The only minor complaint I could give was that the lobby smelled a little moist/ stale. But I assume that's the price for being right on the beach. The room was nice, the bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning system worked very well. There were three great sized mirrors (one full body) which made it very easy to get ready with two women […] in the room :) The breakfast was very good considering it was complementary. It was your choice of muffins, toast, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles and juice or coffee. All warm and very tasty. If it needed any additional flavor, there was salt and pepper, butter, and jelly. It was very convenient during our stay to just walk out the hotel and down to the beach. We walked to an amazing restaurant called pier 99 their sea food and drink specials were awesome. Check out was smoooth. And our over all stay was great :) Mehr

The beach was right out the back doors and hot breakfast was a nice bonus. The pool and hot tub were being renovated while we were there,but they both looked to be pretty large. The room was average, but overall we enoyed our stay there.

It was New Years and it was so much fun! The room was clean, everything was in order and the staff was very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay! I would definitely room here again!

Room not maintained well... peeling paint, overall not very clean, mold in bathrooms. Our room only had a shower, no bathtub... not good when travelling with small children. Convenient access to USS Lexington, beach shops, and an OK beach area.

The hotel was a little difficult to get to... The rooms do not have a de-humidifer in the room. Thought I would be ok with it since I grew up in the area but it felt humid the entire stay. The breakfast was good and the room was spacious and clean.

The Hotel and staff were great the only complain was the extra visitors that come out each night when the lights are off!!! Bugs are an issue and I would recommend if you are staying here and get "grossed" out by the four legged friends be sure to bring along a BIG CAN of RAID. Needless to say I slept the whole trip with the lights on and did a daily […] shakedown of all my items to ensure I wasn't carrying an extra hitchhiker on my travels. Mehr

Ms Laverne is the lady that kelpt my room nice and clean. I will be staying at this hotel again. The staff was very friendly.Even the enviroment was quiet and soothing. I have no complaints about this hotel. Quality Inn made our trip outstanding.

The hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to restaurants, ship, and the aquarium, and so close to the beach. The staff was friendly and overall it was a great place to stay and affordable.

We thought the hotel was on the beach as advertised, the hotel is actually on the bayside. We had to drive 30 minutes to get to the beach. Terrible location.

I always enjoy staying at this Quality Inn when I visit Corpus. My father served on the Lexington, so it is convenient when I want to visit. Hot tub with a beach view is a definite plus!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly while still professional but as my son said "Wow everybody here treats us like we are their best regular customers". The staff really goes over and beyond to make sure the guest are comfortable and happy. The location is convienient to to Lex and the Aquarium as […] well as many places to eat. Before I booked this hotel I read the reviews and thought "surely they have sprayed for the insects by now." Well they have NOT. We had roaches crawling around the room every night. Ants one night. The room stunk of who knows what. And the floor including the carpet was so dirty I walked around with my shoes on the whole time. The only good things about […] the hotel were the location right on Corpus Christi beach and that we were able to walk to the Aquarium and the Lexington. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else. We were glad to be close to the beach. the whole staff made us feel welcomed and we felt that we had a decent stay

My husband and I always stay at this hotel when we go to corpus or padre. The location is great, good breakfast, and good customer service.

The room itself was ok - king bed and a small sitting area. However, there were ants in the bathroom and my husband killed a roach in the sitting area within the first 10 minutes we were there. We slept with a light on in hopes that it would keep other roaches away. The room was hot, humid and stuffy upon check-in, and it took several hours before it […] had cooled to a comfortable level. This hotel does not have an elevator, and the only ice machine is on the first floor. The breakfast was fine. Overall, I wished we had spent an extra $30 for a nicer room. If we had been staying more than one night, we would have switched hotels after the first night. Mehr

alot of roaches at nigth door no close properly ac cover was missing carpet needs to be clean i will not recomend this hotel to nobody on the pictures looks very nice but when you in the mothe is complete different .we dont like it.

Hotel is nothing amazing, a little run-down, but clean. Nice big pool and pool courtyard. Very nice location - right on the beach and easily within walking distance of the U.S.S. Lexington. Probably would stay there again - not for the hotel, but for the location.

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The price is a bit high for the size of the room.

I highly recommend this Hotel, its clean, the staff was friendly, its right infront of the bay. I loved staying here i will be returning again!!

Hotel was very close to beach, very pleasant stay. Al, one of the employees was very helpful, and polite. Al also helped with running off persons who were not staying at hotel. THANKS AL.

I booked this hotel since I am a lap swimmer and was impressed by the description of the swimming pool. Great pool if you have a wet suit or whale blubber for insulation. Seems that the past reviews, the hotel self description, and the usual paucity of information from Hotels.com all neglected to mention that this pool is NOT heated and that you can […] expect the water temp to be a nipple tingling 69 degrees in mid-March. Yeah, hop right on in! So I ended up swimming at a Gold's gym down the street about 8 miles. Also, my room was mostly clean but the dirt that existed detracted. There was dog hair and what looked like mud from Lassy'spaws as well all over one of the night stands. Then there was enough dust under the microwave to create one very large fur ball. How hard is it tom lift a small microwave and CLEAN UNDER IT!? Yuck. Positives (there are always some) Great hotel if you must bring Lassy--dog friendly--every other room yielded a "Woof" as you walked by, hot and cold breakfast was nice, staff friendly and helpful. THE ROOM HAD A HORRIBLE SMELL. AFTER DRIVING FOR 3 HOURS STRAIGHT, I HAD TO GO TO THE BATHROOM. I LITERALLY THREW MY STUFF ON THE FLOOR AND RAN INTO THE BATHROOM. WHEN I SAT DOWN THE TOILET SEAT SLID TO THE SIDE!! THE BACKDOOR HINGE WAS BROKEN AS WELL AS THE SLOT THE DOOR CLOSES INTO. THE AIR CONDITIONER RAN LIKE A HEATER AND NEVER GOT COLD! THE BEDS […] ARE COMPLETELY HORRIFIC!! I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN NO MATTER HOW DESPARATE I AM FOR A PLACE TO STAY. I TRAVEL AT LEAST 2-3 TIMES A MONTH AND THIS WAS THE WORST I HAVE EVER BEEN IN. Hotel was poorest quality of any of our 9 night trip. Location was good, easy to find and convenient to the sites we wished to see. Hotel was old, bathroom smelled very musty. Fridge & microwave had so much dust and fingerprints, couldn't have been cleaned off in ages. Bed was quite confortable and breakfast very adequate.

This hotel is old and outdated. Wonderful location, but rooms were dirty, small, noisy, and had uncomfortable beds. Breakfast was good. Pool area very good. For the price I will go elsewhere.

The hotel was undergoing some repairs but overall it was nice. The view was beautiful on the beach and we loved that we were able to walk to both the Aquarium and the Lex Museum in less than 10minutes and right in front of the hotel was a great place for dining with live music! I recommend this place for couples that like to take a vacay easy.

We visited under abnormally cold weather conditions. Room had a very nice view of the ocean! Great value for ocean motel, walking distance to shops and the USS Lexington Museum. Clean beach. Wish we could have been there when it was above normal temps, not below. Would like to go back. Room 135 is GREAT if you can get it.

Location, Location, Location. Excellent layout...nice pool area opens up to the beach. Very Comfortable rooms. Excellent selection for the complementary Continental breakfast. Not comfortable with the second story access doors from the P-Lot (securitywise).

Avoid room 116!! After checking into this room and finding it quite dirty and in desperate need of new paint and carpeting, I got to look at two other rooms and picked the cleanest one. The new room was clean but the bed was too firm for me. The free breakfast was good and it's a great location and an easy walk to the Aquarium, Lexington and Blackbeard's. […] The pool is the largest and cleanest I've ever seen for a hotel. If they replace the beds and get a better room cleaning staff, I'd come back to this hotel. Mehr

Quality Inn is at a great location. It's close to the beach, Aquarium, Lexington, restaurants, and shops. The neighborhood is quiet and the room is clean. Wireless Internet access is provided with the room. The staff if friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great and provides a variety of choices. We had no issues while staying there 2 nights.

WE STAYED COUPLE DAYS ON AUG-2010 . 1-The best was the breakfast (was alot food and choice) 2-close to the beach,to the aquarium,and the Lexintong museum. 3-close to the grocerys stores and restaurant. 4- price is fair. 5- Is safe place on the day and nigths.

Walking distance to aquarium and on the beach; beautiful pool - great variety of items for breakfast, included in price. Balconies are not worth the extra money - very small and can't see the beach anyway. No elevator, walk those stairs. Parking is limited to be near your room.

This hotel is NOT for those looking for a luxury hotel. The rooms are small but generally clean....NO BUGS to report !!! It is for those who are there for fun in the sun !!! The pool is just a few steps away from any room and the beach is a very short walk away. It is close to Black Beards (my fav!) and local shops are all within walking distance !!! Nice room, good location, nice big pool, nice view from our non-smoking room, fridge/ microwave a plus for us. No fuss, just what you need at a fair price. Tasty breakfast, could use some whole grains though. We will be back for sure.
