breakfast. There are some excellent restaurants within a few minutes walking distance of the hotel. The boat ride to Venice Island takes 10 to 15 minutes and is a great way to start a sight-seeing day. We can highly recommend The Panorama as an economical place to stay in Venice. Mehr

Island is truly welcomed with locals and away from the beat. A quite taxi boat ride away from Venice proper, the staff is clearly passionate about the city and will go beyond the call to ensure your happiness. Our room was tiny as was the bathroom and it was a smoking room whenI had specifically asked for non-smoking. The staff was not very helpful and recommended a restaurant that was not good on the island. The only good thing was that it was close to the vaporetto stop, but it was not worth the price to stay on Lido.

This hotel takes you out of the crowds of Venice, but is only a short water bus ride away. Has great resturants close by.

So close to thre Water bus station you can wait in the hotel until it is arriving if you wish. Continetal breafast was excellant. View from rooms wonderful. All we needed for a trip to venice.

Hotel is on the island of Lido and can only be reached by boat. If you bring your car along it will be a ferry ride with hotel having limited parking available. Hotel is in a great location to travel in and out of Venice by water taxis / buses.

todo muy bien solo el cuarto de abajo muy ruidoso en la mañana. Todo muy bien.

Yppelig beliggenhet hvis man ønsker en kombinasjon av strandliv og nærhet til Venezia. Hotellet ligger kun 50 meter fra båtterminalen og 10 minutters gange til stranda, adgang til privat strand. Meget hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Mange gode spisesteder i nærheten av hotellet. Gode senger, air condition og koselig frokost spisesal.

A nice hotel, well located just opposite the waterbus station at the Lido Venetia. Lots of restaurants and little shops in the neighbourhood and (fortunately) a bit away from the big crowds of San Marco and Rialto. Nice to come back to the Lido in the evening. Only negative point of the hotel: make sure you don't get the Garden room; the only room downstairs, […] overlooking a parking place and very small. Hotellet ligger rett utenfor "turistmaskinen" Venezia, på egen stille og rolig øy med veldig bra kommunikasjon til Venezia. Når du da er lei av alle turistene og livet i Venezia drar du lett av gårde med Vaporettaen tilbake til stillhet og ro på Lidoen. Anbefales!

Lille men veldrevet hotel. Hotellets navn: panorama er totalt berettiget. Enestående udsigt til Markuspladsen og hele lagunen. Udmærket morgenmad, venlig betjening, rigtigt godt hotel til prisen.
